Absolutely loved this cafe. I went on a weekday morning and there was a line to order so definitely recommend getting here early! Once you place your order they give you a table and bring your food out to you once it's ready. There's also a sign saying seats are assigned. We really appreciated that they enforced this since there was a group behind us that tried cutting the line to get seats. I got the matcha ube latte, pork belly benny and a pastry. The pastry was nice and flaky, I liked the sweetness of the ube with the bitterness of the matcha, and the pork belly benjy was so soft and melted in my mouth. The benny did seem a bit pricy but it definitely delivered with the quality. I'll be coming back the next time I'm in town!
Beautiful space, modern, airy, and worth seeing. Coffee is solid and well-made. Matcha was smooth and not too sweet. Pastries are the highlight very flaky, buttery, and clearly done right. Breakfast sandwich looks rich. Bacon brioche is good, but nothing standout. Busy spot, so don't expect a relaxed vibe. Overall: great for coffee and pastries.
One of the best ube matcha lattes ive ever had. The pastries were absolutely delicious. Such a vibe. You definitely have to add this to your lists of places to go to.
It had been a long time since I went to Nemesis and I was really craving their mortadella sandwich. They always have new drinks and pastries everytime I go. This time I tried their matcha ube latte (iced) and it was SOOO GOOD! The ube and matcha flavours went so well together and complement each other so well. I also tried their new pesto mozzarella swirl that was delicious, I would recommend getting it warmed up. For sweet, I tried their orange chocolate croissant. SO GOOD! It had tiny bits of orange. 5/5 Their service is amazing. Of course, there was a wait but we were a group of 7 and we got in within 20mins on a busy Sunday morning. They weren't able to give us a big table so it was a bit cozy but they were so attentive. I love this location of theirs and I can't wait to come back and try some more new things!
Christmas season's special item - Christmas tree croissant!! Nemesis offers Christmas Tree croissant - mint ganache, raspberry peppermint confit. Christmas tree shape's croissant was very adorable. Bi-color design was very beautiful. Dough was flaky, lighter than I expected. Mint ganache and raspberry peppermint confit paired well. Raspberry confit has strong flavor and more dominant flavor. It was a lot of fun to try Christmas tree croissant! They offer more variety of danishes and other croissant items. I will revisit and want to try them.
Came here for brunch since I heard so many good things about this coffee chain based in vancouver. The architecture of this location was really unique and cool from both inside and outside. It's like an upside down flower(?). They have a garage parking lot and spots dedicated for customers. They are known for the mortadella supreme sandwich, but we didn't get it(lol). We tried their pork belly benny and turkish eggs. The pork belly benny is a biscuit with charcoal hollandaise, black garlic and pearl onion. The black garlic sauce was delicious!! The sour dough bread that came with the turkish eggs was very crunchy and I liked the lamb sausage as well. The iced mocha is is made with dark chocolate, so it wasn't too sweet. The matcha ube had a nice flavor where the ube is stronger at first with the matcha aftertaste.
Came here for a quick stop for coffee and pastries during our trip in Vancouver. I ordered a cortado here and it was honestly so smooth and perfect. The pastries were also good. We got the queen, the cinnamon swirl, a chocolate orange suisse, and a clementine rice pudding crufftin. I loved the rice pudding one and the cinnamon swirl the best. The queen was a bit basic to me, and the chocolate orange suisse was good but I would have liked more of a milk chocolate for the pastry. Otherwsie - the space was beautiful and the service was so wonderful. We were offered waters right when we sat down, and the staff was so attentive when cleaning finished dishes, which at least for me is so uncommon to see at a cafe. Great spot!
Totally get why Nemesis is ranked among the world's best! The cafe is a beautiful red structure and has pretty interiors. It's near Great Northern Way and always busy, so expect a wait -- but it's so worth it. I had the matcha ube latte, Ferrero Rocher Danish, and chocolate orange croissant. The latte was next-level -- the matcha and ube flavors blended perfectly. Pastries were buttery and delicious too. Can't wait to go back and try more!
Best item is the mortadella supreme. Other pastry and croissants are a little lacking- tried the coffee croissant (either not fresh causing it to be not as crispy or it's just made that way). Blue berry danish was also not impressive. Tried both their cookies also not impressive (secret hack: Trader Joe's frozen chocolate chip cookies are really good!) Service - super nice friendly Ambiance - super cute cafe clean modern great vibes
6/5 Wow. Sorry this is gonna be a long review but this place is just WOW. Spent the weekend in Vancouver and I've been wanting to try this place for years, but every visit, when the morning comes, we always opted for a brunch spot or dim sum. Finally gave it a try on our way home and loved it. I always thought it was just a coffee shop. It is so much more. Service - seriously top notch. Woman who took our order walked us through the coffee options, she also took the time to point out the must try pastries, including her personal favorites and ones that might be too rich. While we waited there was a gentleman who came and set us up with cutlery and water. I had no idea it was such a full service establishment. He also would stop in to check on us and refill our waters. Top notch. Ambiance - before you even walk in you're greeted with this red, artistic structure. You can't miss it, immediately catches the eye. Then you walk in to the very bright cafe with a ton of seating and surrounded by windows. Such a nice spot to have a coffee or a meal. Noticed I said meal. Food - AGAIN, I thought this was like a Starbucks. Starbucks could never. I had their ube matcha latte and my fiance had a standard latte. Even with no flavors added her latte was delicious, and my ube matcha was perhaps the best tasting ube beverage I've had. Which is saying something since ube is so overused now days. Here, it tasted like they used actual yams vs a syrup. And the food! I expected just a small pastry selection and some breakfast sandos. Not the case. They have a full breakfast menu. We tried the bodega breakfast sandwich and the pork belly Benedict. The bodega was so good with its chipotle aioli but the star was the CHEESE. Tastes like they grilled it before adding it on, that with the bacon and creamy avacado was chefs kiss. The Benedict was also insane. It had this sauce that triggered a food memory for me that I still can't place, and the pork belly was so tender, and on the side these baby pickled onions that stole the show. We also tried the rice pudding cronut, Pesto Mozzerella pinwheel and the giant cookie from their pastry selection but this review is turning into a novel so I will just say they were all delicious. Don't know why it took so long to try this place but it will be a must stop on every future Vancouver trip!
The best bite I had while visitng Vancouver. One of the friends in our group found this gem on tiktok (for the win). Parking- there's a paid parking garage underground, and you can take the elevator up to main level, and walk over. We arrived, and the line was already formed, but we didn't mind the wait. The structure of the building is unique architecturally. The decor is chic and modern. Lots of seating. But the staff organize the seating. You have to check in with them to put your name on list and they seat you when a table is available. You can't just grab a seat where you want. Service - you order at the front counter near the door and they bring you food. Staff is efficient. Food- per TT, the mortadella sandwhich was the way to go. I ordered that, and it was soo yummy, def recommend. It's a croissant supreme, mortadella (which is pork ops I didnt know that), fried egg, Swiss cheese, mustard aioli. It's an interesting combo, but all of the ingredients work well together. It's ooey gooey. I think everyone really enjoyed the other items they got as well. Good vibes in there.
We found this place on TikTok while doing some research on must stop coffee shops in Vancouver. Social media for the win on this one. I was told this is where we're going and I trusted the process. Pulling up we saw this super cool looking building that was meant to look like an upside down flower. Very unique. The parking option we found was an underground parking garage and the elevator going up put us right outside the shop. If I wasn't already in awe of the exterior, the interior wowed me too. I can't even begin to describe or compare it to something else. Look at the pics to get a good visual. There was a line and the place was packed. We were a group of seven and were nervous we wouldn't get seating. I love how they do not allow people to go hold seats while someone else in your party orders. They also have a 90 minute seating rule that is enforced. We told them our party size and like clockwork, a seat was ready by the time we all ordered. Customer service was great in that regard as well as them giving us great recs. What they are known for is their elevated coffee experience as well as their pastries. Their pastries looked so good but I was in the mood for something more savory. What was recommended was the the Mortadella Supreme. At around 13 bucks for a breakfast sandwich, I was expecting the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had and I will say, it's up there. It came on this beautiful croissant bun, and inside was a good amount of sliced mortadella, a perfectly cooked fried egg, Swiss cheese, and a mustard aioli. The croissant was buttery, flaky and a perfect vessel for all the toppings. The egg was runny like I like it. I'm not a big mustard guy, but the aioli worked so well with this sandwich. It gave a nice tangy flavor that just worked. I tried bites of the Bodega Sando, the Salmon Lox, and the Pork Belly Benny and everything was so delicious too. I washed it down with a Matcha Latte that hit the spot as well. This place was one of my favorite food spots we hit up in Vancouver. They have a few other locations around town as well, but this location looks the coolest. I would come back if in the area.

