Veggies and noodles on the left. All meats mixed with cilantro on the right. They offered pork, beef, chicken, or veal.

Great place. Unique dining experience. Similar to hibachi for the in sure or food shy people. Food was fresh and tasted great. So many sauce options even the pickiest eater can enjoy. We sat outside the ambiance of carton street pedestrian zone was great.

Loved this place! My brother was visiting for the holidays and always was a big fan of Mongolian Bbq style. Did some searching and found this place, and this place did not disappoint! The restaurant layout was perfect and accommodated my huge family comfortably. There is no limit on the buffet other than 2 bowls at a time and no take out for left overs. They have all the good topping options! Lots of great fresh veggies, tofu, noodles, and then the meats are thinly sliced and frozen which is typical for mongolian bbq. Lots of great sauce options! Also included is fresh steam rice and soft served ice cream. For adults it's $23.99 and kids $11.99, which is not bad at all especially if you can eat more than one plate. Service was on top of everything, kept filling up our water pitchers and picking up empty plates. Seen them cleaning and refilling the buffet often. Highly recommend coming here, such a fun and delicious experience.

My bf and his friends have been coming here for years and we were able to eat here after my LASIK follow up appointment. I used to go to a spot in Concord for Mongolian bbq so I was pretty excited to try this place out for the first time. We both got two plates of food for only $19.99 a person! The ice cream was also pretty good and came with the price of our meal. If we had more room, we probably would have eaten another one.

I liked the available options to select from. Too bad they didn't offer rice noodles though. There were a good selection of meats, veggies, and sauces. They provide you with recipes of which sauces to mix of you aren't sure. It's fun to make your own choices and watch them cook your food. You can eat as much as you want so my brother and I went back two or three times. I was happy to eat lots of protein. Plus there's soft serve ice cream for dessert. The place was half full at about 6:15pm on a Thursday night. We sat outside and enjoyed the evening. Everyone left very full.

We had a lot of family in town for the holidays and wanted to try a different Mongolian place. We walked in with a party of 17 and the staff was quick to accommodate and stayed on top of clearing our table, etc. The items were refilled often so everything was available and our line moved along even though there was only one person on the grill. Everyone was happy with the food and the service. Also a plus that it is located across from a Paris Baguette for more dessert.

It's all you can eat. Friday night dinner, $21.99 a person. They have meat: chicken, lamb, pork, & beef, and vegetables: chestnuts, tofu, broccoli, bean sprouts, green peppers, onions and a few more to choose from. I would put meat in one bowl and vegetables in the other so you know what you have. The noodles are at the end. Then there's ladles of sauce to choose from. You bring up your raw food and the guy at the end puts it on a big round grill and cooks it up for you. My son complains he puts all the sauces on and the cook waters it all down when he pours his pitcher of water over it while cooking because the sauces are already watered down and the flavor isn't strong enough. There is a pot of rice and egg rolls too, if you prefer rice instead of noodles. I think it's okay occasionally but my family really likes Mongolian bbq.

So glad to have found an ayce Mongolian bbq spot close by. Back in college, we had a Mongolian grill and it was one of my favorite options when everything else didn't quite fit my taste buds. There's a variety of meats and veggies to choose from along with amazing sauces and spices to flavor up your noods. They also have a soft serve machine to definitely save some space Staff is very friendly and the chef is quick so you'll have a hot bowl of noodles ready in no time. It's a very spacious restaurant so plenty of spots to chose from

Tried out this AYCE mongolian bbq place for Friday dinner and had some nice seating outdoors. It's fully shaded with a light breeze, and some guy playing piano (probably only on Friday evenings) making for a nice ambiance. Food is all picked yourself using one or two bowls and then mixed and cooked by their chef on the stove. You can go back all you want, and they have an ice cream machine with cones for dessert. Most of the food was decent, a couple ingredients were questionable on their quality/freshness like the pineapple. Ice cream was a bit more like donut cream tasting, but all the food was still acceptable. Service was very fast and friendly.

We came on a Friday at lunch time and we were the only two people in the place. It reminded us of the Santa Clara location that closed down. The food was great, just how we remembered. The service was great, very friendly, very quick and efficient. We will be coming back with friends and family. They even have ice cream!

