Okay so let's talk about eggs! Possibly my favorite meal of the day, breakfast. I moved from anthem to inspirada recently and living near a breakfast restaurant I needed to go in. I LOVED crepes Florentine and the eggs Benedict, I would suggest either with crispy hash browns, my partner would suggest the chicken avocado melt for lunch! The pricing is very fair! read more

Stopped in for a late breakfast. Seated quickly. 5 minutes later, server asked for order. With 24 tables/booths it seemed like a lot of servers for such small place. I observed others asked for drinks to start, wondering why I wasn't? My server did make a suggestion with my order, Gardner Omelet, egg whites, mushroom, bell peppers, tomato and spinach, it comes with fruit or cottage cheese, my server also added sliced tomatoes which were a great idea. Throwing menus on counter making unnecessary noises? A third person brought my order, tomatoes unripe and tasteless. English muffin not warm enough to melt whipped butter it was served with. The omelet was hot and tasty for the ingredients. Salt pepper to taste spinach appeared to be from frozen, had that overly green appearance as frozen foods do. I made a request of cayenne pepper, but they had none. News alert to restaurant owners and managers, Tabasco and Cholula are not the only sauces, suggestion try Crystal Brand pepper sauce. I learned what I presume was my servers name on my bill, as she died not introduce herself. Decor was inconsistent and need repair/replacement. What this place needs is attention to detail after opening the business. The layout was unusual and not very customer or worker friendly with walls and counters limiting movement. read more

This was the second and last time that I will dine at this restaurant; I ordered a sandwich with fries; When it came I asked for mustard; The waitress did ask me what kind. I replied fancy Dijon if you have some. She said yes and brought up a small dish with approximately 2 tablespoons. I used almost all as my sandwich was dry and bland. I didn't finish it. I asked for my bill and she charged me .99 cents for the mustard. If she would have shared with me that there would be a charge, I would have said NO, that regular mustard would be fine. Instead of asking about the extra charge for the fancy mustard, i just decided not to leave a tip which is very rare for me.I would have normally left a $5 tip. I also left a small note with a .10 cent tip. read more

We moved in near here about 2 months ago. Very excited to try this place as it is so close by and the menu looked really good. First experience was not very good. Everyone has a bad day, will try again. Second experience, not as good as the first. Third time is the charm, right? Nope! Just awful. There seems to be a fundamental lack of caring by the staff and a lack of any kind of training for the cooks. The mistakes were obvious and numerous. It made me wonder if the cooks had ever eaten food before. This place could be good if they trained their staff better and figured out how to make them all look not so sad when you walk in. The food is good, the coffee is great and the service is 5 star. Nadia is the best server I've ever had at any restaurant. She's attentive, friendly and there was never a moment I sat and wondered if she'd come back. There's not much in this area, so it's nice to have a place to go to where there isn't a bar or casino. read more

I took my kids to breakfast this morning and the restaurant is clearly not able to handle service when they get crowded. There were only a couple of open tables available when we got there, which was after 10:00 am and it took over 35 minutes to get our food, which didn't all come out at the same time. There was at least a 5 minute difference between when we got the first few items and when we got the rest. No one acknowledged that it was taking forever nor did there appear to be anyone in charge who would have cared. This is the worst service I've ever had there and extremely frustrating. read more

This restaurant has progressively gotten worse with customer service since Nadia left. I've ordered the same meal time and time again and now with newer employees they've begun finding ways to charge me more for that same meal. I used to love the convenience of this restaurant, however now I'll be taking my business elsewhere even with needing to drive further for much better service. read more

Just had the worst experience at New Day Cafe. Waited for almost an hour and still didn't get our food. Finally walked out. 3 tables came in after us and got their food before us. When asked where our food was got the standard response "it will be right out". Waited another 10 minutes and still no food so we left. Poor management poorly staffed. No manager came out after we complained to the wait staff. If you have an hour to wait for your food then go. read more

Came for breakfast and soup salad combo. The salad with creamy blue cheese was very fresh. The soup was also very good because everything had fresh ingredients. The new day breakfast combo with French toast was also very good (I ask for no powered sugar). Value was good. The coffee is not Starbucks, but you can go across the parking lot and get it there! :) All in all a good place to come for a late breakfast. read more

