They seemed extremely understaffed with really 2 ppl busing the whole place on a week night. Besides the slower service, the food came out at a reason time and everything tasted quite fresh and with great flavor. We used our 25% coupon we got in the mail and plan on coming again! We ordered: Tiger Dragon king Lobster mango Tuna amazing Godzilla

I have been coming here for almost 20 years. With so many sushi places In the area you need to be good to last that long. Sushi is always tasty and presented well. Hot food is good too.

I love this place so much and am so grateful it's just down the road from my family's home. The vegetable sushi plate was incredibly varied, beautiful and delicious. I have honestly never seen Japanese pickled veggies and roasted squash so elegantly assembled. For the first time, it even quelled the jealousy I often feel now at sushi restaurants since I went vegan. Major feat considering sushi was my favorite food since age 14 and was the last animal product I gave up. We also enjoyed some steamed vegetable dumplings with a vinegar based sauce and my partner had a fried shrimp entree with chili and mango that came on a heaping pile of rice and steamed broccoli. I will definitely be back as often as I can!

Picked up quite a few rolls to go. We all split the rolls so I can't say for sure which rolls I had. A lot of them were very sweet, I prefer my sushi more on the savory side. The rolls were average size and tasted fresh, though. The platter was pretty large but they only included 4 chopsticks (there were 8 of us). I guess we could have told them, but still, they should have threw in a few more to play it safe.

Crunch spicy tuna, crunchy spicy salmon, and godzilla.

Ordered take out. Ginger and wasabi was missing. I was impressed that they gave salad and soup along with a tray for soy sauce but ginger and wasabi are

a platter of different types of sushi

The aura in the restaurant is perfect for a date with friends or a significant other. What was even more amazing was the size of the sushi itself! I've never had sushi with such fresh fish and big pieces, for great prices. Also had a lychee martini made by a woman named Ilane, but finished it before I remembered to take a picture. Would definitely visit again.

    Batman is only $5.50.

The place was decorated with red heart balloons everywhere. My daughter loved this and wanted to take one. She wasn't able to, but the really nice sushi chefs did give her kani, which she loved. We started with hot tea, which was delicious. Kumo has a great lunch special. I took advantage of it and got the sushi and sashimi special. It consisted of a tuna roll, 5 pieces of sushi and 10 pieces of sashimi. Was very filling, fresh and delicious. Came with miso soup and salad. I enjoyed the salad, but their miso soup wasn't so great. I did not finish it. My husband also took advantage of the lunch special and ordered the 3 roll combo. He really enjoyed all of his rolls. My daughter had the tatsuta age. She absolutely loved it as it was basically chicken nuggets with panko. She is a huge chicken nugget fan and it's hard to find her things to eat usually at Japanese places as she isn't a fan of teriyaki chicken. Happy to know she likes this as well as Kani now. We will be back

I ordered the soba noodles with chicken and vegetables to take out and the dish contained 80% greasy noodles with a smattering of chicken and a little green from an unidentifiable vegetable. I feel so sick right now with stomach pains from all the grease that tasted like rancid lard. I should have brought it back but did not want the inconvenience. The only positive thing to say about this place is that their sushi is decent. Someone else ordered the vegetable teriyaki and got 2 pieces of broccoli and a carrot as their vegetables. No pea pods, bok choy, water chestnuts, onions, peppers, string beans etc. Just miserly portions with lots of oil, filler and hardly any protein or vegetables. Also their prices are sky high and their quality scrapes the bottom of the barrel. Never Again!!!

Plenty of booths, tables and hightops in a beautiful setting make this a perfect night out for an upscale meal that won't break the bank. To be fair, they seemed very busy, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since the food was so good. I want to come back soon to try more dishes! The shop is small but looks very clean.

As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Melinda, one of our favorite waitresses, and were seated right away. May, who was also working tonight, promptly came over to take our order. She politely asked if we needed menus, but I declined since we already knew exactly what we wanted. We've had this same exchange with May quite a few times during our recent visits. We ordered our usual: the Sushi for Two, which comes with two specialty rolls and 18 pieces of sushi. Tonight we chose the Dozo Dozo and the Futomaki Special rolls. The meal also comes with either soup or salad, and tonight we both chose the soup. That's how much we love this dish. We had just returned from a two-week trip to South Florida this past Saturday, and the very next day--Sunday--we came here and ordered the exact same meal. And here we are again tonight doing the same. This restaurant consistently serves some of the freshest, premium-quality fish around. Tonight's 18 pieces included bluefin tuna, O-toro, king salmon, scallops, sea bass, red snapper, fluke, yellowtail, and Spanish mackerel. Every piece was tender and incredibly fresh. Yes, the price reflects the quality--but you absolutely get what you pay for. In my experience, there are not many sushi restaurants on Long Island that consistently serve fish of this caliber. We left once again completely satisfied, which is exactly why this place remains one of our weekly go-to spots.

The only piece I personally didn't enjoy was the Kimmedai-Golden Eye Snapper. My favorite pieces are any of the tuna. It was really good, I'm not much of a fatty tuna lover but it was seriously really yummy. Also I don't really like uni so I was skeptical to try it, but the uni was so creamy and perfectly chilled it was heavenly. Every other piece was just so unique and delicious.