Not worth it. It's good place to go if you can't make good meals at home. Spent $49.95 for 1 chai $6.25, 1 mocha $6.25, 1 french toast $12.5, 1 Bodega $15 plus 10% tip plus tax = $48.95 - Bodega was greasy, McMuffin at McDonald's is better - French toast had missing egg, it was a very small single piece toast with a maximum 1/2 egg. More of a over sugared dessert than a breakfast item - chai was over milked and under spiced. Western chai at best and east chai at its worst - mocha is same you would get for free at any Range Rover dealership. Try it yourself Staff were top notch. Food came quick and table cleared quick. I love checking out local coffee shops and this place is quite popular for good reason! There was a short line-up and a beautiful case of tasty looking baked goods for us to choose from when we visited on a weekday afternoon. The staff was friendly and nice, and they accommodated our preference to be seated nearby the windowed areas. The interior with the flowing mushroom gills fabric on the ceiling and light birch wood dining areas are so creative and stunning! It's such a cool cafe. We ordered a pourover coffee ($5.50), a latte ($5.60), a tiramisu croissant ($7.50) and a breakfast croissant sandwich (around $12). The drinks were lovely and coffee was roasted well with a nice depth of flavour. The croissant sandwich was so tasty with a slight crunch on the outside wrapped around a soft and savoury bite on the inside. I did a quick check and the menu now has milk bread instead of a croissant with their sandwiches - dang! The tiramisu croissant looked sooo pretty and had a great coffee flavour. The texture was a little disappointing though since it was more dense and chewy rather than light and flakey. Still enjoyed it though! Overall, a happy coffee shop experience!! read more
Nemesis is known for the fanciest croissants in Vancouver and we came to its funky location at Emily Carr. Does the building look like a dessert? Most certainly! The Lemon caramel thyme croissant is to die for. The pear danish is also amazing. Very attentive service too! read more

