I came to this shop because Discount Tire broke a stud while changing my tire. Discount pays for this repair only through Network. This will be the only reason I ever come back to this shop. I have been here in the past for repairs. Customer service is terrible and front desk is very unorganized. The first two repairs I had at this shop were fine. I came back for a air conditioning problem. Network told me that I needed a new air compressor at $1500. I didn't have the money at the time and chose to hold off on the repair. I ended up going to another shop for a second opinion and estimate. The other shop found the compressor was perfectly fine it was a bad seal on the compressor. I paid under a $100 for part and labor, I also was taken into the bay, shown and explained the problem. Network is a joke and embarrassment to the honest automotive shops. read more

I've been going here off an on since 2004, and have had pleasant experiences. It seems like the same guys since the first time I went, which to me tells me they have experience and a loyalty to their company and customers. They are always nice to me, and try to explain what's going on with my car as well as present me with options for repair. They are also great about trying to save me money by doing things like contacting manufacturer's about warranties, offering me packaged deals that cover what i wanted anyways, and providing discounts. One time I went for a package deal that was actually cheaper than the individual things i needed done for my 60,000 mile checkup. Part of the package included new filters, but since I had just switched them out myself and they were still in practically new condition. They went ahead and gave me the new filters, saying that I didn't need new ones, but i paid for them. I really appreciated this even if they only cost a few bucks each. Another time, it was slightly unfortunate in that it took a very long for them to get to my car and complete all the repairs/order parts etc. I waited patiently and didn't complain and they were very grateful. They kept thanking me for my patience and apologizing for the wait. When the bill came they had given me every special and discount available including an overall discount on the bottom line for the wait. It's not often that companies will give you anything without you having to bitch. While the wait was unfortunate, they did what they could to make it an overall good customer service experience. This review is long overdue. For quick readers, yes go to network. For detail-oriented ladies and gents here is the story. To start Network Automotive has always been nice to visit with quality people. I've been to three locations since 2008 for regular maintenance on various vehicles that I've owned. Last year I realized how lucky I am to have a shop like them in my corner... It was 114 degrees outside and I had just left the doctors office with the flu. I was so stressed and then my engine started overheating. I pulled over, but not fast enough. I had to get my 2001 Toyota Tacoma with just over 185,000 miles on towed to the garage. It was after hours, but they have a drop off box and I left a voicemail. Even though I asked a million questions they treated me with kindness and integrity. Turned out the water pump failed, the head gasket cracked and replacing or rebuilding the engine if I wanted to keep the truck were my options. They helped me pick the best option for me, and when I decided I wanted to keep the truck they got me a brand new engine at a fair price. It was an investment worth doing. It's been about 8 months since my engine swap and my truck is running beautifully. They are the kind of shop that invites you to look at the work that they have done to your vehicle, and if you have a question they explain in an educational way... The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is I think if they could've texted me pictures of what they were working on or digitally sent a report to me it would have been faster for me to understand what they meant when naming different parts, but I adore Network Automotive and won't go anywhere else. My 2003 Ford F-150 has the infamous back suicide doors. First one side would not open then the other side did the same. After looking at YT videos decided it would take me a few days to do myself so I took it in to Tom at Network Automotive in Gilbert. Their assessment found the two latches on both rear doors were stuck. The quote was double what I had expected but having no choice needed the truck asap, gave ok. After replacing four latches with the cables and hardware and $1075 later out doors are opening again with one hiccup. The passenger side sticks just a little. Tom says give it a week for door to settle in and if still sticking bring it back we will warranty out and replace with another new latch. This is reason I did not give 4 stars. Tom was very helpful and we are ok with paying the bill. We have brought other vehicles here. I was surprised they managed to squeeze us in with short notice. They charged me for an alignment but didn't do any actual aligning. I had just replaced all of my suspension and steering with new parts then brought it to them to align. They kept it for an hour and called me to tell me it was done, when i arrived i looked over the truck. None of the jam nuts to adjust the steering or axle alignment had been touched and i brought it to their attention because they claimed to have adjusted the toe in. I told them that's impossible because none of the torque stripe was broken from when i assembled everything. They then still claimed to have adjusted it and showed me the print and sited a negligible amount of change (like shake the truck and reprint). Then they said they adjusted my steering wheel center which they did do and i could tell because the wheel was now perfectly center and the torque stripe was broken on those tie rod ends. They did give me a $20 discount on a $90 service after i called them out on the alignment HOWEVER, when they adjusted the tie rod ends they allowed the tie rods to roll over to their max angle wich causes premature wear and can also cause them to break off-road when the vehicle articulates. They also didn't adjust the track bar so the only thing they adjusted was done sloppily and incorrectly since they didn't also adjust the track bar. I ended up doing the alignment in my driveway and redoing the only thing they did. Previously i brought my other car in and they aligned the steering but not the camber. When i asked why they claimed because it wasn't adjustable, i explained how to adjust it and they replied that it was within spec. Basically i ended up doing that myself as well because it wasn't as easy as turning an eccentric bolt. This place used to be great but i hear they changed owners, my last two experiences will be my last ever. Lesson learned, they no longer want to do the work so i won't be bringing them any more work. I wouldn't recommend this shop for ANY vehicle services and if you look at recent reviews they've gone way down hill and are just existing off an old name. read more

