Located in Central City, Surrey. Lots of parking. Smaller restaurant that was quite packed when I went. The food was fresh and had good portions. They have tons of options in the menu so they'll have something for whatever you're craving. The dishes were served fairly fast with the exception of the fried silver fish ( which they forgot ) Try the fried silver fish - it's like fish French fries . We went to see a specialist doctor around Surrey hospital, so Neptune is on the way home. As one enter Neptune Restaurant, on the left is the dim sum restaurant and on the right side is Neptune wonton noodle house. There are a lot of set Lunch specials with different choices....we ordered a set of Roast duck w/rice, some Choi sum and chicken corn chowder($20). The other set is Princess chicken with wonton noodles and dunken broth on the side($14) Both chicken and duck tasted fine, the chowder is very good and the wonton noodles(Cantonese) is springy cooked al dente. Service is what one would expect from a fast food type Hong Kong style noodle house. The food was served promptly hot to our table, what more does one want? We wanted to eat a quick meal at the mall and ended up here. There was no wait and plenty of tables available during the weekend lunch hours. We ordered a couple items after looking over the menu. Food arrived after a short wait. I really enjoyed the BBQ duck and noodle soup. Duck was very tasty and made well. This is definitely one of the better BBQ duck options in Surrey. The flat rice noodle dish had some good wok hei and was tasty as well. Beef slices were tender. Food portion size was good. Service was efficient. Overall, it was good meal. read more

Been coming here since it opened a few years ago. Not because it's good, but because it's the only place around for Chinese food. The flavour and service is not like the other Neptune locations. The inside is dark and quiet. There is no heating inside so be prepared to wear a jacket during cold seasons. The restaurant always feels like it's closed. There is usually only one person waiting tables, so trying to flag someone down so you can pay for your bill is always a hassle. Always takes 10 - 15 minutes just waiting at our table till someone finally gives us some attention. Not necessarily the workers fault, but because they do not pay to have more staff. The congee takes quite a long time to make. We usually have to wait 15 minutes for it to be made, where as in Vancouver, you would wait just 5 minutes. The congee is very bland. No flavour or depth. Please note that the congee on the full restaurant side next door is different. That one tastes good, but it still takes the same amount of time for it to be made. Chinese donut always gets served after we're done eating our congee, and it tastes bad. It's stale and bitter because they use too much baking soda. (donut on restaurant side tastes better, but will also arrive after you're finished eating the congee) Prices have gone up year after year here till it seems ridiculous to pay $17 a dish for simple Chinese food. Watch out when getting take out too. Pan fried items melted right through the styrofoam package. Didn't even notice till we reached the bottom. Pretty gross eating melted plastic with our meal. read more

Very disappointing. We were looking forward to trying this restaurant for my son's birthday, but wish we had gone elsewhere. We have never had such bland tasteless Chinese food. The wonton and dumpling tossed noodles came with a bowl of broth which we hoped would add flavor to the unappealing taste of the noodles, but it tasted like water. I have never seen my son not finish a bowl of noodles, but he left them aside and didn't even want to take them home. The 3 wonton and 3 dumplings were ok, but almost indistinguishable. We ordered the Sauteed Shrimp with Cashew Nuts, but they brought us what must be chicken instead. The cut peas were fresh and crunchy and bright green... very nice. But again there was no flavoring or spice added to this dish. The pieces of chicken were pale tasteless lumps, the cashews seemed to be dumped on top from a bag... the whole dish was bland. As well as completely the wrong menu item. Again, the Sliced Beef with Ginger and Pineapple was bland and tasteless. There were about 6 chunks of pineapple in the whole dish, and you had to search out the thin slices of ginger which had fallen to the bottom. Other than actually eating a piece of ginger or pineapple, there was no taste of ginger or pineapple to the dish. I don't know how that is possible... they are flavors so easy to add. The beef was tender but bland. The vegetables were at least 1/3 chunks of raw red onion. The service was good, the tea was very nice, in tall glasses instead of small cups. We were given free bowls of sweet red bean soup for dessert... probably the most tasty part of the meal. We brought home the leftovers of the cashew dish and beef dish, with the hope of adding some flavor from our cupboards, and left the unappetizing tossed noodles. Our curiosity is sated and though we walk by often, will never eat here again. Even cheap takeout is much better. Save your money. You couldn't get more bland and disappointing if you tried. We ordered the rice which was 3.5/5 thanks to MSG overload but a place that's called a wonton house. HOLY SHIZZBALLSSS. Did we come too early?? The broth tasted like dirty sweatpants and sock water. No I never drank that type of water before but you catch my drift. I swear on my underwear, I literally poured 1/4 of the bottle of soy sauce as well as 3 tablespoons of the chilli oil but still no improvement. The only good thing was the noodle. It was $9.99, $8.99 and $8.99 plus rice $16.99. With taxes and tip, almost $60, but last time we spent $60+ was next door and we actually finished the food. This place we just had 3 bites not even and said sayonara.. I wish I could get my money back.. or my tastebuds.. now I'm scared to try any wonton. Being a regular at their Richmond location, one really can't go wrong with this place. The Surrey location doesn't open as late, but this is probably because the area isn't as happening in general. Parking is plentiful in the Surrey Central parking lot. The restaurant can only be accessed from the outside. The entrance is a bit confusing, as it is shared with the adjacent Neptune Seafood Restaurant. Go into the entrance and turn R immediately. Being a newer location, the interior is quite nice. Nice dark wall, and wooden trim. The dumplings with noodle in soup were quite consistent with the Richmond location. In other words, they delivered. It was beautiful. As a bonus, my buddy and I were given free bowls of red bean dessert too. Definitely keeping this place in mind whenever I'm in the area. read more