I always make a point to come here when I visit Vancouver! Great oat milk latte, great pastries, great ambience--it's truly everything I want in a cafe. I usually get dessert-fatigued easily from sweetness, but not in this case. The dough on the pastries is super flaky and makes for the perfect croissant. The latte was also very impressive to me, I couldn't even tell that it was oat milk because the froth was so good. read more
Another amazing Vancouver find! This coffee shop was packed already first thing in the morning. The cashier was super nice and gave us some great pastry recommendations. I'm always on the hunt for the best kourign amann and this one is definitely on the top list. The cruffin and tiramisu croissant were also great options for a nice sweet breakfast pastry. Definitely want to come back for their savory options since they all also looked amazing. Would highly recommend and definitely a fav from this trip! read more

I'm glad I made it here during my visit to Vancouver! This particular location is in a very cool rose-shaped building and it's surprisingly big inside with a wide seating area. I went on a Saturday morning after 10am and it was quite busy with a constant line forming at the door. They have a good system in place where you order at the counter and then they put your name down for a table. Luckily we didn't have to wait too long for ours. We shared a few pastries, which were very photogenic and had fun flavor combos.. not the best ones I've had but yummy nonetheless. I really loved the ube mango matcha though! I'd definitely recommend trying that one. Service was friendly and attentive at all times. It's a cool spot to check out! read more
We stopped here for coffee and cruffins, and it was just lovely. The staff is very friendly, and it was not too busy. The building (inside and out) is beautiful. Food tastes as good as it looks. I've heard they can sell out if cruffin flavours if you go too late, so maybe keep that in mind. The 2 of us shared one but probably could have both had one if we hadn't eaten breakfast already. We had the raspberry pavlova and it was so yummy. Definitely will go back to try the other flavours. read more

Decided to come to this location for the beautiful interior and wasn't disappointed! We arrived around 11am on a Thursday and almost all the seats inside were taken. We ordered the seasonal Ube Matcha Latte and another drink that had tumeric in it (i forgot the name :( ). We also ordered the Tropical (mango) Cruffin. Both the drinks tasted great and unique. My girlfriend I liked cruffin and the mango filling was yummy. The service is great and all the workers are nice. Definitely worth checking out! read more

