I really appreciate that they also carry crafting supplies and classic Chinese literature, not just generic art books. Everything here feels rooted in tradition and care. The store also offers novels, children's books, Chinese New Year decor, vases, and small toys, which makes it feel like a cultural space rather than just a bookstore. On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable. I've even found books for as little as $2-4, which makes browsing and discovering new reads even more special. The owners are an older Chinese couple who are quiet, reserved, and genuinely kind. One of the things I cherish most about Soyodo is how peaceful and calm the store is. I don't know any store that sells individual photocards, and it really makes completing collections and sets so much easier. I was very impressed by the middle table they had in the middle of the store that had many binders organized by groups with individual member PCs that you can purchase. The PCs are a little overpriced, but compared to Mercari shipping/fees and other third party sites, the PCs are basically what you can find at retail. You can basically justify Kandy Pop's prices with the instant gratification without waiting for shipping lol. But overall you can basically buy many photocards for the price of one album which is HUGE! I also love that they have a POB lucky draw/gatcha machine that rotates groups/sets regularly for $5/pull or with an album purchase. You can also sell your extra photocards here! If you have large quantities of PCs, you'd need an appointment but if you have a small handful (like I did), they will probably just buy your cards on the spot. They also have a wide selection of photocard holders, deco stickers and accessories, random assortment of trinkets, stationery, and blind boxes. This place is located inside a plaza inside Vietnam town. Parking may be difficult during peak hours but isn't too bad overall.

I came here to sell some books and it was pretty quick--I had probably 20-25 books and the employee finished in less than 10 minutes. As I was waiting for my books, I walked around exploring. I was very impressed with the selection of fiction. There were actually quite a bit of new releases, but also older books and editions that I would likely not find at a corporate bookstore. If I had the time, I'd love to spend 1-2 hours here just browsing. I didn't expect to get much money for my books; I was actually going to donate them and didn't realize that they still buy books, so their offer was ok. I was moreso pleasantly surprised that the employee was so nice lol, and also a little chatty. Honestly the last time I sold books was probably 15-20+ years ago at Half Price Books and I remember they were always pretty rude/standoffish lol. In addition to the service, the atmosphere, and the book selection, the cherry on top for me was that they have a special shelf where you can buy a book there for 50% off for them to donate to the library at Elmwood Correctional Facility at a bit of a loss for the store. I used most of my credit from the books to get a Stephen King book for the library.

I especially love when they put books out in under $6! The prices at this location are better, and this store feels much more like a classic old bookstore. The Campbell location feels more like a modern bookstore, and the prices there can sometimes be higher. At the end of the day, this place is a San Jose landmark and everyone should visit it at least once. Even when I disagree with certain aspects of it, I still keep coming back because it's nostalgic.

It's a huge size bookstore spreading different sections of categories, magazines, and a kids area. There is a coffee station in the center and tables where you can read and work as it's pretty quiet inside. The manga section is big and the magazines as well. There were quite a bit of KPop magazines amongst others. You'll find quite a few things you didn't think of when you come across cute and unique accessories. If you want to get out of the outside and enjoy a quiet atmosphere, it's Barnes & Noble.

I googled CD duplication and called the first few companies. I had to punch many keys to finally reach a real person. Unfortunately the salesmen of these company were pretty ignorant about the product they were selling and had to put me on hold many times. Luckily I found New Cyberian from yelp and I contacted them immediately. To my surprise I was greeted by a real person. Ken, the salesman there at New Cyberian, patiently listen to my requirements and help me get the product I wanted with the right pricing. In about 5 days I got a call from the customer services telling me that my order is done. That was two days ahead of schedule and that saves me a great deal on shipping cost. I am new to the Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area but before coming over I did use other vendors for my company in Missouri. Compared with the product I just received from New Cyberian the other companies were way behind in quality. New Cyberian is definitely the one I will recommend if you need to make copies of CDs and DVDs. read more