Had lunch with a friend and our experienced was good. The place is not busy and got seated right away. The Chicken Chopsuey was bland. The Calamari and Yang Chow Fried Rice was good. I love the Richmond location. However, I must say I am very disappointed at both the food and services today at Surrey location.There is wet towel smell once walked in to the restaurant. We ordered sweet and sour pork. Meat is pre-made and dry. The two style fried rice tasted good. The fired rice base is tasty but shrimp are not very fresh. BBQ pork on rice was terrible. The order took over 40 minutes and we can saw from the ordering window, the food came straight from microwave. Not my healthy choice of cooking. Staff services is a mix. Ladies had no smile; however the gentlemen working there provide good service of refilling tea and helping to box left over etc. Store manager was not very friendly either. One order was missed and she would not check on but only comment it's coming. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. Go to next door for dim sum or Boston pizza instead. read more

Great restaurant with pretty decent food. The wontons are good and the fried rice is great. The workers are really friendly and are able to inform you about the items on the menu. This restaurant also offers take out which is a plus. My favourite item is probably the mango pudding. It's one of the best I've had ever! There is a gooey centre that's filled with this really amazing mango sauce and it just adds to how great the pudding is! read more

Been to Neptune Wonton house twice now. I haven't been to many Chinese restaurants in the Surrey area but I like this place. Generally everyone goes to the seafood restaurant so at opening, it's pretty quiet. Food was good and filling. Unfortunately, they no longer serve dim sum here as it is being served at the restaurant next door. I will be coming back here as it is close to where my parents live, no waiting time and food comes much quicker than Neptune Seafood (which takes forever it feels) read more

Wandering the mall on my extremely late lunch break, I was drawn in by an advertised promise of "dim sum happy hour 3 to 5 pm every day." Seated immediately, I was shown a colourful double-sided menu of the standard delectables and easily found my usual fare: siu mai and shrimp dumplings. I noticed they were pricier than my usual go-to place in Delta, and was dismayed to learn "happy hour" did not translate to "discount". Nonetheless I ordered them. That's when the wait began. When I think dim sum, I think fast, quick, ready to eat. Not so: 25 minutes would pass before I saw the steamed meats. She explained they were steamed fresh, which I did not argue. Nor did I argue how delicious and portioned they were. But I would argue that this is not a "dim sum happy hour", not based on this experience. This place is right next to Neptune Seafood Restaurant and I have been there twice and I love their wonton noodle. The best in Surrey and better than their sister branch in Richmond. Cheap, tasty, fresh, clean, good service and convenient location with tons of parking. The wonton shas lots of crunchy prawn and they are bathed in very clean soup - may be a bit salty. I also tried their abalone wonton and it was good too but only a minor upgrade from regular wonton but double the price (due to a small baby abalone). I also tried their steamed gai lan and it was fresh and of good portion (cant really go wrong). It was never full but I may have got better service because of that. Having said thay I hope this place stays because we need a great wonton place in Surrey! read more

Enjoying the Dine Out Vancouver menu that Neptune wonton Noodle is part of this year. I had the seafood soup with bird's nest, the creamy seafood E fu noodles and gelatinous desert. It was good value and the food is delicious. I thought the cream could of been thicker, but otherwise everything was great. read more

A just so so Chinese restaurant. Never order their tossed noodles, because the soda odour is too heavy. However the congees might be good according to the experience I had before in their another shop. Hardly a 3 stars, because I think it's definitely worse than its neighbor White Spot which has only 3 stars. read more