This place was so yummy! Came here 2 days in a row just for the Mortadella sandwich. It's a must get when coming to Nemisis coffee. Bodega sando was good too, not as good as the mortadella though. read more
Wow this is my second time here.. so tasty! The puff pastry is *chef's kiss* SO flaky and all the pastries here are stunning. This is definitely a busy cafe so I recommend coming during off hours if possible. The cornflake cookie was a bit disappointing. IMO it did not really taste like cornflakes, just sweet. I like cornflakes a lot so this was disappointing. All other pastries were great! I especially liked the pistachio swirl because of the toasted sugar on the edges. Also it's hard to tell but the croissants are generally filled with some sort of flavored cream. I'm not a huge fan of cream so I personally did not like this one as much. The servers are very friendly! They bring water and help you get seated. The experience overall is great and the architecture of the building is also very stunning. read more
Interesting decor. A combination of an onion and a teepee. Was really a suggestion of others that turned out to be alright. In architecture we are expected to give delight and joy. It is very difficult task given the world has already received so much. As this place attempts. After awhile. It is then about the offerings. Pastries were decent. They apparently also offer brunch but we already had lunch. Coffees were alright not spectacular perhaps standard. Would I recommend it? Yes. But probably would not make a habit out of it. I stopped by on a Thursday morning around 11:00 a.m. and there was no lines. My wife and I shared a salmon danish and it was delicious. The pastry was flakey and buttery and the salmon mousse was smooth and the salmon flavor was very prevalent. The small bit of lemon zest on top was a nice touch as well. For $20 for two espresso drinks and a pastry, it's not the cheapest around, but it's a wonderful way to treat yourself. Street parking is available across the street if you're lucky. read more

I had this place on my list for a long time but never made the trip out. Now that I've been, I definitely want to come again soon. Let's just say if I was an Emily Carr student, I'd go broke fast with this amazing coffee shop right there. Free parking is a little out of the way - along Great Northern Way (but was full) or the neighbourhood across the street to the south, about a 5-10 minute walk. First of all, the building is stunning. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Interestingly, the staff seat you and bring your food out to you after you order, unlike most coffee shops. It was a nice day so we opted for an outdoor table. It would be great if they added more trees so there are more shady seats. Service is really good. They bring out water after you order, including sparkling water which is also complimentary. One staff noticed I had already drank it all when he brought by the coffee we ordered, so he offered to refill it. I really wanted to try their cruffins and I heard they have many amazing flavours to choose from. Unfortunately, they were sold out of all but one flavour the day we came, so we settled with the orange honey chamomile cruffin, which was amazing. Then, we got a large chocolate chip cookie to share, which was equally as delicious. If I ever find myself in the area again, I would drop by for a snack and a refreshing glass of sparkling water. read more

Tl;dr delicious pastry's and good coffee I'm not a very discerning coffee drinker but the cortado with oat milk was amazing. The espresso shot flavor really came through. The pastries here are amazing! I got the pumpkin pie cruffin and the cream topping was so light but flavorful. It really paired well with the pastry and pie shell topping. There were some other really interesting flavors I would love to return and try. read more
Went here for brunch. The parking was underground but only for 30min. Lovely architectural design. There was a decent line but it moved fairly quickly. Staff were amazing! Pork Belly Benny -was delicious!!! Highly recommend Salmon Benny - my friend got it and it was good Tiramisu Croissant -probably my favorite Cruffin ferrero rocher - hazelnut taste really good Cruffin Dunkaroos- should have ate this ASAP it was flavorful but hardened by the time we ate it Rocky Road Croissant - not bad read more

Nemesis has the best croissants I've tried in the lower mainland! Their creative flavour combinations, along with consistently high quality, have always impressed me. Also notable are their drinks - they are so special, and I'm still thinking about their hojicha maple latte from a while back. Their service is top-notch: my last visit was during a high-traffic time of day (and week). While we were in line, we were served water, and never felt forgotten, as they made sure to check up on us from time to time. The space at this location is lovely, with high ceilings and great vibes. A great place to catch up with friends! read more
This location is so aesthetic! The outside reminds me of a pomegranate to be honest! The interior is absolutely stunning and it's a great place to work or just to chat with friends. I was kind of indecisive between the kombucha and the elder wood flower apple soda, and the staff was so friendly and let us sample them both. Unfortunately they ran out of kombucha so we got the elderwood flower soda instead. There were limited seatings so I liked the fact that the staff guided us to an open available seat rather than us finding our own. This is so that every customer who's paying gets an seat based on first come first serve basis. And those who are behind us cannot ask their friends to take seats before us. The elderwood flower apple soda was on a smaller side than what I expected. The taste was fantastic though! Overall service was pretty good! There's a staff who was attentive and came and refill our water a few times! I will come back again and also try out the desserts next time! read more
Luxurious croissants sold at Nemesis. First, their outer design is really cool! You can tell it's right next to the Arts university. Then you walk in and there's a load of croissant selections. They're all filled with delicious creams. They also have cruffins (croissant + muffin)! I tried their savoury items for the first time and I had the bodega sandwich but without the meat. The cheese and bread was pretty good but I was a little bit disappointed that they didn't have a lot of vegetarian options. The cruffin was flaky, sugary and filled with raspberry! Quite delicious. I've also had their stuffed croissants before and they're HEAVY. Very delicious but a little too much sometimes. Their coffee is good too. It gets pretty busy on weekends so go earlier if you want to secure a seat! There are time limits on busy days/times. read more

