First time here. Super clean, fresh ingredients very well stocked and organized. They offer Mongolian BBQ and Chinese food. Fast and friendly service. Worth trying and once you do, you'll be back. So good.

Mongolian bbq is a fun experience for the whole family! First you would grab a bowl, head to the food station and stack on raw items including meats, vegetables and noodles. You would bring the bowl to the cook and he will cook your food on a flat iron grill. It's entertaining to watch your food being cooked in front of you, as he works fast, soaking your food in sauces as he cooks, flips and churn your food! Once it's done he will place your cooked items in a box to go. If you would like to add additional cooked items you can. The costs is by the pound! I got some shrimp, various veggies and chow mein noodles on top. A pro tip: add more meats than you think you will need because those sliced beef when cooked is not much!

I haven't had Mongolian BBQ in so long! Was very excited to find this place near the YMCA after my kids swim class. I used to have this so often in my childhood but they're hard to find now. Such a fun experience watching them cook your dinner fresh right in front of you on a giant wok!

This is a great spot! We come here at least once a week. We enjoy the mongolian everytime. I appreciate that they serve coca cola. The place is well kept. The staff are helpful. Friday is their busiest day i believe.

Wednesday Time: 11:30a (roughly) Food: 4 stars, it's not exactly like La Verne different owners and assuming cooks but, a little added soy sauce and some teriyaki sauce later and the food was really good. Unfortunately, we had to order soup elsewhere but, it' will be on the menu at some point in the future. For Upland, so far the price cannot be beat less than $7 per lb. The last place we tried near hellman and will not go back, charged $11.99/Lb. Service Very nice and friendly staff. I mentioned that looking for them on google didn't show up for us, but luckily yelp did. For those trying to find this location. It's next to a smoke shop & nearby Marshalls, CVS. Parking can be found in front or on the side. Busy lot. Ambiance Had a mod feel and the chairs are comfortable. Lots of seating options. I think what had me at 5 stars is no dust anywhere around the food or the vent directly above the cooking slab. Overall to have an alternative close to home on our days off from work is a blessing. Welcome to the neighborhood!

I finally got to try the new China Mongolian bbq and so glad I did. My husband and I came last week for dinner. When walking in we were told everything is by weight and which containers to use. We got some Chinese food options but I am bummed most of it wasn't fresh or had been low quantity and sitting there. We just got a little of a few things to try. The Mongolian section was my favorite. Everything was there and you get a bowl and fill up as much as you'd like and they charge you by weight. I think it was around $30 for one plate or Mongolian and one of Chinese. We filled it up pretty good and shared. Flavor was great and they cook the Mongolian fresh in front of you. Inside had plenty of seating and a little sauce station for teriyaki and siracha. It was clean and chill. I'd come again and get to go. Definitely worth the try!

Tried this new spot out for dinner! As you enter there's a buffet of Chinese food and your typical Mongolian food set up. Priced at around $6 and some change per lb. You can mix it up and get both if you want. We got the Mongolian food and took it to the grill for it to be cooked. The sauce options were slim and the cook adds his own mystery sauces to it, I say mystery bc we have no clue what they were since he just added without explaining. There's a lot of cross contamination going at the stations of toppings due to minimal tongs available so that's maybe something to keep an eye on if you have allergies. Service was okay overall and ambiance was decent.

Delicious! And clean. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. They asked if it was our 1st time. Since it was, they guided us and instructed us on how to build your own bowl. Thank you. Careful with their chili!!! That day it was SPICY!! I only added 1 tablespoon of the chili. It was too spicy to eat my food. My family said the same thing. We couldn't eat our food. We should've put it on the side. Our faults tho. Besides that, we will definitely come back. Many options to choose from. You can even do your own fried rice.

My husband and I stopped in for the very first time today. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly. As for the food - WOW!! Hot, fresh and delicious!! I'm more adventurous than my husband. His looked more like meat fried rice when he was done. Mine had some meat but mostly veggies and tofu. I loved everything about my lunch and my husband said he would definitely go back again. That's a huge plus! I was a little worried about paying by the pound because I can get carried away with all the options but my food was 1.45 lbs. and was only about $9.50. That's very reasonable for a lunch nowadays! They have two options: Mongolian BBQ or prepared buffet-style Chinese food. I heard that you can choose one or the other or both. Maybe next time. Give it a try. You won't be sorry! See ya next time!

