I just left this place and will not go back. I took my daughter a few months ago for pedicures and they were fine. But today I was going in for a gel manicure that I had an appointment for and they made me wait. I expressed my frustration with having to wait-which is what I wanted an appointment to avoid. I asked the difference between gel and dip and the lady seemed annoyed with me for asking questions. She started to do gel but then said that my shorter nails might have a problem with the gel polish sticking to them so the dip would be better. So I switched to the dip which she convinced me to get tips on them. They are way too long. The nails are uneven, and I told her multiple times that the glue was stuck to my fingers and asked her to fix it. She insisted it wasn't stuck to my fingers that I'm just not used to having tips. I then pulled my skin away from the nail and showed her the glue. I normally would've told her to fix the crooked nails and shorten them more but she made me feel so uncomfortable every time I asked her to do something that I just wanted to leave. Just a horribly rude lady which left a very bad taste in my mouth. I spent $55 on nails that I do not like so I won't be going back. I know, first world problems, but hopefully I help someone else decide not to go here. Or maybe this staff will read this and change the way she deals with customers. read more

This place is terrible with setting/honoring appointments and time management. The first time I went here with my mom she had set an appointment for the both of us but when we arrived they tried telling us that they had my mom down but not me but that they would see me anyways because they had a little free time, we tried explaining to them that maybe they made a mistake since we had made an appt for both but it was ok since they still saw me. Well just this past Thursday 9/5/19 my mom called again making sure to tell them that we needed 2 fills with 1 specific manicurist and 2 pedicures with one of the other gals and told them we wanted an appt the following day if they had time. They gave us an appt for the next day at 10:45am and my mom double checked before hanging up that they had us for the 2 fills and 2 pedicures. We arrived on Friday morning and first they had us wait til they got done with their current customers, sure no problem! We waited maybe 15 mins then they sat us down, my mom for a pedi and I sat down for my fill. While sitting there the receptionist again approached me like the previous time and told me that they only had 1 fill written down for my mom and 2 pedicures and they didn't have my name in the book. I explained to her like the previous time that my mom made it a point to call the day before and asked for 2 fills and 2 pedicures and even double checked that they had the correct info down before hanging up, the receptionist just walked away and didn't say anything else. Well towards the end of my fill the manicurist working on me complained that her next customer was there already and she didn't know what was going on or what she was going to do cuz she still had to do my moms nails. She asked me if I could talk to my mom and explain the situation and told us we could leave and go back later to finish up our nails. I went and explained to my mom and she got upset and we went to try to talk to the manicurist and receptionist and told them that we should have our nails finished first before they move on because it was not our faults that they didn't write down our correct appointment information when we called the day before. At that point I still hadn't gotten my pedicure done and the lady that we had requested for pedicure had finished my moms and moved on to two new customers so she couldn't work on mine and the manicurist who did my fill was asking my mom to go back later because her customer was there (as if we are not also customers?!) and she didn't just ask us to wait til she was done with the new customer but asked us to actually leave and go back after 4pm(it was about 11:50 at the time). To top it all off these people acted as though we were at fault and were not willing to accept any responsibility for their mistake, they acted as though we were less important than the other customer who had walked in- last I checked our money has the same value as anyone else's! It was the worst experience we've ever had at a nail salon. They lost 4 customers due to this experience, we don't feel that we are more important than anyone else but we will also not be made to feel as though we are less important- it was only fair that they would have asked the other customer to wait til they were done with us or had they given themselves enough time in between appts maybe they could have called her ahead of time and asked her to come in just a little later seeing as how we had our appt earlier and were there and waited and the screw up was on their end, not ours. And the fact that this similar issue happened twice in a row was ridiculous! read more

I moved to Beaumont a few months ago and this has become my new go to place for pedicures. I always make an appointment so I don't have to wait too long. The service is always great. They have a good selection of pedicures. They also have a stamp card if you pay cash. Once you collect ten stamps, you get a discount off your next service. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is, even though I make appointments, I sometimes have to wait 10-15 minutes after my appointment time before they take me. It doesn't always happen, but it's happened more than once. Other than that, great spot! read more

As word has gotten out and business has gotten busier and busier, Amy has upheld her high standards in hiring new staff. Everyone is friendly, professional and competent. You won't be disappointed with any of her staff. With my busy schedule, it's always a nice little break to come here regularly and get my dip powder and my pedicures. I always make an appointment but they do take walk-ins. In other nail salons appointments are meaningless. Here I never wait more than a few minutes for my appointment. Came in for a full set and pedicure. The pedicure was okay but my full set, I felt was rushed. Right before the technician started on my nails she looked at me and asked me if i had a tip for her because she really needed it. I always tip regaurdless of the work because I get it, but it was a huge turn off. Then when my set was done it was crappy. I had a bunch of acrylic under my nails and the acrylic or polish was uneven so my nails had uneven lumps. After the weekend was over I took them off. First off, I would say I was greeted right away! Most nail salons I go to, they just stare at me until I say something. I only had to wait 10 minutes which is really good considering everyone was busy w/ a client & I didn't even schedule an appointment. I did not mind the wait one bit. As I was waiting, I was admiring how clean & cute the salon was; the kid chairs had princesses & the floor did not have any nails on the ground. I was called because it was my turn & Mindy was my nail tech. She was very professional & also did not make my experience awkward. I have gotten my nails done since I was 15 and this is by far the WORST nail service I have ever gotten . Whenever I'm washing dishes or showering the acrylic actually moves . I've never ever had that happen . I have to smooth out my nail for it not to look like it has lumps . Yes actual lumps . Not 1 but 3 of my nails have missing acrylic pieces on the side of my nails . It's only been a week since I've had them and the entire nails is chipping off , not the polish , the actual nail . You're wasting your money getting a full set done here because now I have to take these off and do them again at another salon. When I arrived I was immediately seated . She put the nail on, put the powder on and then said "is it ok if you can wait for 20-25 for someone to finish you up my 10am just arrived and she had an appointment " like what the hell no !! You finish what you started or next time don't take someone in when your appointment is just walking in , I got here first finish my nails . The woman next to me then said it was ok to finish me up and that it was ok . I'm now feeling like I'm the one that's in the way and I should give up my spot even though I got their first . Sooooo unprofessional!!! I had my daughter their also getting her mani peDi done and she's only a toddler so it's not like she's going to want to wait an extra 20min just sitting there waiting for the manicurist to be done with her 10 am appointment then finish me up . Went in for a wax while I was in the area. I had to call in to make an appt and luckily they were able to accommodate me same day. The wax was quick and done very well, no stray hairs left.