This is a beautiful space for coffee! Located on the campus of Emily Carr University of Art and Design, it is fitting that the architecture for this coffee shop is striking. A beautiful pastry display greets you as you enter and it's really hard to resist not picking one out! They have a variety of roasts good for either espresso or pour over. I went with an Ethiopian bean that was delicious. The complimentary still or sparkling water taps are a nice touch. Watch out for that sparkling water tap which seems to be overpressurized the last few times i was there. As you can imagine, it's pretty popular place to sit and relax so they want to know if you are staying or taking to go. Epic place to caffeine up! read more
This place was amazing! Food and coffee was so good. There are long lines. Only minus was that they only accepts cards and you do not know that until you wait long time in line and get to register. Many tourists have card issues usually get cash to use so would be helpful if cash was accepted. Otherwise, loved this place. read more

@nemesis.coffee has such a good collection of treats, brunch items and drinks. The Vancouver location is so cute but it does have limited seating so go early! They have a very efficient system to serve customers and get the tables ready for the next groups so don't worry too much if you don't see a spot right away. The brunch items may not look big but they were actually so flavourful and filling that it was a very satisfying experience. Good service and nice vibe in there too! I'll definitely want to go back for their pastries next time! Tiramisu croissant sounds amazing!! read more
Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Nemesis is easily one of my favourite coffee shops in the city! They have 2 other locations in Gastown and North Van but this one is definitely the most gorgeous from the inside and out! I've only gone mid-week at the end of the day close to closing so haven't seen any of the lineups others talk about but definitely believe it can get busy based on the fact that it's right next to Emily Carr and a great spot for pastries. As for the service, all the staff are super nice and friendly from the minute you walk in which is refreshing since some very well-known coffee shops have less than enthusiastic staff inside. Now for the main star - the pastries! Based on my couple of times here I've tried quite a few of their items and can say that every single thing has been AMAZING but some of my favourites are the lemon meringue croissant (strong lemon flavour), the chamomile orange honey cruffin (light on the orange flavour and heavier on the honey), and the chocolate hazelnut cookie sandwich. Their pastries aren't cheap (~$6-$7 for the stuffed croissants and cruffins) but they're well worth the price. I haven't had a chance to try their brunch items but definitely look forward to in the future! read more
Loved the specialty coffee they used which left my cortado with a bit of fruity acid while retaining some bold roasty flavors. The banana caramel cruffin I got was baked by Dope Bakehouse and sold in-store. It was also good, though I do wish I got one without the caramel sauce. I did really like the banana cream and the cruffin pastry though. The building exterior is a striking bulb shape in a bright red color that really draws the eye. The interior is more muted with cloth "ribbings" running up towards a central skylight. Reminds me of a pomegranate lol. Honestly a cool place to go even if you aren't super interested in coffee/pastries. It was very crowded for late Friday morning with all the workers from the nearby Samsung building. You have to order at the counter before you can be seated which is nice to keep the crowds from swarming the limited number of tables inside. read more

Came in on a rainy Friday morning. Ambience was nice, pretty cozy and warm. Ordered a matcha latte, americano and a matcha, ube mango croissant. Everything was great! Probably one of the best croissant's I've had. Very tasty and just bursts of flavor. Service was great, one if the staff served us our drinks and some water at the table we sat down in despite ordering to go. I would go back here. read more

The food and drink was amazing! They have seasonal beverages and rotating pour over and espresso menus to choose from. The seasonal Buttered Rum Latte was a holiday delight. The bodega sando with bacon and avocado was delicious and quick to come out. The service was great. You order at the counter and sit down. They bring over your drinks, water cups, food and silverware. The building is a piece of art too and it's a great indoor space with fun music. read more

