Cafeteria style restaurant with excellent food. Their breakfast is amazing as well as their lunch and dinner. Expect very large portions with tasty food. While I was eating, the owner came around the restaurant and gave everyone a spinach pie for free. The staff is very friendly and truly mean it as it is a family owned establishment. Brothers is a staple from my childhood. Shoutout to Kary for always being a friendly and familiar face. The cooks are on top of the orders and make a killer omelette. I do not know what I would do without the chicken egg lemon soup. It keeps me together when I'm falling apart. It's the best remedy for any illness. I always look forward to a meal at Brothers whether it's by myself or with friends. Great prices and great food, I hope the chicken egg lemon soup never changes and never leaves the menu. read more

I ordered a taken out for the next day. I did not received the full order AND it wasn't all that I ordered was there. I was charge for something that I did not received. I call and the young lady got me the manger who said the order did not go through. But I did received something and was charged on my checking account. He then hung up on me. Pls. do not waste your time going there. Manger was not very kind. read more

This is some of the most authentic Greek style food at reasonable prices. Also, the people are friendly. It is deli style where you get in line with a tray and pick what you want. The portions are huge. If you was to buy the luncheon dinner, it'll be more than enough for two people. Also, you can order the lamb Shabab there. A gem in the middle of Danvers MA. Self-service, indoors and outdoors seating and AMAZING Greek food. I had an omelette with house potatoes and wheat bread, and couldn't resist Dolmades with a egg/lemon thick sauce (yes, both for brunch... and I suspect I will be full until after dinner). The restaurant also sells Greek products (honey, olive oil, cookies, sweets...). You can also take out. And, if you use my name (Stella), they may make an amazing frappe coffee for you. I just wanted a Reuben sandwich on Dark rye and the meat is completely out of date and rancid.. I won't be coming back anytime soon. Sorry have been a customer since I was a little kid but this was extremely disappointing. read more

My first visit an I was quickly greeted and the guys behind the counter taking orders and preparing my food. I ordered the corned beef sandwich with Swiss and mustard with a side of potato salad. Let me break it down The sandwich is a 6.5 out of 5 the meat was sliced thin and was perfect. The rye bread was so fresh I would have thought they were making it fresh. The potato salad is 7.5 out of 5 stars. It's creamy, sweet perfection! If I have to pick on anything it would be the price. My moussaka, roast potatoes, and roast mixed vegetables were delicious! I appreciated getting my food quickly, due to cafeteria-style service, and the availability of tables outdoors. Vegan hubby would have enjoyed more vegan-friendly options. He ended up with spaghetti in tomato sauce and lentil soup. Dropping them a star. This is still my father's favorite place, but the service is dropping drastically. There was a time that they could have a line of 25 people and the counter help would keep that line moving at warp speed and not make one mistake with any of the orders. Now the lines move at a glacial rate. Orders often take much longer to make or have errors or are simply forgotten. Food is still good, but I won't go there unless my elderly father wants to go. read more

I thought that this place was fantastic. And I've never experienced breakfast like this. Grab a tray and get in line! You call out what you want and they go straight ahead and start putting it together. It's really efficient, but I think I still prefer the typical sit down and have your order taken method If I had the chance to look over the menu maybe my experience would have been completely different. I didn't know what to get so I asked for the corn beef hash omelette with cheese. Since they have deli in the name I figured the cornbeef hash would have been a home run and it was. Very tasty and worth going back to try a Reuben at lunch. read more

I just had lunch here and I can't say enough great things!! I've been on a quest lately to find a restaurant that serves good food at good prices. It's been very hard to find but I think I finally found it here with New Brothers! I got a nice big chicken breast stuffed with a tasty stuffing with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables with a tasty gravy and cranberry sauce all for a very reasonable $17.95, and it all tasted excellent. They have a large menu and all the food just looked great! This is a high quality old fashioned restaurant and I believe I will now be a frequent customer!! Also, the entire staff is friendly, helpful, and communicative!! Great job Brothers!!! read more

