Looking for a good selection of Indian groceries at a good price with kind management then check New India Market! We were pleasantly surprised with how much we got for less than $35! Plus the items we got were super tasty. The naan and paratha in the frozen section were good. The owner was super kind as well and super helpful. Can't wait to come back and continue to browse the selection. Plus there are good options to create your own recipes or ready to go food. It may seem like a smaller place but overall a good selection!!

I came to the market today to check out their stock intending to buy Indian simmer sauces to make my own Indian dinners at home. I have been to one other Indian market in the area--the one near UNLV. This one is much closer to home and it proved to be a good stop. The shop is small, but it is well organized and had what I was looking for. I got some different simmer sauces and a jar of very hot curry paste for adding to any of the sauces I use or to add zing to something else I'm making at home. As I was finishing my walk around the aisles, I noticed they had bags of frozen rasgulla. It's on the list for my next visit for sure. As I was looking, the owner pointed me to an area to check for an item I was looking for. With my bag of goodies, I went to counter and I was checked out quickly. Service was friendly. I am so pleased I made the short trip down Sahara to get some simmer sauce for my chicken breasts waiting in the freezer.

New India Market is a much tinier store than Rani's in the shopping plaza next driveway over. Yes its crowded, but there's a ton of stock and I found everything I needed. Although it was cramped, the store is organized. The isles width are literally suitable for one person and a carry basket. I filled that basket. I would like to learn to cook the type of food I picked, but I need easy going stuff right now. They are here to help people like me :P. I have my faves: specifically garlic naan; and they had lavender incense. I bought all the lavender incense that was left on the shelves. Store also has hair and beauty products. Another customer who was trying to figure out my nationality hahaaaa - told me about their hair oil to strengthen his little girls' tresses. I'll keep that in mind. Something I'd try... They sell DVD movies and herbal type meds. I like their tea selections and they come in big boxes. Both loose leaf and tea bags are sold here. But they don't have anything for the loose leaf kind. At home, improvise... I'll use a coffee filter. If it weren't for the kindness of the store manager, this would only be a 3 star review. But she was really friendly, told me stories, and gave me some educational tips on teas; and also storing teas, incense, spices separately in the cabinets. This is the place I'll be coming back to for garlic naan. Especially cuz they come in large value packs. Works for me!

Such a cute mom and pop shop! The owner was very helpful. I will definitely come back. It beats paying Amazon for an over-priced spice.

Price of 4 Lb packet of Garbanzo here is $7.99. The price of the same in Rani's is $4.99. Would you want to pay 60% higher?

I can't with the streets being janky and the insane amount of traffic on Spring Mountain. But I do on occasion battle the crazy to take care of business. Before H Mart opened I would go to the Asian Market at Spring Mountain and hate life. IYKYK, right? Spacious yes, but be ready to wait an eternity to check out. After the H Marts grand opening I took a walk on the wild side and entered with my own personal shopping cart. Simply put my review is this: it's way too small for everything they sell. Crowded aisles. Stock on the floor. Serious fire hazard. They need to address this safety hazard and act accordingly with their wares. While almost everything is korean they do carry items from other asian countries. The problem is if you don't have a translation app or read characters you have no idea what anything is. I had a hell of a time finding dark and light soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster & fish sauce. I finally found my 3 Crabs oyster sauce but the soy sauce...I gave up. Going back with pictures next time... Employees on the floor were not willing or able to help find items or answer questions. They DO have an amazing selection of ramyun & ramen. Their housewares are solid & inexpensive. I highly recommend the pink kitchen gloves and disposable korean washcloths!!! They have limited k-beauty items but an insane amount of ginseng products. The parking lot is a madhouse. If you have your own personal shopping cart like I do...use it! It's a shame their app doesn't allow for ordering with store pickup.

It looks like they haven't... they are just quietly existing. This morning I woke up to our two meows both standing by their bowls. I searched for the earliest opening grocery store and found that Winco is 24 hours. The selection of cat food isn't luxurious but we found something both meows like and the price was identical to Walmart. If you've had ethical issues regarding Walmart, Winco states proudly that they are employee owned. Well that's how I feel about Winco... it's a no frills kind of market with generally decent stuff and I know where everything is and I know and the cashiers know me. Yeah, it's not like Sprouts or Whole Foods, not as many of the same type of an item as Smiths or Albertsons , not nearly as bare bones as Aldi's.... But you know what? It is generally fine for what I need , especially on a quick trip. Yeah, I'm not getting Boarshead deli meat or Sprouts in store sushi... but if I need "routine" groceries like eggs, breads, canned goods and produce, I'm going to go Winco and save a bit. I mean, yeah I have to bag my stuff, dodge the various folks in the parking lot who may be trying to solicit something , there's always ample parking and the hours are great. Just saying, so many people dis Winco just because they can't choose from 18 kinds of olive oil or there are no lobsters swimming in the seafood section and of course, you have to use cash or debit... do people still shop with cash? More do every day after all the rip offs of credit cards