New Cyberian helped me solve a big problem. I was in need of 1000 DVDs with CSS copy protection. Before contacting New Cyberian I was misled by all other DVD replication companies that my master had to be on DLT tapes or has to be in DDP format. Technically I wasn't able to work on both of these formats. When I called New Cyberian I was told that all I needed was to provide a playable DVD-Video. The sales at discmakers told me that was absolutely impossible and was laughing at me when I told her what New Cyberian had told me. With the total satisfaction guarantee I got from New Cyberian I decided to give it a try. They did it. CSS was added to my DVDs without all the complicated requirements. Discmakers was all wrong. I don't understand why can they be the biggest disc company in the US while their sales are so ignorant. The best for me coming out of this is I have found a better supplier with higher quality and lower price. read more

I have used New Cyberian twice so far for CD replication, and it's the best deal I have been able to find anywhere. I play in a band that isn't selling thousands of CDs, so I am very grateful that I can order low minimums so I don't have boxes of CDs filling storage units. The folks at New Cyberian have always been very quick to respond to any questions, and are very easy to work with. Placing orders online is easy too. The CDs look great, and the printing is super high-quality. I have never had any problems with any of the CDs or with anything, and have referred many friends to New Cyberian to get stuff made. I order my DVD's from New Cyberian. I usually order in quantities of 1000 because there is a large price savings starting from this quantity. I have ordered 3 times for a total of 3000 disks already and I have never had a problem. What I really liked was the great service I received for each of my orders. Even though some of the information was on their website, they were always patient and explained everything carefully. Also, when I was pressed for time, they would answer honestly if I should purchase the rush service or not. At that time, they said they could deliver on time and I received it two days before my deadline. This saved me money and I got my job done. I have been using New Cyberian Systems for years now, even though there are competitors that are geographically closer. The reason is not only that I always get a high-quality product, but more importantly, customer service is outstanding. They always take a good look at my projects, especially how I have created the master, and check with me if they are unsure about something I submitted. We are exhibiting at the ISA Signage Expo in Las Vegas and forgot to bring our product literature. What a big mistake! Fortunately one of our team members brought up the idea to have some CDs to replace the brochures. Calling few companies in Las Vegas and neighboring cities was a big pain. They either charged too much or had an unacceptable lead-time. Luckily we found New Cyberian in San Jose. Wonderful service! Isaac was honest, calm, straightforward and very helpful. Any questions I had were answered as quickly as possible. I realized after having already sent my CDs to print that I had made an error and sent him an e-mail, hoping he'd catch it the next morning (and hoping they didn't start printing already) but he called me 10 minutes later and helped me get everything right. I wish I would have looked at these reviews before my dad told me he had hired them to produce his…read moreCD. As these reviews suggest, there was once a woman who worked there that was apparently great with graphics design. My dad heard from a friend of his about this woman's design work. We would find out later that this woman was no longer with Isomedia. The man you should avoid is named Greg. The project was a disaster! Panels were on the wrong areas, a barcode ended up being placed over a band member's face, and to top it all off, THE CDS DID NOT HAVE AUDIO! Kee was our design artist. When this person sent over proofs, it did not include a barcode but green lines over one of the band member's faces. I, of course, emailed them about my concerns, Kee said the green line was just a template line and the red line was where the paper would be cut-the proof didn't even HAVE a bar code. On January 23rd, I approved the proof after Kee told me the green lines would not affect the final product. On Feb. 3rd, I got notice that the project was done and my dad called me to tell me of the mistakes, including how the cds didn't have audio and the pictures were wrong. Greg would later email and call me to drag the process along. He would tell my dad he would call him back and then wouldn't for days. Once I made changes to the design myself to make room for the barcode in good faith they would be fixing it, Greg called me to inform me that because I changed the project I would be charged again. After I explained it was not a mistake on my part he got his cds back, and we're asking for our money to be returned. This has been very stressful, so our lawyer will be the one to have to sort it out if he doesn't respond in a timely manner. I've included a screenshot of the proof I approved and the product we received. It should have been a simple redo, but either the company is broke (since they clearly don't want to lose more money even though it's clear they were in the wrong), or Greg is running all of the business himself and is drowning. Either way, we will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau. BEWARE and keep everything in writing because you will need it!!!!

And then even after that there were problems with my order. And the person I was dealing with would barely return phone calls or emails so I had to spend so much time just calling and trying to catch him. And now, 5 months later, they charged me even more money to supposedly fix the original problem and it didn't work. And to this day I spent so much money and never received what I paid for and they REFUSE to refund any part of the money I spent. Very disappointing!
