##3 Two Cheese Enchiladas Combination Platter

Nondescript hole in the wall hidden away in a strip mall. No frills. Complimentary chips and interesting salsa. Little watery. I love hatch chilis and ordered the enchiladas with green hatch chili sauce. The sauce was very flavorful & earthy w just a hint of spice. Def recommend. Reasonably priced, fast service. It's always nice to have New Mexican cuisine.

First off, how do I not know about this place?? Really great New Mexico style cuisine. I appreciate the smoked hatch chiles. I got their green chile pork burrito smothered in green sauce and it was perfect. Not too hot with a lot of flavor. The place is a little small and no sign on the building but those are the best places. Will definitely be back and service was awesome!

Fry bread with pork... maybe it was beef. It was the wife's. She said it was very good and plenty to fill up anyone.

Dropped by just before closing, but the meal was great and they didn't try to rush us out. We saw on TikTok a clip of this place and had to give it a try. Lots of New Mexico flavors and so much to try. We tried the fry bread , one Carne Asada and another was a green chili pork... but think. Very tasty. Cute little shop with super service . Everyone was super friendly. Certainly with the trip. This fry bread is not like the Navajo Fry bread, it's a little denser but still tasty.

Place is ok. Service is great, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. Was told by a neighbor that this is a great place to come try. I asked the server what is their top menu item and she said the Chili Pork Burrito. So I ordered it and it came out with sauce on top, like an enchilada. Meat was dry too. I hope other items on the menu is better but this as overall disappointing.

This place rocks! The food was awesome, the service was great, and the pricing is perfect. I went there with the intention of getting a green chile plate. I'm glad I asked how hot it was, and they answered honestly and said pretty hot. I tried some from my brother-in-laws plate and boy was it hot! Very tasty though. I ended up with the red chile plate and a beef taco which were both perfect. I'll definitely be back. Thanks guys!

This is a small diner-type restaurant. Step right up to the counter and place your order after perusing the extra-large menu. I love the Fry Bread (topped with ground beef, I get it with a side of red sauce) and my husband loves the Huevos Rancheros (with Christmas sauce). Both are delicious and served up hot. We have only come here for breakfast, I imagine the lunch options are just as tasty.

This is not fry bread I ended up scraping the toppings off and threw it away.

New Mexican Grill has always been our go to place for fry bread.. we are so beyond disappointed it tasted doughy (uncooked), thick as a pizza had no flavor! Has something changed New Mexican Grill?

Whoa, so we came here for Date Night, normally we have it on Sunday but this location is closed on Sunday's. Worth the wait. Janna ordered the Bean and Cheese Fry Bread and I ordered the Machaca Fry Bread! It was so good, we had so much food, we brought half of it home. The staff here is great, it's a sit down restaurant kinda but not really but they make you feel super welcome and come and check on you from time to time. I asked for Hot Sauce and he brought me a bottle of it, it was super spicy but the good spicy where it had heat but still an excellent flavor. My meal was good before but this added like a +3! I'll 100% ask for it the next time we come back. Janna liked it as well, so we ordered a quart to go! So worth it. This place rocks, we will definitely be back. Janna and I have a friendly competition to see who can have a better date night, this was a no brained Janna wins!

    Carne Asada Fries

My husband has tried this place but the family had not, so for his birthday we ordered for pick up last night. There were six of us and we got the carne asada fries, some variations of fry bread, chicken taquitos, sopaipillas, a carne asada burrito, and chicken tacos. All of it was fresh and excellent. We have a couple of refried bean connoisseurs in the group and they raved about them. Same for the carne asada fries - not something I ever order but the two people who got them said they were the best they've had. We usually get Someburro's for fast casual Mexican, but I think this place will be our go to now. Someburro's is still solid but this food felt more flavorful and fresh.

Another must have My friend ordered the Aztec Cake and insisted I'd regret not getting it. She was absolutely right. It was bomb and Torrance offered us a side of chips .TY. I ordered the short rib. I warmed it up later and it was delicious a second time so no complaints. Excellent service, delicious drinks, and a fun way to spend the Fourth. We'll definitely be back!

