Beyond that, they did a test drive and determined sources of noises for further work as I requested. An honest and accurate advisory was provided to expect other small leaks from specific locations due to the high mileage of the car. This shop provides complete, honest, high quality repair and maintenance. They provide valuable information for planning ahead to be able to sustain older cars as they grow in value with increasingly inflated prices of new cars. Highly recommend these guys, very responsive, explained what needed to be fixed and what wasn't as urgent, very good scheduling in that I never had to wait too long for an appointment, and almost always had my truck out of the shop the same day or at most a day later. Also very reasonable pricing. The best mechanic experience I've ever had! I broke a bolt off of my ignition coil and Geramey said that they could take a look at it. When I got to the shop everyone was so nice! Talked story with Geramey while Nick took a look at the problem. Nick fixed it in 10 minutes! And he also put on a replacement bolt for me. The best part? They didn't charge me, even after I offered to at least buy them lunch or give them a $20. Hands down the best auto shop on the island. Will not go anywhere else. read more

Nick was very helpful through the whole process. I found out about his shop here on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. I needed a system diagnosis (?) and mentioned the idle problem with my car. He told me to drop it off in the morning and they'll take a look at it. After they were done he sent some pictures detailing the damage of another problem they found that required immediate attention. He explained to me how it would affect my car if it wasn't handled sooner than later and gave me an estimate for the job. Being in customer service myself, I truly appreciate their superlative communication about everything that needed to be done to my Prius. I truly felt like a valued customer, rather than just another job. They did a great, timely, service of my car and explained that the oil for my Prius was a special type that didn't qualify for discounted coupons - absolutely no problem. When you're searching for a true Automotive Master Technician, come to Nick and the guys at Neue Auto. A normal technician knows maintenance, engines, diagnostics, and procedures. A Master knows all of the above PLUS customer service. I took my car to Nick for a condenser and radiator repair and even though his shop was busy, which is a good sign of a good shop; he still took me in. Not only did he repair those two items, he even went out of his way to diagnose other leaks in my A/C system and drop my car off! I mean, who does that now a days?!? I'll be sending my friends and family to Neue Auto because a good mechanic is worth his weight in gold, and bro you're 24K 100%. P.S. a Master Tech also fixes the stigma that technicians receive. I had trouble with A/C system. It was blowing hot air (65F), they evacuate old AC gas and recharge new gas correctly. Then it's blowing cold air (55F)They are real repair guys. I highly recommend this cool shop to everyone. read more

If I could give them 6/5 stars, I would! I was scoping out various different auto shops and Neue Auto peaked my interest with the reviews. I recently messaged Neue Auto over Yelp on Wednesday, April 26th about a power steering issue I been having for well over a year now. I messaged them at 5:01 PM and Nick messaged me back 18 minutes later (they weren't kidding about the 20 minute response rate). Nick told me that their next available slot would be Friday, April 28th and decided that would definitely work out for me. Let it also be known that Nick carried this conversation on well after they closed (talk about great service). I dropped my car off on Friday, where the receptionist named Daven (I believe) made me feel welcomed and assisted me on the drop off day. He informed me that they were closed on the weekend so my car would be sitting in the shop until they worked on it early on in the week (projected Monday or Tuesday completion). To top it off, Daven also sent me an Uber ride home for my convenience!!! (Not gonna lie, I felt pampered haha) I would receive calls from Nick and Kaleo for updates on my car. They also informed me that my engine was leaking and that they would be able to fix that as well. After receiving the quote for $$$, you would have to be insane not to be grateful for their fair pricing. ***Since I brought in one of the parts required to be fixed, it was taken out of the quote entirely. Picked up my car today (Tuesday, May 2nd) and let me just say that they exceeded my expectations. Overall, I had an amazing experience with Neue Auto and will definitely return if I encounter any other issues. read more

Every time I come here it is easy to get an appointment within a week of contacting them. I had to come a few times to get estimates. Even after waiting months to finally be able to pay to get my car fixed, they remembered me and were super helpful. They gave me updates, made sure I had a ride home while they worked on my car, and all for a reasonable price. Its hard to find someone who is knowledgeable on hybrid cars since I had bad experiences with other shops in the past. They did a job for me $250 less than an earlier quote from a different shop run by different guys. Their location is in the cut - small starter type garage at the end of a busy driveway with junkalunkaz on both sides - but the tow truck fit, so she go. I woulda gave em 5 stars, but... Only thing is, I noticed a couple small fingerprint smudges on my steering wheel and inside car door when I was driving home. You know how it is, mechanics have the black hands from grinding hard, so you don't have to. Came off easy with a wipe. But still I highly recommend them, and will go back again next time.
