I came for a light breakfast and wasn't too disappointed. Originally, I was just going to grab a smoothie but they have a lunch deal where you can pick a sandwich and juice item for $15. I got their panini and fat burner juice. Panini was ok for its price. I wasn't expecting the extra little fruit and the carrots/jalapeños with the panini which was nice. The fresh carrots/jalapeños were a nice touch with the panini especially if you're eating it with no sauce. The juice wasn't too bad either, not my favorite, but I was looking for something healthy so. I think without their deal, their prices are somewhat overpriced for me. Service is fast paced and ambiance is small. The parking is a bit inconvenient only because you only have one entrance/exit. Overall, it was just ok for me; it was a fast and easy experience if you're short on time.

Wifey and I were looking for something healthy and found this spot in Downey. We ordered ahead of time and drove from Bellflower to pickup. I was greeted right as I walked in, and our order was ready to go. They have an extensive menu, including açaí bowls, smoothies, oatmeal, etc. I orders the grilled panini with turkey, Wifey had the Spinach Wrap with tuna. Both sandwiches come with a small side of fruit, and sliced jalapeños & carrots. My sandwich was delicious, the chipotle on the panini added a great touch. I do with the portion size was just a bit bigger for the price. I look forward to coming back and trying a smoothie in the future.

Wow this exactly what Jamba wishes they were !!! Healthy smoothies & healthy food . I'm big on smoothies and this spot has the perfect healthy smoothies from the protein ones to fruit ones & a variety of dairy options to choose from . I got myself a chocolate pb smoothie with extra protein , it was super good. The staff here was as well super nice & welcoming . I believe this maybe Mexican owned as many of their items they sold in store you can only find in Mexico , so I thought that was super cool. Theyre located in a small plaza with parking.

Healthy living can be challenging, but Nevera Juice Bar in Downey makes it much more delicious. I recently checked them out, and let me tell you, I was blown away. Jamba Juice or Movita can never! From the moment I walked in, I could smell the vibrant fruits and veggies being prepped. Everything felt clean and inviting, and the staff was friendly. She suggested I download their app for points and get one of my drinks for free. It is not limited to juice, though. Nevera offers healthy and delicious options, including smoothies, acai bowls, and hearty meals. I'll be going back. I highly recommend checking out Nevera Juice Bar. It's the perfect place to fuel your body and taste buds with something good for you. Their parking tends to get busy during peak hours and expect to wait a bit as everything is freshly made.

*** "Inspiring you to live healthy." *** Before my last whole blood donation on 12/24/21, I was really slacking and hadn't bought very many groceries because... well, who cares. The point is I needed some green vitamins. I had never been to this small business. Nevera Juice Bar opens early. I was stoked to learn of this. Their shop is kind of tucked away out of sight on Paramount Boulevard in Downey, CA. The parking lot is really small and there's only one way in and one way out. Some street parking is available. I highly recommend joining their rewards program. It's free. Just add your phone number after you use a debit or credit card. Your card number will be saved to their file, FYI. Rewards in a nutshell: "Earn 1 point for every $1 spent. $5 off with every 50 points. 20 points bonus when you signup. Free regular juice or smoothie when you add your birthdate to your profile." The staff treats you like family and prepares drinks very quickly. It was really clean and tidy inside. The small indoor dining area was not set up. There was no outdoor dining tables that I saw. It's best to grab a sandwich or pita bowl to go. The "Green Blend" (medium size only offered for $6.99) was very refreshing and actually tasted really good. It was sweetened with agave. Their franchise is expanding to Whittier in January 2022. I can't wait to go back to try more! I stopped in yesterday after finding Nevera on Yelp. Great find! I agree with Christiaan L. It was also my first time coming here and Salvador was very helpful. I ordered the "meltdown" yesterday - delicious. Today I ordered the green smoothie and asked them to add protein and fat burner. Another delicious smoothie. Salvador was very patient with me on the phone as I asked him for suggestions on a green smoothie that would be filling for a few hours. When I came in my smoothie was ready, and Salvador gave me some more helpful information. I'm very happy to have found a non big-chain smoothie place that offers a good variety of choices from juices to smoothies to some food options. Will continue to visit while I'm in town for work. This place deserves more than 5 stars! Their customer service is excellent. The moment I walked in the guy behind the counter greeted me with a hello and a friendly smile. I asked him what green juices they had and he explained to me that although it wasn't on the menu,but they did make a green juice, and he explained to me everything that was in it. While he made the juice I went up to the cash register and was greeted by Salvador, it seemed like he might be the manager or owner of the place. He was very friendly. When I mentioned it was my first time he welcomed me and gave me a stamp card. He went over the whole menu with me and made some recommendations. I will definitely come back here! They have reasonable prices and so many healthy options! read more

I have NO complaints about this place. When I'm craving a nice, fresh, natural drink or when I feel I need a veggie boost, I head on over there. My favorite drink is the vampiro. I like to add a shot of ginger to almost everything It's supposed to be pretty good for you. Their service is great and pretty quick. Keep in mind though, that they do have to make your juice freshly pressed. read more

