Although the lead plumber came to the site, he left without speaking to me, and I was unaware that the visit had taken place until I later received a phone call with a quotation. During that call, I specifically informed them that my water pipeline is not a standard size and needed to be carefully verified. The representative seemed surprised and stated that they would need to send a technician again to take proper measurements. This immediately raised concerns about what had been done during the initial visit and how a quote could have been prepared without confirming the pipe dimensions. A second site visit was conducted, photos were provided, and the quote was increased based on new findings. After two inspections, I reasonably assumed that all measurements had been properly verified and that the revised quote was final. Based on that understanding, I proceeded to schedule the pipe replacement. However, on the scheduled workday, after the job had already begun, they measured the pipe again and informed me that the quote would need to be increased by $1,000 due to a measurement error. Even more concerning, after presenting this adjustment, they left to check on supplies and returned with yet another $1,000 increase--despite there being no change in scope or new circumstances. A few minutes later, I received an additional call requesting another $600, stating that they needed a specific fitting to connect my 1¼-inch water leak monitor to the 2-inch pipeline--sizes they were already aware of when preparing the quote. At that point, I decided to cancel the work. Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing. Repeatedly revising the quote due to measurement errors--especially after multiple site visits and prior confirmation of pipe sizes and scope--demonstrates a serious lack of accuracy, coordination, and professionalism.

It was rather late in the day on Saturday so I just turned the water off and decided to deal with the problem on Monday. So, on Monday, I did a drive-by to assess the situation and discovered another area where water was bubbling to the surface and resulted in quite a large muddy spot. Well now, my head just hurt. So I turned to Yelp to look up 'Plumbers' and started reading reviews and I noticed that Rapid Action Rooter had sooooo many positive comments. I sent a message through Yelp describing the problem and a few minutes later I received a reply from the owner. I called Mandel, the owner, and he said he could come out that afternoon. That was yesterday. Mandel and his assistant were waiting for me when I arrived, both dressed in uniform with company info on the shirt. After I showed him the problem areas he and partner got to work. Mandel discovered there was a hole--more of a slit, in the middle of this piece of copper pipe (buried about 3 feet underground )--so weird. Have NO idea how could've happened...or WHEN! Mandel explained the damaged portion of the pipe needed to be removed and replaced, welded back together. He was transparent about the price and method of payment--uses Zelle, which is super convenient! During our conversation, though, I mentioned some other jobs that needed to be completed in the home. Well, before I could say, "do you know anyone who does...?", Mandel was telling me about his drywall & paint guy, his flooring guy, his electrical guy. But more than merely tell me about the tradesmen, he actually called them before he left so that I could coordinate a day/time to meet with them AND Mandel told them that HE would text them my contact information. What??!! I felt an incredible sense of relief knowing that most, if not all, of the remaining projects in the house will be completed. And it's because I had the great fortune---blessing, actually, of meeting Mandel. I would select Mandel and Rapid Action Rooter Plumbing again and again!!! He's the best!!!

Plumbing issues are always stressful, and being a woman, I am always wary that I am being up charged for the costs. Our sewer line was backed up so I had a plumbing company come to the house to inspect and clear the blockage. They charged me a ridiculous amount and did not even complete the job. Then they wanted additional payment for them to come back to complete the work and said it would take them (2) weeks. I decided to try another company and found New Line Plumbing and Rooter. We used Don and his staff to solve a drainage issue around our garage. We needed an ejection pump to pump out the water that flowed from our driveway and patio into our garage. This involved digging a well for the pump, pulling out 100 foot of pavers to install a pipe to run the water to the street. Their estimate was lower than the others I received and they were willing to come out fast. They did the work in two days--even finishing at 6:30pm on the second day to make sure it was done right. Everything looks great and you'd never know they installed a pump or pipe under our pavers. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has a similar problem. They were great. read more

I called Zlatko about a year ago to…read moreroot out a blocked sewer line, and he took a video of the pipe and showed me that there were lots of cracks and that it would probably need to be replaced soon. He never tried to pressure me, but he was right. A year later it was blocked again, so this time I called him to do the permanent fix. He was able to come out the same day with a crew and start work. It was a big job, involving rooting out the clay pipe leading to the street, and then relining it. I was worried they would have to excavate the whole pipe, but they only had to dig a small hole and was able to insert a liner into the pipe to ensure a good seal. The next day they came back to finish the job, replacing a length of old cast iron pipe under the house. I can't say enough good things about Z and his crew. He is prompt, kept me updated as the work progressed, and he and his crew did meticulous work - even down to replacing the plants they dug up in the exact same spots! This was a big job - and expensive - but Z's price was more than fair. I won't hesitate to call him again. If you have a sewer line problem call Z - you'll be happy you did.