Have been going to Network auto for all my alignments since 2002 . They have always been awesome. And stood by their work. Well no longer to my surprise. Had my 2006 Silverado aligned after I completely rebuilt and replaced front end steering components. When I left I noticed a pull to the right. Parked truck until I could take it back. They now say " they do not warranty their work on "modified trucks" and wanted me to pay another $116 to do another alignment? Well ...no more support from me or any further recommendations, which I have done hundreds of times. Pathetic support and very disappointed Gilbert Network Automotive. read more

Network is where I take my car. I had an alignment and it only took about 45 minutes.Just had my ac recharged, works like new. This only took about 45 minutes. I only go to the dealer if I have to. I'm very pleased with network Automotive Service Center. I recommend them to my friends I went to network to have them evaluate a part that was hanging down underneath.In a few few minutes they fixed the problem and returned my car.Network Automotive Service Center understands the meaning of word of mouth and good will. As others have mentioned, I took my vehicle in for an alignment because Discount Tire suggested them. They said they could not do an alignment because the rack and pinion bushings were bad. I told Network Automotive I had the rack and pinion replaced less than a year ago from another shop. Network said they wouldn't align my truck unless I paid for the new bushings. They said the bushings are a common wear item that they keep on the shelf. I told them I would take my truck back to the shop that installed the new rack and pinion because it was still under warranty since it was less than a year ago that it was replaced. The mechanic from the other shop looked at my rack and pinion and said there is nothing wrong with my bushings. The bushings are still in great shape and he aligned my truck while it was there. I let Discount Tire know of my experience. I can not recommend this place after that experience. read more

Network worked on my van's cooling system. it was towed to the shop. My van already had a broken visor but I had rigged it to stay up. Apparently either during the tow or after it arrived at the shop the visor was knocked down so it was dangling by wires. Someone at Network disconnected it and the hardware which would have been fine, nice of them actually, except they broke the bracket on the other end. I pointed it out and asked them to replace it. I was told it came in that way. I explained no it did not and while I appreciate them thinking it was a nice thing to do to remove the visor, it was not since they broke the bracket. The guy was giving me a bad attitude about it and said fine they would. This was months ago, I haven't heard a peep from them. Maybe their word doesn't mean anything to them? On top of this, I was already hesitant to bring my van there because they replaced my husband's AC in his Ford Escape (remember us as customers now???) and he had to bring it back 2 additional times for them to get it right. The last time they did not charge us (as they shouldn't) because they admitted they overlooked what the real issue was the second time it was in. A good friend of ours recommended Network, and we trust him. However Network has NOT done right by us. I've waited over 3 months now for them to give a damn about fixing the bracket on my van and they simply don't care. So my review will go here and on Facebook. Douglas, Derrik and the crew are amazing. I have been to many many mechanics in Arizona growing up here. They are very up front on what needs to be done and what can wait. They take the time to talk to you and told me way more than the other mechanics in Scottsdale did. They are also cheaper than any other shop I had taken my Mercedes c300 or Lincoln to. A few weeks ago I took my car into Network Automotive to get an alignment. I was told that they could not do the alignment, that the control arm bushings needed replaced as both sides were cracking and ripped. The total repair cost was almost $600.00. This seemed very strange to me as my mechanic has recently checked the car. I took my car back to the mechanic who looked again, and said that the bushings definitely did not need replaced. I researched several shops to take a truck I have owned for twenty years to have some work done on it. It should have been pretty routine. I received the quote over the phone and was shocked. I had them take care of a single leak so it was safe to drive elsewhere. While they had it, they took it for a test drive and a wheel that they had taken off to look at the brakes came off WHILE they were driving it and damaged the bed and brake components. Came in for an alignment, was referred by Discount Tire after having all four tires replaced. The front passenger was balding faster than the rest so they recommend I come here for an alignment. 30 days later my front drivers side tire is almost completely bald. (All four tires were brand new) They gave me an estimate on other recommended maintenance, however the estimate did not mention anything about suspension or anything else being worn that would cause further tire wear. They suggested perhaps my tire pressure could be causing this however I have not gotten any indicators that anything is wrong with the air pressure on my brand new tires. I expect them to make this right however reading other reviews I see this is a common problem, people coming in for simple alignments and leaving feeling "screwed", so my hopes are not high. Would recommend you avoid this place. We sat inside and waited for the service to be done and overheard them say that their alignment computer wasn't even working but we were not notified of this before they started the service. Also, you will over hear them lying to customers about service times. Example: A man was getting his truck worked on and they called to tell him they had to wait for parts because they needed to replace some "tube" and they would have to hold his truck for another day, but I heard the two men at the counter say all the "Master Technician" had to do was an alignment and oil change and it would be finished. The real problem was the "Master Technician" was off in two hours and was slowing down in preparation as he had the next day off so he didn't want to finish and leave the job for another "Master Technician" to finish the next day. They joked and laughed "of course tomorrow is his day off too so it won't be his problem" instead of encouraging him to finish what he started and not inconvenience a customer. read more

