So my wife and I have been eating a this place for the past two years and i must say they remain consistent with the food they put out. I haven't tried a wide variety of their menu, but i can attest to the items i have ordered. The Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, Beef Broccoli, mei fun and Lo Mein never seem to disappoint. Their fried rice is just average and kind of has a weird orange color to it. Another cool thing is you can literally watch them make your entire meal. Hubby and I absolutely love this place! We usually order the same thing sweet and sour chicken and cheese wontons for hubby and chicken and broccoli and a quart of egg drop soup for myself. It's right by the house and they are quick if you call ahead! We always order take out but the place is always clean when we pick up. The only thing we don't like are the Wonton wrappers that come with the soup and the egg rolls. I didn't try the egg rolls but hubby did and was disgusted. Other than that we love this quick fix for Chinese take out for movie night at home. We will continue going to this location for our stay at home nights and just because lunch. The parking lot is decently sized but kind of a pain if there are a lot of cars and due to the b&r next door sometimes it gets crowded. Won't stop us from ordering! read more

Contrary to other reviews, I am from Chinese heritage, grandfather himself stepped off the boat from Hong Kong. In a stroke of irony he also owned a Chinese restaurant that I ate at for many years of my childhood. On to the point though. This restaurant makes, what I believe is very good Chinese food. Is has the same flavors and smells I remember from my Grandfathers restaurant. Just so everyone knows, that is the gold standard I use to compare all other Chinese food I have ever eaten. When we walked in to eat we looked at the menu took some time and when we were ready to order the lady at the counter decided to be on her phone instead of asking us if we were ready to order. We ordered organge chicken and beef low mein. The beef in the noodles was a weird color and the noodles were too salty. The orange chicken was luke warm at the best and i could not for the life of me bite the chicken. After maybe 10 min we left. 25 dollars down the drain. Wouldnt recomend it. read more

I have been to this restaurant twice and the potstickers were good. The main dish was forgettable and their version of fried yellow rice is bland. I am amazed at the good reviews on here considering how bad the rice is. I wanted to give it another chance the other day but after sitting there without being acknowledged, I left and ended up at Sunny's instead. I have had carryout from here several times. The food is great and the portions are standard for Chinese takeout. If you are in the Far East and wanting Chinese I recommend New China Wok. This will not be a "fancy" restaurant so don't expect that. read more

Coming from Hawaii, where Chinese food restaurants are on every corner, this place is the best yet in El Paso. The food is flavorful, and has a different, but not bad twist on it. Fried rice wasn't the best ever, but the beef broccoli and teriyaki chicken made up for it. Good prices too! read more

We stopped here for a late lunch, unfortunately my meal was horrible. They definitely recooked my meal and the chicken was so hard I could barely bit through it. I became well acquainted with the owners and staff as I would come periodically throughout the years. I for one can't get enough of my favorite Chinese dish which they wholeheartedly prepare just me(because I get the same thing every time). I can't get enough of this place, I love it! If I was financially suited, I would drive my happy tail feather every week for pure indulgence. All the other places can't make my dish presentably and deliciously well!!! Probably the worst Chinese place I've ever eaten from. I was about to put a spoonful of Hot and sour soup in my mouth when I noticed there was a bug in it. I've given this place two chances and both times they've disappointed the original China wok on Lee Trevino is way better and are the original owners of that name, from what I'm told , the one that owns this location on Edgemere ,was a former employee. I've tried the kung pao chicken twice, and what really disappoints me is how little chicken there is in the kung pao chicken it's mostly celery, lots of celery, and carrots and some peanuts. They try to cheat you by jam packing your Kung Pao with monthly salary and other vegetables and little amounts of chicken, the China wok on Lee Trevino adds a lot more chicken and bigger pieces of chicken, and it just overall taste way better. the kung pao chicken at this location on Edgemere uses little tiny slivers of chicken and hardly any chicken at all ,very disappointed for the second time. read more
