I love this place, although, it's not easy to find, but the taste of food will bring you back again. The raw fish is my favorite, all fresh and tasty, along with the fresh oyster and shrimp, also there are more choices of sea food like clams, steam fish, crab, and crawfish. Ok so I had already had a terrible experience here in the past before the COVID ordeal with having hair in my food and then same day finding another hair on my plate for this reason I tried to speak to the manager and he shot me down and completely ignored my complaint helping other customers/victims and shushing me to be more quiet even though I was already speaking normally any quieter I would have been whispering after that I told myself I would never go back but a friend of mine ordered food from here not that long ago and I thought it was really good however yesterday 9/8/20 I called at 7:50 pm I ordered 3 pounds of the happy shrimp and cream cheese wontons they told me it would be twenty minutes but they never came or even called to say they weren't going to deliver they just never showed up after I repeatedly went over the address with them because I didn't want there to be any mistakes hands down they are rude and have terrible customer service skills I'm not sure how this place can afford to stay open if this is how they treat there customers read more

The food is alllll cold. You use paper plates and plastic forks . I guess for COVID but your food is falling off the plate. Paid $45 for 2 people and couldn't even finish the food. Waste of money. read more

Place is small...everything was clean...the servers were nice...the sushi was good...and the other variety of food was great!!! The desserts were good too. The food was warm and cooked right..will come again...it does get packed in the weekend especially in dinner time but other than that it is a pretty decent buffet read more

Out of all the buffets in the Modesto area, this is the best one. Their food is always fresh and hot (hasn't been sitting out for hours) and their sushi has gotten better. When it comes to Asian buffets, I favor the clams, crabs, and sushi. I've been here a few times and I love how we get seated right away. Recently, they removed those sectionals so now we can watch others eating. I find it a little cramped but anyways, the food is okay. This was the worst service with mediocre food. I waited thirty minutes for broccoli beef to be brought out and it never happened. I had a cup of soup and glass of water, which I charged $9.72 for. I was offered an insincere apology while she took my money. I should add that I asked about the broccoli beef about ten minutes after I realized they weren't refilling it. I wish people would learn to keep perspective when writing reviews. For a buffet, this place has really good choices and quality as long as you're not there at random hours when normal people aren't eating and of course the food will be slightly less than fresh.. I know people have commented that the staff stares, but I think they're just attentive and obviously didn't grow up with American customs so they don't understand it might be slightly impolite. They are always around, but I've noticed it's more to ensure that drinks are refilled, plates are cleared, etc. We don't make a habit of going to the buffet, but this is one of only 2 or 3 we go to when we do. Dinner and Sundays all day are 11.99. Lunch is probably 9 or 10.. location is kind of hole in the wall, but way better than the others in Modesto.. read more

I find this place to be the best if looking for good Chinese food. But I had a really scary experience there where a gentleman yelled at me with Really bad language-because I made a comment about his child trying to get ice cream. All I said was "Oh My" because I felt he was going to fall in the ice cream freezer he just flew off n started yelling at me. I went to my seat but he continued to be obnoxious. I did not feel safe. I think the restaurant should hv said something to him. Also they need to post that ice cream should be served by adults only or get soft serve. I literally just got done eating here with my boyfriend. I don't expect much at a buffet, but this was absolutely horrible compared to all the buffets I've been to. First off, the chicken wings, beef, pork, almost every single entree is undercooked. For example, my boyfriends chicken wings were bloody on the inside. The rice is okay though, but the Lo Mein is VERY greasy. I am being honest when sharing my review about this restaurant and don't want others to go through the same experience and spend $11 on bad quality food that is once again, undercooked, greasy, processed, bloody, and possibly microwaved. I would not suggest this place to ANYONE. Save your money or go to the grocery store nearby like I should have, to cook a better dinner for 2 or even more! I am very unimpressed! ive been going here for about four years at first it was ok then it seemed to be better taken car of fresh wise. about a year ago we noticed the older lady is really really rude she and others seem to laugh stare and watch our every move they have added to my tab for a tip whitch is not right, and they bring out cold or warm red crab legs . tonight three of us men went for lunch called first was told 340 pm for crab so at 340 we arrived to a fresh pan we ate it up by us three and they told us no more crab today ... can u believe this crap? the lady said I ate mutch and held her hands out wide.... freakn rude good bye ill never go back... how do you have only one pan of crab ? im shocked don't know what happened here????? read more

Really good food here! The best part of this buffet is their sushi! I love the spicy tuna roll and they're little bite size sushi rolls. Their chow mein is excellent as well. The only thing I don't really like is that their decor is very outdated and the waiters watch you like a hawk as you eat. There's a sign on the buffet windows that if you waste food you will be charged an extra $5 to your bill. Their green tea icecream is pretty good as well read more

I actually think the food here isn't that bad, especially price wise. It's a good mix of American food with Chinese. The only reason I'm giving this 4/5 is because of the staff, they don't really make you feel welcome, they stare you down while you eat, and it's damn near impossible to get a refill from them (the machine isn't accessible to customers). read more

Wow, with $6.5 for lunch you got all kind of seafood, all you can eat. shrimp, oyster, salmon, clam, calamari beside chinese dish like orange chicken, chicken pepper, pizza n desert. what else u can expect with $.6.5 ? the waiter removed your dirty dish very quickly and keep pouring you free refill drink. Me and my boyfriend have been regulars here for a year and the food is in the middle, but its quick and cheap, and they do quickly refill and take your plates. I guess it's there culture to reach over your plate to grab others while your still eating and they kind of make you feel awkward and stare at you, but then again I guess it's just a different culture.