Took car in for a simple alignment because discount tire gave me a coupon. I have a very reliable mechanic that had just inspected my car 1 month ago. While things are not brand new, there are certainly no issues requiring major components to be replaced. I was told they could not do the alignment because there were several components needing replacement. Their estimate to replace was in excess of $2000. Drove directly over to my mechanic who assured me that these items did not need to be replaced. Business practices like these are why it is so had to trust mechanics these days. All I can say is WOW and I definitely won't be using these guys or the discount tire guy that highly recommended them. Including a rebuild of the rear differential ..Nick Marcell and his team checked it out ..found it needed a rear hub assembly and a new control Arm up front .. Total plus tax $1,038.. These guys are the type of company that 'baits and switches'. My mechanic had just done a complete work over of the car for needed repairs before we take the car to FL. The front bushings would EVENTUALLY need to be replaced, but for now all we needed was an alignment. Once we got to FL, my grandson who we are giving the car, could have his mechanic friends fix for cost. I got a call. From these guys I was told that it needed new bushings and wheel bearings, nwhhich I already knew. He quoted me about $150 in parts and an astronomical $485 for labor. Of course, I told him all I wanted was the alignment and that I would get the work completed later. These idiots decided to PUNISH me for not accepting their cost of repairs by NOT DOING the alignment. I took the car here,about 20 miles from home, because thney were recommended by Discount tire. The cos t in gas alone to drop the car off was about $20, plus they wasted my entire Saturday and DID NOTHING! There is NO REASON for them to have not done the alignment asked for. Once we get to FL, it could be taken care of. BEWARE of these egomaniacs. Their costs are astronomical and they try to bully you into having the work done, or they do nothing at all. Of course, I will find somewhere else to get the alignment, but you REALLY need to pass on this shop. In my opinion, they are not honest. read more

This place is wonderful! They are honest and never offer repairs that aren't needed. They give you a time frame so you can plan ahead and budget for it. I take my car there for irregular repairs but also general maintenance and I've found they are usually quicker than they estimate. If they tell you it will take about 2 hours, they'll call sooner & tell you your car is done. I love that! They do all the same repairs as the Toyota dealership I was originally taking my car to but for much less money and hassle. I highly recommend Network Automotive. read more

I took my car to them for an estimate of damage that I did to the left side. After looking at it and showing me exactly what it needed and nothing more gave me my quote, I told them that I couldn't afford the job and had to take it someplace else that had in house financing and they completely understood and was happy to help. The prices were very reasonable and if I had the money these guys would definitely get my business. They are a very honest shop and don't pressure you in getting work that you need done and don't try to up sell you for stuff you don't need at the time. I had a problem with my wheel spokes they replaced them for me and it was done quickly and at a fair price. On a return visit a couple years later I needed a front end alignment.