Really love this spot! So glad there's a Mongolian bbq in upland we usually have to go to further places to get some. Prices are good and everyone is so friendly. Ordering here is a bit confusing and the person at the front explained well. Everything here is done by weight. You can set up your Mongolian bowl or Chinese food. Arrived at 8:40 to get some Mongolian BBQ and when we walked in we were told we couldn't order anymore because they were closing and had to clean the grill. As they're turning us away they're currently putting more food on the grill. I don't understand why adding an extra 2 plates would have been an issue with 20 mins until closing. They have a sign up that says Mongolian bbq ends at 9. We were told that we couldn't order because the guy who cooks the food on the grill would get upset even though they are still open for another 20 mins. We drove 30 mins to get here and were turned away so that the cook didn't get angry.

It is clean and has good variety for take out. I have been twice; Chinese food side only. They are quick to refill during dinner hours. The food is good quality and tastes good. I do love being able to create my own variety sample platter. I can only give five star ratings out when the Egg Rolls are made local instead of the now pervasive frozen corporate egg rolls that are everywhere these days. Probably warrants a 4.5 but half values don't seem to be an option. Price is good for what you get. A bargain these days. read more

Looks like a new establishment which has opened recently. The food was freshly replenished very often due the amount of customers. The ambiance for a Mongolian BBQ is adequate. The pricing is fair, families were over stuffing their bowls so they could have couple more meals. read more

Quick and easy! Got off of work late didn't feel like prepping my meals for the next few days so i stop by last minute at 9 PM and made me a stirfry with beef and lamb and veggies about 2 pounds cost me $12. I went with my family to the New China Mongolian Barbecue and Chinese food this weekend. I love the idea of having a Mongolian and Chinese spot, so there is variety for everyone. My whole family enjoyed this too, as not all of us like Mongolian, and could get Chinese. Or, getting both, which allowed for that variety. I personally got Mongolian BBQ, and I loved it. While I don't eat lamb, they did have it, along with pork, chicken, beef, and tofu, which was nice. I don't see that many options at too many other Mongolian BBQ places. Otherwise, everything else was pretty average, but they also had eggs, which I'd never seen before! Overall, the bowl was very nice and great for filling up. I didn't have any Chinese food, but my brother and parents did, and said it was good. My mother, who is very sensitive to spice, was thrilled to find out they had both *Spicy* Orange Chicken, and regular Orange Chicken. They also had items like honey walnut shrimp, which is considered premium by most Chinese restaurants. All food is priced by weight, at around $6.50/lb. (If I remember correctly.) It was very fairly priced, and as my parents pointed out, any meal you can get per person for less than $20 is awesome in this economy. They had fountain drinks, Pepsi. Nothing too special. They also had many canned sodas, which I opted for a classic AZ green tea. As it is a mostly self serve restaurant, there isn't much to say about service. The woman who greeted us and introduced us to how it all works, later helping us weigh and pay, was very kind and helpful. The chef was also of course friendly and awesome. The ambiance was average, nothing too fancy. The nice thing about the weighing process, means it is in a to-go container, so you can stay, or take it home. Overall, a very nice restaurant and super good. Love to see a great Mongolian Barbecue in the area. read more

I love the La Verne location. This sister restraunt is JUST AS GOOD! Meat and veggies are always fresh. They also have a separate section if you want to order chinese food, like beef and brocolli or orange chicken, fried rice, etc... You can also order soup. I love egg drop soup and hot and sour but i believe they offered other soups as well. They charge by pound. I always share this with my husband and there is always left overs. We make sure to pack it good. This place is a must try!! It's hard to find a good Mongolian BBQ nowadays. read more

The cook was really good at asking whether we wanted certain oils or sauces...major plus in my book. Other places just start adding saucing without telling you what it is. The owner and what I assume are family members are the nicest people! On a weekend I saw that they popped up at a place I wanted to check out - the San Antonio winery in Ontario. Thought it would be a perfect time to go see them. I was able to grab a glass of wine to pair with their delicious barbecue brisket nachos. The serving was generous with some of the jalapeños to bring a little bit of acid and heat. Definitely wanna catch them at another pop-up and try some of their other items that lean more towards the Cambodian influence. The vibe getting the food and at the winery was very chill. It was earlier in the day, so maybe people weren't drinking that much yet but I really enjoyed my peaceful time whole enjoying the delicious food.