It's just mediocre at best. The eggs tasted like they came out of a carton or watered down and not by milk. The linked sausage probably was the best part. The crepes were filled with what tasted like cheap grocery store cream cheese and were overly sweet. The only fresh fruit was the half cut up strawberry on top. The chorizo burrito was mostly tortilla and the potatoes were dripping with grease. Denny's is more highly recommended than this place. The service was attentive- only good thing about this place. I was hoping this place could be a neighborhood breakfast joint that would just be a quick walk away, but I will probably never come here again. Just a disappointment. read more

Went here because it's close to where I live but overall this breakfast was subpar and overpriced. The omelet I received was over cooked and the eggs were browned. The fruit was good but it's hard to mess that up. My husband got the eggs benny and the sauce was not made from scratch and looked to be from a packet... yellow colored. My son got the kids pancakes and they seemed to be the microwaveable small cakes? The bottoms were rubbery and they weren't very good. We won't be returning. read more

A new breakfast place in a location that could really need one, i mean lets try it! My break fast today was not good, i had an egg white omelet with spinach and bacon and while it was just uneventful at best,as a matter of fact the sliced tomatoes on the side was the best, we were a group of 3 and the 2 other had similar poor experience, little cubed potatoes were half cooked and basically cold inside, how hard is it to open a bag from the freezer and make sure they are fully cooked? Overall this was so poor that we won't be back, the cafe will be a slow learner just because it will be getting a lot of business from the immediate surrounding area. The one reason for the one star is because the waitress was really sweet, regardless of the fact that when we complained it went from in one ear and out of the other she was sweet, and i believe she is just getting overwhelmed by complaints from a piss poor kitchen operation. After an early day of travel, I took my daughters' family (including a 6 & 2 year old) for breakfast. They'd never entered this, our neighborhood establishent. We were greeted by a strawberry blonde haired woman with a smirk on her face, a thermometer in her hand like a powerful weapon and by the question, "Do you have a reservation?" Why would we? Only one table was being used in the place. I was surprised it was still in business. I want food for my family--OH...and to support a potentially "hard hit" local business. She was very irritated that a few of us didn't have a mask and "she'd see if she could find any." Another person brought us a few masks while she attended to a phone call or two. Then this gal came back to us with a, "I'll have to sit you at 2 tabes." FORGET IT!!! Too much power being weilded in this place. They DO NOT NEED YOUR BUSINESS only for you to OBEY!!!! My wife and I wanted to go for a fast informal and inexpensive lunch someplace close to our house. We had heard about the New Day Cafe recently opening and wanted to give it a try Ambiance: very basic decorating. Several booths and tables. No tablecloths. Paper napkins. A TV on the back wall. Pretty much what you would expect from a restaurant serving only breakfast and lunch. Service: Jessica, our server, was at our table pretty soon after we sat down to get our beverage order. The food came out in a timely fashion and Jessica came back to check to make sure that everything was going well. Food: I had the California omelette with hash browns and an English muffin. The Omelette was quite good. The hash browns and English muffin were pretty much what you'd expect from a breakfast and lunch place. Overall, it's nice to have a place that serves breakfast and lunch so close to the house. However they have tough competition in that there is Kneaders and Eggworks and IHOP and Denny's all within a few miles. And all of them do the same thing, at the same price point, with a more extensive menu. read more

We come here out of location convenience, but after this mornings meal, we've decided it will be our last time. Every time we come we are dissatisfied and today we received our biscuits and gravy cold. After sending them back, they also decided to just reheat the eggs instead of making a new batch. read more

I have only been there for breakfast and it's great. The service is fast, the waitress is friendly and the food is priced just right. I usually go after in opens at 7. Not a lot of people there but by 8 a good crowd has shown up. The waitress, Nadia, is a one woman serving team. She usually has 5+ tables to take care of before 8:30 I will definitely go back. It's perfect because it's close. For a family of 3 it will cost around $25. Pretty good for the area. It's not 5 stars because it doesn't have a changing table in the bathrooms. Thought we'd try out a new spot close to home. This place was exactly the perfect little brunch spot. But what really made our afternoon was the feisty waitress named Jenny. You see my lunch companion can be a delightful menace. But Jenny knew just how to handle him, much to my amusement. My friend describes her as a saucy wench. I think she's just awesome. Do not go there if you want to feel safe from covid-19. We ate breakfast there this morning and almost all guidelines were not followed. None of the staff wore face masks or gloves as far as I could tell. Regular menus used not paper. All condiments left on table. There was hand sanitizer at front and appears trying to distance tables but nothing else followed. We have always enjoyed there food but will never go back again. read more

Best breakfast I've had in months. We go out for breakfast a lot and a friend had recommended New Day Cafe several times. We finally made it there and it didn't disappoint.
