It's Friday night and no one is cooking but I have a taste for some hometown Chinese food. New Chia Wok is in El Paso but a few of the people that work there used to live and work in NYC. The style of cooking they do here is very reminiscent of the way they made Chinese food back home in The Bronx. I love coming here on my cheat days to get some great Netflix and chill food. The shrimp and lobster sauce is to die for. The assistant owner is super cool and every time we see other I love catching up. Enjoy!!

Let's see! This place may have a vast menu! However I stick to what I know! The good stuff! I am going to go on recited and say they have the best mei fun I have ever had in my life. I like the speediness of this establishment and the moderate pricing. My boyfriend and I frequent this place since it is located near the home we share. We love the beef and broccoli as well and the white rice Can be used for another meal! It's delist and they seem to give it to you with everything.

It's by far the best Chinese food I've had in el Paso. Tried many others but this place still a #1 to me.

The food was good but it is not authentic it has all been tweaked in an odd (El Paso?) fashion…read more More often than not it tasted good though. Otherwise this would be three stars. Pan fried dumplings : small, odd shape, served flipped tupside down apparently directly from the pan, and not all that crispy. BBQ pork Bao: split on top, way too soft (and wrong) texture Spicy Sichuan soup - this was easily the best dish but it's made with lemongrass ?? that's a Thai thing. An unusual but delicious tweak. Dry fried chicken - completely not authentic this came coated in a spicy dust. Truly bizarre

I was highly anticipating eating here while driving from California through Texas, especially since…read morethey have plaques for best Chinese food in El Paso in addition to the high reviews by hundreds of customers. Unfortunately, my fiancé and I were disappointed with what was brought to the table. While the portion sizes and cost-per-plate were very nice, the flavor seemed to miss. * Our Sesame Chicken just tasted like orange chicken with a bunch of sesame seeds on it * Xiao long baos were weirdly tangy? * SumSam dumplings were good in taste overall, but the dumpling wrapper fell apart very quickly when being picked up and the filling kept falling out. Our favorite dish we ordered though * Pork BBQ Bao was also good in flavor, but the bao felt a bit starchy and was hard to chew at times. Additionally when we arrived, the floors were sticky, the sauce jars at the table did not look recently cleaned, and there was still residual food under our table from previous patrons.
