This pizza spot absolutely delivered! We ordered half clam chowder pizza and half meat lovers, and…read moreboth sides were packed with flavor. The crust had that perfect wood-fired char -- crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with just the right amount of crunch around the edges. The clam chowder side was such a Rhode Island/New England experience. Creamy, savory, loaded with seafood flavor, and topped with fresh herbs and potatoes that gave true chowder vibes in pizza form. Honestly, you can't come to Providence and not try chowder in every form possible! The meat lovers side was bold, hearty, and stacked with toppings. Pepperoni curled perfectly at the edges, sausage was flavorful, and every bite had the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and smoky meat flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed, modern, and perfect for casual dining with friends or family. Great food, great vibe, and definitely a spot worth revisiting while in Providence.

So we got some greens, some chicken wings and a pizza and it was filling and yummy. Our server was really friendly and chatty. Around 3-4pm there was almost no one in the restaurant, which made it relaxing and peaceful. This place can get very loud and busy during peak times. Great pizza, excellent wings, great service.

My friend and I…read morewere hungry around 11:30 pm on Friday night and this was one of the few open spots in the area with affordable good food. There was street parking and at the time, it was free. There were about 4 parties inside when we walked in, which gave us some time to think about which slices we wanted. We eventually went with the arugula, cranberry, balsamic drizzle, and I think feta along with the spicy sun dried tomato. The slices are pretty big and they do put them in the oven before handing them over. Each slice is about $4-$6, but you can also order whole pies. There was seating inside, but the air conditioning was too strong, so we found a table outside. Before stepping out, we poured ourselves cups of complimentary water. The crust is crispy and thin so you really get to taste all the toppings. The arugula one was really good. I enjoyed the different flavors: sweet, salty, creamy, acidic, and surprisingly, the arugula was not overly bitter. The sun-dried tomato one was also good. I am typically not a fan but this one was good since the tomato wasn't tough, or overly acidic. I would highly recommend Fellini's for great food at a good price. I would consider this location to be better for quick trips, or take out to eat the food at the Pedestrian bridge, but they do have another location in Cranston which is prettier and bigger for sit down, family style, and large groups.

The service is great and so is the food. You got to try the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza and the Garlic Parm Wings are top notch. This isn't a food court type eatery. It is a full service restaurant. The bartender barely made eye contact, and when I ordered a spicy tequila soda, I was served with Tajín sprinkled on top--not exactly what I'd expect for a spicy drink. The food was equally underwhelming. The pepperoni pizza came out with the pepperoni completely burnt. When we mentioned it, we were told that's simply how they prepare it, so keep that in mind if you order pizza here. The wings were decent and had a good amount of meat on them, but that was about the only highlight. The nachos arrived swimming in grease, making them difficult to enjoy, and the toppings were just average. The French fries were another issue--they appeared to have been cooked in the same fryer as seafood. This wasn't disclosed, and the fries came out tasting noticeably fishy. Thankfully, I don't have a seafood allergy, but that could be a serious concern for someone who does. The ambiance was fine, but overall the food and service left a lot to be desired, and I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Massimo's has street parking or valet. They also take reservations. We came on a Monday and chose to order from their prix fixe menu. They also have a great à la carte menu. Our dinner came with focaccia and olives, a glass of house wine, an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $38/pp. Portions were smaller than the à la carte dishes but enough for us. Between my husband and I, we ordered the caprese salad and meatballs appetizers, sliced strip steak with mashed potatoes and mushrooms, a fettuccine with asparagus and prosciutto with cream sauce, and dessert was the pannecotta and cannoli. Pasta was freshly made and al dente, steak was tender and flavorful. We loved everything. My only complaint that for a large restaurant, bathroom was small. Only one unit per gender.

The food overall was solid. One star docked because my pasta was over-salted in which I had to scrape the excess sauce on the noodles toward the end. The guanciale paired with pecorino romano is bound to be on the saltier side, but I think the pasta could have been unsalted to balance it out a bit more. That said, the guanciale and pasta were delicious, perfectly cooked. You can tell they use quality, simple ingredients! Their 3-course presto lunch for $24 is a hard to beat deal; however, I may venture out to their regular menu next time. Yes--there will likely be another time!
