I have used Johnathan on two occasion. The first time he came to my home to back up data from old computer and install the new computer. Johnathan was very professional and patient while installing our computer approximately a year ago. I recently started having trouble with my home router and WiFi speeds. I have not been this satisfied with a service in a very long time. I had an issue with my computer where it would not boost up. I called several places and they all pretty said "bring it in, we'll look at it for a fee and you can apply those fee's to fix the computer" I called Nerds Fixed IT and he did not even ask to bring it in so he can charge a fee. Instead, he tried to troubleshoot it with me over the phone without even trying to get any money. After we were unsuccessful in getting the computer to boot up, he offered to look at the computer for free if I dropped it off. We agreed on a time and later that day, he called me back saying that he noticed that one of his appointment is within the same area where I lived and offered to come to me for no charge!! We actually were able to boot up the computer and even fixed another issue I had. His service was amazing and will definitely be coming back for all my computer needs. What can I say, Jonathan is one honest, smart and great person, very knowledgeable and very professional. I used to work in IT/computer repair five years ago, so I normally can figure out how to fix my own machines. But sometimes I'm dealt with issues that I don't feel qualified to handle, and that's what happened with my laptop. My laptop was turning off after booting, and the fan was constantly being loud (it's a SSD so there shouldn't be any noise at all). I tried to fix it myself but the way the fan was connected to the heat sink made me uncomfortable; and it was out of warranty for both the manufacturer (Toshiba) and the seller's extended warranty I purchased (Best Buy). Both company's repair services were incorrigibly high, so I turned to the internet when I came upon Nerds Fixed IT. At first I wasn't sure how Jonathan could possibly have all 5-star reviews; thankfully I contacted him and found out exactly why. Jon was easily accessible by email, and was upfront about his services and prices. Speaking of prices, they are extremely reasonable; for slightly more than the amount of money Toshiba would charge me JUST TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM Jon performed the service and ordered the appropriate part (a fan and heat sink) to fix it. He was also quick; I dropped off the computer Thursday afternoon and picked up the following Tuesday, working like it was like new again! Pretty sure that would have been the shipping time for any other service to their far-off repair centers. Jon's local location made the ordeal even easier! And as easy as my issue was resolved, I didn't even take advantage of all the other services Jon offers, like remote servicing or letting him pick up and drop off the item. If only most other businesses were this well run and customer friendly.