This is my favorite juice bar. They've got everything to make the perfect juice or smoothie. I get my lunchtime smoothie here almost every day. They'll gladly custom make whatever you want. All the employees are friendly, accommodating and efficient. Glad this place is close to my work. read more

I really like this place. The staff is friendly. The juices are great; makes you feel so good after. They have a buy one get one half off for juices and smoothies Monday thru Friday 5pm to 7pm( happy hour). Sometimes you have to remember to mention happy hour because the worker forgets. read more

Right across the street from AltaMed in a small plaza you have to turn quick or you can miss the place. Right when walking in you get a nice smell of mixed juices. Service was fast even with all my million questions I always have when trying out a new place. The only thing I didn't like is that I really wanted to try out there Açai bowl they were out so I ended up subbing for the pitaya bowl. I'm allergic to almonds and the granola they add in is mixed with almonds already so he suggested adding oats instead. Over all everything was good, just wished they had almond free granola for all us EpiPen users lol. read more

This is my first time here and let me just say that I'm impressed. I'm really trying to live a healthier lifestyle so after working out I decided to look on Yelp for a juice bar. Neverá just bar came up and out of all the places this place looked very appealing. I drove about 15 minutes from where I was at and I must say it really was worth the drive. The juice (detox-digestion) is just perfect, not one ingredient over powers the juice. As for the salad, it looks so clean and it taste so yummy, I'm trying to stay away from it since I bought it for lunch, hopeful it makes it to 12pm. read more

Wow! Smoothies are delicious. I've tried the "meal replacement" and it definitely leaves you feeling refreshed and satisfied. in my opinion this is one of the most underrated smoothie place in Downey California. they have a variety of smoothies ranging from high proteins to low carb that are perfect for anyone. not only beneficial to your health, their smoothies taste amazing and so do their sandwiches and açai bowls which I tried just the other day. I've been here twice already, for the 30-30 juice that i simply love! The customer service is great here! They're always so friendly and give a smile when being helped. The only two concerns I would have would be more staffing and ac inside. As it gets really hot while waiting 15 mins for your order. Other than that. It's always busy when I come and they manage to help everyone as soon as they can. read more

Wow this place is amazing, their juices and smoothies are made with good quality fruits and veggies which are all stored in separate containers in their huge fridge behind the counter. I opted for a create your own juice and my bf ordered a smoothie made his own his as well. One sip in and we looked at each other in amazement. Yup we were impressed, Nevera is definitely one of the better juice places we've been too and was worth the drive :) also the ladies working were very friendly, informative, and patient which is a big bonus for me. I will definitely be back! and will try to make it for their BOGO 1/2 off during 7-8AM!! I forgot to mention most of their drinks are all $5 for one size only which is a large!! If you're in downey and want something healthy....because healthy gets a bit tough. Sometimes....all the time...I love coming to this location! Fresh made juices and smoothies. If you're a hardcore health freak they have some super healthy options. And by that I mean those bitter(ish) BUT beneficial beverages. Everytime I've come here it's been packed with people but for good reason. The service is speedy so not too much of a wait. The prices are great too. Even if you just want some fresh orange juice. Give this place a shot. read more

I went there today for the first time. It was......amazing. I got strawberry banana and my brother gor pineapple and mango smoothies. Both were delicious. $4.99 and its a good size. The guy at the cash register was super polite and informed about yhe card to get my 10th free. Awesome!! I will be reachinv that amount soon. I cant wait to try the other items on their menu. I preach this place like i was on their payroll haha, but they sell themselves. I have put on so many people to this place. So many options, lots of bottle/cans and a rotating draft menu that carries more than IPAs, nothing wrong with IPAs, i drink them but other types exist. I can always find my funky Sours on tap, and did i mention delicious fresh samiches? Dayum son! Hope nothing but good luck for them, they are a staple in Downey's DNA.

I look around the store it very nice with baseball and other sports items in the store. The sandwich were really then I saw balaclava for dessert. The turkey and cheese was very good on wheat bread I enjoy but they also have different kind of bread to choice and other items you add to your sandwich and baklava was really good I realty like it very much. When I told Matthew at the counter it was really important the one drink be as sugar free as possible due to my friend being diabetic, he warned us there was sugar in the foam, but he would go as light as possible. The sad part was my coworker also called and assisted her right away. This is the 2nd time they've keeped me on hold this long. It was a male employee that answered my call and kept me on hold. I received a meal for next time FREE. It's not about me getting meals free its the customer service. Please, if you have phone orders don't leave your customers on hold for so long. It was my first time visiting today. I was surprised at their wide variety of juices. I tried the green juice and was not disappointed. I paid $5 but the drink was pretty big. The service was also really pleasant; the guy at the register went out of his way to explain what was in the drinks I was asking about and what he recommended. This place can get pretty busy on hot days. It's a good alternative from the sugary drinks that Jamba juice has. They can be slow at times when there's hardly a rush, but they don't take forever. The hours for Sunday are wrong, so I would suggest getting here before 7pm if you're craving an evening smoothie. read more