Came here for an afternoon coffee and a snack and ended up buying a box of goodies to try later! Beautiful pastries taste even better! Had the cranberry croissant and it was just the right balance of tart and sweet! Not too much filling to overwhelm but not skimpy either! I had the Americano which was good but I think what makes this place special is the cute red building it's in and the great staff especially the baristo (?) Tables are sanitized after each visitor and they assist you in finding a table for your group should you want to stay in to enjoy your treats. read more
Solid coffee shop close to Emily Carr University. This has to be the coolest looking coffee shop in town. The red flower looking building is a real stunner. Parking is available along Great Northern Way, as well as the side streets towards the S side. The place sure is busy. The lineup snaked out of the building and wrapped around. The interior is modern and spacious. Interesting pentagon hole in the middle of the ceiling and wavy interior. There is also a large outdoor patio to the W of the building. Staff were friendly and cheerful and helpful. Special mention. The pastries here are quite good I must say. The tiramisu croissant was beautiful. Light and fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness and cream. Coffee was tasty too. Definitely worth checking out if one is into the hipster coffee experience. read more

Really love Nemesis! I would dock off a star for their location, and the difficulty to find convenient parking... but then I would add in another star for how beautiful the venue is! It definitely feels like being in the only art exhibit where you're allowed to eat and drink! And the selection is great! Delicious, and not having to sell my extra kidney priced! I have always loved their croissants! Their cookies! Wow wow wow! Their savory items are good too! I have yet to try their brunch menu! But I hope I can some day! One sunny day in the middle Of a bike ride, we decided to take a coffee break at Nemesis. Having always wanted to pass by but never got the chance with the long line-ups and covid protocols, We finally found an opening and set forth. Amazing architectural design bar none! No other coffee shop in yvr looks like this. Inside looks even better with the nicely designed ceiling. Pastries were superb! We ordered the choco-banana muffin which was cross between a scone and muffin i think. So moist and packed full of flavour. Of course we had to try the classic croissant to see how it measures up to other places. Lastly, the cappuccino to slowly savour the moment. No words. Everything was superior. Had a good experience sitting down and watching the world go by while enjoying an excellent cup of java paired with amazing pastries. Perfect pairings if you will. Service was efficient and quick. Even with a line, things proceeded smoothly. Theres plenty of space Inside and out. Tip: you can't reserve seats. You have to line-up first and inform the staff you want to sit outside or inside. Then, you will be seated. I've noticed staff cleaning and sanitizing tables after every use. A big plus!! For sure i will pass by again when i get the chance. Nemesis Coffee - Great Northern Way, has come out in absolute splendor in a newly opened spot right beside Emily Carr University of Art & Design. This building is funky, eye catching, grandiose, bewildering, spectacular bright & cool like dat!!! The bold bravado design makes its location highly & appropriately positioned right next to a university of art & design. Wow bravo & hands down to the designers & architects!!! Originally supposed to have opened last year but we all know what that bloody bat out of Wuhan did to the entire world! Located in one of my very favourite neighbourhoods, Mount Pleasant, this coffee house will be a dream for IG & Yelpies so come ready to snap away! Of note - get here earlier in the day as they will run out of baked goodies! Many will be familiar with Nemesiss' Gastown location in downtown Vancouver as well as their North Vancouver location @ The Shipyards District! I've popped in there a few times over the last few months & only been able to walk away with just ... coffee! Nemesis offers a variety of coffees, so Yelpies you'll have to experiment amongst yourselves to find out which one is the right taste for you! They sell their pastries fresh daily & once sold out - you're coming back tommorow! So be aware! Also of note - there is some construction taking place close by for the new Broadway Line subway station. However, this will not interrupt you while you're chomping down on a croissant (Nemesis has some of the baddest as in greatest - croissants in town) or sipping your coffee. Locals will love this spot. For those coming in from across town - more of a 'looky loo' type situation, before heading over to vibrant Main street or towards downtown Vancouver. Please note that once university classes resume on a regular basis in September, it will be extremely hard to get in here - so I highly recommend you check out Nemesis now & throughout the summer! Apparently Nemesis which will be open till approximately 4pm daily (check hours online) is working on getting a liquor license & hopes to offer a dinner menu eventually with extended operating hours! Came for quick late afternoon pick-me-up at around 2pm with no line and open patio table. My friend loved her cruffin and latte. My iced americano was 100. Pros: - seating outside is only for patrons with orders and monitored by staff (no table hogging permitted) - service is surprisingly good- water brought to us, plates cleared promptly and periodic check-ins Notes: - didn't notice any washroom facilities, but I'm assuming the university has accessible lavatories - parking on street aplenty for about $1/hr - treat yourself, don't get the drip coffee (it's fairly light compared to other roasts) read more
