Walked in for dinner for a party of 2, no wait! One server was pretty much handling all the tables, she was quick and efficient! The food was spicyyyyy omg! So good, not super oily, I would definitely come again! It's a very casual spot, pretty spacious for larger parties.

You must visit this place. It's a different type of cuisine from China and so it's different than the Chinese restaurant nearby. Salt and pepper pork knuckles were amazing. The fried noodles were great as well!

Really impressed by how authentic the food is! Prices are very reasonable, and right now 20% off during the soft opening, which makes it an even better deal. Highly recommend

I also loved the wall with messages about their love for stinky tofu. I'm definitely one of those aficionados!! We ordered a lot of dishes and they were all yummy: *oyster pancake *3 cups flavored chicken & mushroom *stinky tofu *dumplings *pan fried buns *spicy intestines pot *beef pancake roll *sticky rice Would definitely be back for my stinky tofu & taiwanese food fix

It was a bit unorganized and people walking around but not sure where to seat us. We finally got seated and had to wait a while and waved down people a few times to get out orders in. It is okay, I am here for the good, not the service after all. Right? I was disappointed. The oyster pancake was extremely fishy. The rice cake (well not really a cake but inverted sticky rice cup) was cold and where is the pork floss? The chicken rolls were decent, the best dish. I didn't try the fried intestines but was told there were okay. The stinky tofu not really stinky. I think it is because we are in the US and many restaurants stopped selling this due to complaints. I can take that but the dipping sauce was lacking with no garlic flavor. The other items were nothing to write home about. We were waiting for our stir fried seafood noodles and finally waved down someone only to find out it is out, but no one told us. So we ordered pork chop bento as we saw the next table had one and the portion was amazing. Well, someone must have eaten our order in the kitchen as ours was half of the size as what we saw from the other table. The decor was very simple and as with most Asian restaurant it was noisy. But I was there for the food so no problem. But the food didn't deliver.

Most people, local and from afar, come here for their 3-dish menu. When we first started eating here more than a decade ago, it was $19.50. But with inflation surging once again, the price has gone up to $38.99, which is still reasonable compared to other Cantonese restaurants in the East Bay. Our most recent visit took place on 11/15/2025. After attending the Bolo Yeung "You Are Next!" Autograph Signing Event at the Great Mall, four of us came here for dinner. It was busy when we walked in at around 6:20pm. The place was 90% full, with many others waiting for their takeout orders. We scored the last round table. The friendly tall waitress came by to say hi and dropped out a couple menus. (For those of you who don't know who Bolo is, he's the original "Beast of the East" and was featured in movies such as "Enter the Dragon", "Bloodsport", and "Double Impact".) We ordered a total of seven dishes. The quality was good as usual. The standouts were the scrambled eggs with shrimp and yellow chives (soft and creamy inside), Peking pork chops (crispy, meaty pork chops perfectly coated in a tangy sauce/best in the East Bay), and the bean curd strips and pork stir-fry. The tall waitress provided excellent service. She talked to us like family and was very efficient. She's been with this restaurant for a long time and if I recall correctly, she is mainly doing this for kicks (and some spending money). If you want some good Chinese food that doesn't break the bank, this is the place to be. Still 4 stars.

The restaurant looked full, but we were seated immediately at a small table. The service was friendly, informative and quick with the food. We wanted to try a bunch of different things, but our waitress actually told us we wouldn't be able to finish the first four dishes we ordered. She was right; we appreciated her help and took boxes to go. The food was great and my friend flew back to Connecticut happy. In February, my wife threw a bridal shower and decided to use Good Neighbor to provide all the food. She went to order on her lunch break and met with the owners to choose the dishes. They were helpful and informative. The day of the shower, they helped me load all the boxes into the vehicle, using a cart for transport. The important thing to note was the cost was reasonable for feeding 20 people. The food was enjoyed by all the guests and we had leftovers for dinner! You just can't beat that today. There's a ton of parking and they treat all their customers well. Only thing to note is they are closed on Tuesdays.

Don't let the fair pricing fool you, it is a really nice restaurant!! The interior is incredibly clean & well maintained, it's a whole experience having dinner there. After dinner (if you have children, this is key) they give you a scoop of ice cream, which is included with your dinner / lunch. I took my little daughter there once, for lunch, during daddy-daughter day. She REALLY enjoyed it. They have great meat options & the noodles, vegetables, etc - you go grab yourself, buffet style. So you go load a plate with whatever you'd like to add to your cook pot, along with the meat. They have little soft boiled quail eggs that you can add to your pot - HIGHLY recommend!! They have, if I recall, 4 or 5 different soup bases to choose from. I've had three thus far & they have all been incredibly good. PLEASE NOTE - the spicy one is no joke, I am a spicy food connoisseur & I will admit, even on my "0-10" scale, that red spicy soup base was easily an 8. Interestingly enough albeit very spicy, the red soup base has excellent flavor; in other words it's not just pure pain & terror & capsaicin overdose... It's spicy AND very flavorful. Give these guys a try!! We will definitely be returning, although this has to be more of a quarterly thing. As eating hot pot with little kids is NOT easy for parents - constantly making sure they don't spill boiling soup on themselves. What we did was asked for a bowl / plate; so we could serve the children the various meats, noodles, vegetables after they were cooked... Also to prevent the children from sticking spoons into a vigorously boiling pot. (SAFETY NOTE - the cook pots are directly in the table, built-in cooktops. So be vigilant with small children. The wait staff will give you a tutorial on how to increase/decrease the heat on the burner and/or how to shut it off when you're done cooking. Aside from my concern of the children burning themselves, it is an EXCELLENT experience for kids nevertheless).
