Seafood soondubu
Jonathan T.

Came here because I needed to use my Amex platinum promo they resy as there aren't many participating restaurants in the area. I came with my wife and kids, the restaurant has a very quaint feel, but I felt the lights were a bit too dim so couldn't really see my menu very well, but that's just me. The menu had a lot of very interesting items which I would've tried if I wasn't with the kids. we didn't bother with any appetizer so we just started entrées . The salmon teriyaki bento-box, Yaki, udon, chicken teriyaki, seafood soondubu soup (surprised to see that on the menu ) and lastly, one of their special rolls. The salmon teriyaki was cooked pretty well no complaints came with a sushi roll and beef negimake, shrimp tempura all cooked well. The Yaki udon and chicken teriyaki were cooked well too really no complaints with any of the food. Service was adequate nothing special , the booths were a little bit uncomfortable I would advise sitting at the tables with regular chairs instead. The pricing on the food is reflective of the area that the restaurant is located in which is Woodberry and many of the restaurants around the area charge accordingly of course I probably would've never come here if it wasn't for my AMEX promo, but if I had to, I would come back and maybe just try their lunch specials.

Sushi/Sashimi Combo
Parteek K.

Had take out for lunch, it certainly was a great experience. Went with the sashimi sushi combo as I'm trying be a bit more health conscious. The meal was amazing. It was so fresh. Their garden salad also has some corn and onions which are a nice touch. I will be returning often for the sashimi lunch.

Really great sushi and related foods. Huge portions and reasonable prices. Attentive service. Interior design could use a refresh.

Amazing and fresh sushi as always. Volcano roll was made to look like a volcano. Toro was very fresh and buttery.

Kani salad

Heard about this new sushi place opening and I knew I had to go with my close friend for our monthly sushi date. We were greeted upon entering and brought to a booth. We both started with a kani salad. It was delicious! It wasn't overdressed with spicy mayo, and it had a great cucumber/crab balance. For my sushi roll I ordered the parfait roll. It was super fresh and very yummy. I forgot what roll my friend ordered and I also didn't take a picture, but she enjoyed it. Service was good. We weren't rushed. Our waitress checked on us often to see if we were okay and if we needed anything. Water constantly refilled when empty. Menu looked very good. Looking forward to going back and trying more yummyness.

Yamiano noodles served elegantly on ice.

I made a reservation for two on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was pretty busy, but they had our table ready even though we arrived 30 minutes early. Our server was Evelyn, and she was so sweet and she helped us when we were trying to decide between two desserts and three appetizers. We ordered: - Spring Salad (5/5) this tasted so good with the fresh mango, the snap peas, and the carrot ginger dressing. - Faroe Islands Salmon (5/5) I only tasted the rice, and not the salmon itself, but the rice was so good, and I just kept on stealing more from the plate. - Roasted-Half Chicken (4/5) This was my own entrée, and I loved how the chicken was crispy, and I also really liked the garlic mashed potatoes, but the only thing that I did not think worked well with the dish was the swiss chard. I think it would've tasted better with spinach. - Strawberry Cheesecake (4/5) this was surprisingly very light for a cheesecake, we ended up finishing all of it, and the whipped cream was really good. The strawberries were not my favorite, I kind of wish that they were just fresh slices of strawberries, but to each their own. All in all, this was a super solid meal, there's plenty of parking, and the restaurant is quite spacious, and the single bathrooms are also pretty large.

I wish it came with chips rather than toasted pita because it was a little too heavy -French dip: this wasn't good. The steak was fatty and tasted reheated. Also I substituted truffle fries and they were way too salty. The overall restaurant was nice, but I wouldn't get the French dip.

Honestly, no matter which one I go to I am always satisfied with the care they put into each of the ingredients and recipes. I can always count on it to be a consistent and healthy meal. I got the Autumn Harvest Bowl. It was my first taste of Sweetgreen and it was great! Helpful and friendly service, a clean location, at a reasonable price, and wholesome food! I kindly let them know I think they messed up and they were shocked I said something. They went ahead and started making new salads when they messed up my second salad. At that point I left it alone but squeezed lime onto the pesto chicken parm salad was strange to say the least. that salad came with hot sauce which I got on the side. Something is very off about the hot sauce- it made the top of my mouth go numb. Safe to say I will not return to sweetgreen and will choose to visit chopt, just salad or even cava. And just to note other yelpers are more than correct. The portions are very skimped.

OKK is a woman-owned business that prides itself on locally-sourced food without hormones, GMO's or pesticides. The space is located in retail space, with plenty of parking. I walked in to the light, bright, and happy-feel-good space and was greeted by a friendly woman who took my order. I decided to go with the Vegan Smashed Avocado Toast and the Nutty Buddy Smoothie. I took a seat on one of the colorful and comfortable seats and modern rustic tables. A few moments later, my Nutty Butty Smoothie was delivered. The smoothie was tasty (Banana, Peanut Butter, Vanilla Vegas Protein, Raw Cacao and Almond Milk). I like that it was not too sweet, but felt that it was lacking a lot of peanut butter flavor. Perhaps an additional scoop was needed? The Vegan Smashed Avocado Toast arrived next. The presentation was super colorful and looked delicious. Gluten-free bread, Smashed Avocado, Sweet Potatoes, Pico de Gallo and Cilantro. This was quite good. I thought the avocado and sweet potato were delicious, and combined with the acidity of the pico de gallo was a great combination. Overall, a very healthy and tasty breakfast option. It is a large establishment next to the very busy Ikea next door but I surmise people rather eat Swedish meatballs for half the price of Wild Fig. I ordered the Mixed Salad Bowl with chicken and my first impression was that it is quite similar to Cava. However, they emphasize that the main inspiration here is Turkish food which explains why the offer Pides. While Cava most definitely wins in the flavor category, Wild Fig's ingredients are less salty and oily. I would even believe that it might be healthier in that regard? The portions are above average and priced competitively. I was immediately prompted a tip screen on top of a $1 service charge fee. I did not ask what the service charge fee was for but at $12.99 a bowl these days, that is a good deal. I would need to come back a few more times to see if the complaints on other reviews are justified, but my experience today was good.

I also received the crushed chicken pea instead of white rice and I chose the chick pea based dressing. The food was pretty good and tasty. I didn't care too much for a good and hold plate in one setting. The temperature in the salad could have been closer to the temperature of the rest of the food. The steak was a bit chewy for my and the chicken appeared to have a hint of spice. I'm not complaining just stating my preference, my plus one had no mentions about the food but ete really didn't like the idea of them given her a dirty tray.