We were 1 of 6 tables. one table was a group of 8. They do things differently than most Mexican restaurants. The server brings your chips instead of someone bringing the chips right away. Hubby got a house margarita, I got Sangria. Hubby got the tamale plate with hatch green sauce. I got a chicken chimichanga plate, no sauce. The drinks were good. The chips & dips were good. You get 4 dips with the chips. There is a bean dip, salsa, green chili dip & a white dip. The bean dip was good. Hubby loved the green chili dip. The salsa & white dip were good. Unfortunately for me both were a little too spicy. I don't do much spice at all. The food came out quickly & hot. The rice was really good. The refried beans were good, but a little runny. Hubby really liked his tamales. My chimichanga was good as well. It was stuffed with lots of chicken, but the chicKen didn't have any seasoning. Someone said the sangria was not homemade in one of the reviews. I drink sangria anywhere they have it. I have had sangria from the bottle & theirs is not out of the bottle. It was just the wait to get to go containers & the bill. It was a really long wait since she was so busy. Hubby ended up grabbing containers since they were in view. The reasons for 4 stars is the wait. They need more servers for all the tables they have. Also the lack of seasoning in all the food.

Blanco seemed like it would be a good choice, however I enjoyed it more than I anticipated. Sitting at the bar, service was pretty good. The bartenders were busy making drinks at times, but overall were attentive. The queso was delicious! We started with the appetizer sized serving and the chips were very good with a thick texture and good crunch. We saved some of the queso, intending to use it for dipping with the mixed grill fajitas we split. I will put that queso on anything, it's tasty! On the mixed grill fajitas platter, the carne asada was the item we enjoyed the least. The shrimp was definitely my favorite. Perfectly juicy and grilled, and had a great sauce over the top, it's labeled as spicy but I didn't find it to be too spicy, it just had a good flavor. The chicken was very juicy and then the steak was okay. I would definitely come back to try the short rib tacos, as other reviewers said were pretty tasty. Blanco reminded me of yummy Tex-Mex restaurants I've had in Texas, although its description is Sonoran Mexican food. Maybe it depends on the dish ordered. Either way, both are delicious food styles. And my rating reflected my overall enjoyment of the green chili queso, fresh chips & salsa, and juicy shrimp. I think the difference between 4-5 stars for me, comes down to having a nice ambiance, attentive service, and some items standing out. My cocktail was decent, however I wouldn't order that particular margarita again, I don't love mescal but I keep trying drinks that have it because I do like cocktails that have a note of the mescal flavor not the predominant taste. I did check with the bartenders before I ordered it and let them know, they said it's mild mescal taste, but I think it was pretty strong. We had missed happy hour by coming in 530pm, it ends at 5pm. I'd like to come back next time for HH. And thank goodness they are smart enough to provide free 2 hour parking in the Novus garage close by . That makes so much sense for customers. Some reviewers said the restaurant doesn't have any parking options besides valet. Unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment. We arrived about an hour before closing and sat down as we normally do. While I was walking to the restroom, which is located past the kitchen area, I heard a server/bartender we've seen several times before ask the cook, in an obviously annoyed tone, if two people had just arrived. When he said yes, she responded, "Who the fuck!?" The cook then looked directly at me. At that point, I honestly felt extremely uncomfortable and wanted to leave. We decided to stay since my boyfriend had already ordered a beer, but the experience immediately felt different. We felt like our presence was an inconvenience simply because we came in an hour before closing. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it. We ordered the beef skewers and a burger. The skewers were okay, but they were not nearly as good as we remembered them being. The burger, however, arrived completely cold. What makes this especially disappointing is that we used to really enjoy coming here. We understand that being close to closing time can be frustrating for a restaurant, but customers should still feel welcomed, especially when they are coming in well before closing and have supported the restaurant in the past. We really hope this was just a bad night, because we genuinely used to love coming here. But after this experience, we unfortunately left feeling very disappointed.