We were craving breakfast and decided to go to New Brother's Deli. I ordered and egg white omelet with lite American cheese and tomatoes. I also ordered a grilled, yes grilled, blueberry muffin which was topped with butter. We also ordered 2 eggs with hash browns and corn beef. Everything was so delicious. They have such great service and food, we may go back tonight for dinner. It's cafeteria style and seating is first come first serve. Everything's big is so good here. Went to Dinner tonight at 6:45 with my 4 grandchildren after we had left one of there basketball games for a quick dinner. I asked if they were closing and the owner said he wasn't. We ordered sandwiches and 3 chicken finger dinners. At 6:55 two of us were done . Two of my grandchildren that are 15 and 16 were in a booth behind us. Josie that works there was standing near our table to clear our dishes and banging on there table saying we close at 7 and dishwasher needs dishes! Are you kidding me . $66 for dinner and have been in the food service for 50 years. Are you kidding me. Owner was very nice , I told him and he said thank you for telling him. He said she comes from another country and takes awhile to get manners. No Excuse sorry. We weren't the only ones in there , there was a lady with a book that came in behind us. read more

My friend and I went for lunch. The owner is always very kind as are the workers. The store is clean. However I got a RB sandwich , my friend got a pastrami sandwich on rye. We also ordered 2 sides of fries and had two fountain drinks. The amount of food was good. The problem $42.00 . I'm fairness it is everywhere. Prices are out of control. My standards going forward. If I'm going to spend that kind of money on a sandwich w/ fries it's going to have to be something I really want. Brothers was a place of convenience not a place I have ever desired. read more

MUST COME BACK HERE!!! Cafeteria style family cooked deli food. I got the feeling they were a family in there. I assume Greek. The small conversation I had with the men behind the counter was hilarious! If you're looking for a solid meal with a vast menu, look no further. I sincerely hope some hipster foodie D. Many Greek menu items. Enjoyed the lamb kebab. Was done perfectly! Busboy should wait until customers leave the table before clearing the table, however. I also got a baklava which was over cooked, so not as good as it could have been. read more

After ordering and paying, and following the arrival of my food, I was asked to pay 5 extra dollars because my food was "rang in wrong" when I know it wasn't. I know the owner would want to make this right, but it doesn't seem like the two women at the front counter care. I get that it's a busy day (st Patrick's day) but that should be more reason to be understanding, and want to satisfy the customer after standing in line for 20 minutes. Not squeezing them nickel and dime when they already paid for the price of their food. Goes to show where some people's values lie. Very poor quality of service. read more

This was my first visit to New Brothers Restaurant and Deli. This was at the suggestion from our cousin who is familiar with the area. We were coming from Stoneham, and this restaurant is in Danvers, Massachusetts. Their parking is situated in the back part of the restaurant and that's where we entered from. The restaurant inside is actually pretty nice even though you order your food in a cafeteria style way. The difference is that there food is quite good. When I ordered I asked for the Hot Pastrami and the man behind the counter asked me if I wanted mine in a "Bulkie" and I said yes. I at least I knew what he meant this time, being from out of town. Overall it's the experience of being in a different town and just seeing what people they like. Danvers is a nice little town but, like many town around they are all nice. Especially this time of year when the leaves on the trees start changing color, beautiful scenery. read more

Also beware of the older woman who apparently is the owner, she's not only bad at math but she's also not very nice as I've been going there for 8 years and have never seen her smile. I've actually seen her be very disrespectful to a senior citizen (this place has lots of them) who was short on his bill ( I pad for it) and she practically berated the poor fellow for not having the money. I went to Brother's Deli as a kid with my dad all the time. It's as good now as it was then - the hospitality and quality of the food is off the charts. Kari (the owner) treats everyone as if they're his personal guest and he does so with sincerity and grace.