The food is amazing!!! Well, you can get one or two bowls. For me, I got two bowls. One for the meat and one for the noodles since the noodles would be hard to fit with the meat. There is a recommendation for the sauce for your meat but I prefer to do it yourself and it will taste amazing!!! If you like corn, I low-key do not get it with your Mongolian BBQ because once it is cooked it is super hard to bite. The service is okay. The chef cooking your meal is super nice and will get your food as quickly as possible which is a plus. However, I was annoyed that the cashier gave us only two napkins when there is three of us. To me, it sounds like he was very stingy with giving napkins. Like why are you only giving us a few napkins? This is worth trying if you want some AYCE Mongolian BBQ

One of the most affordable AYCE options in the Bay Area! Had a great dine-in experience here for a Sunday dinner- the staff were super friendly and let us cook multiple bowls of ingredients since we came in near closing so we could keep eating past closing time. Solid selection of protein (beef, chicken, pork, lamb, tofu) and vegetables. The chef was so efficient and cooked the meat perfectly. Pretty casual dining environment, and other than the cooked ingredient bowls, there are eggrolls, rice, and vanilla ice cream available for AYCE as well. Amazing value, definitely will be back!

My meal with lots of bean, sprouts and mushrooms, so delicious.

He went for the brisket with a side of mac and cheese, while I opted for the ribs and creamed corn. Everything was delicious, and as a bonus, we got complimentary cornbread since it was our first visit. The staff were all super friendly, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere here is really cool. It's an open-air restaurant with fans to keep things comfortable, plus an open bar. They have this amazing sauce station with a bunch of options, from honey mustard and spicy BBQ to sweeter choices, along with pickles and jalapeños. We grabbed some beers from the tap. I stuck with my usual lagers. There are huge TVs both outside and by the bar, making it a great spot to catch a game or just relax. The only slight hiccup was that we arrived a bit late, around 7 PM on a Thursday, with closing at 8 PM. One staff member was cleaning up near our table and seemed a little eager for us to leave, making some noise while we were finishing up. We were already getting ready to go, so it was just a minor thing. But honestly, that was the only downside; everyone else was lovely. We both got the barbecue bowls, which include one meat and one side, and two of them came to $38. They call them "small," but we found the portions to be really generous! Overall, it's a super relaxed place with a chill, slightly dive-y feel, perfect for unwinding and maybe even catching some sun. The creamed corn was the best thing on the menu and we would absolutely come back just for that!

It was pretty crowded as the USA vs Australia World Cup match was on. Although they were super busy, the service from start to finish was wonderful! Service Grade: A I went with the 3 meat plate that comes with 2 sides. I ordered the pork ribs, brisket, and hot links for the meats. I asked for brussel sprouts and creamed corn as my sides. Overall, the food was all very tasty. The meats could have been a much warmer temperature. I felt like it was not just pulled out of the smoker. This could have been the time of day I was there so I will give them another chance. The creamed corn was my favorite. It was piping hot even after 10 minutes and had a great creaminess to it. The brisket and hot links were my two favorite meats. Grade: B+ I tried all four sauces. My favorite blend was the Diablo sauce mixed with the Sweet sauce. Grade: A Although I did not try the dessert, all of the options looked fantastic. For the Peninsula, Capelo's is a solid choice for barbecue.I will definitely be back for more. My cousin said there is a beef rib on weekends. (That is definitely my joint!)

He was super attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for us. The food was honestly incredible. It's hard to even pick favorites because literally everything was so good, but if I had to choose, the mac and cheese, cornbread, and ribs definitely stood out. The ribs were suuuuper juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. I'm really picky about mac and cheese, but theirs was SO good -- creamy, flavorful, and with chunks of meat mixed in that made it even better. The cornbread was moist with the perfect amount of sweetness. And the BBQ sauces?? So dang good that I ended up buying two bottles to take home with me. I ordered one of their meal packages, plus some extras on the things we needed more of. the meal package was supposed to include 2 types of bbq sauce plus ranch for the wings. they didn't give us any of the bbq sauces or the ranch. considering they charge $5 each for sides of sauces, that's $15 they shorted me. so we had dry chicken wings with nothing to dip them in... which means nobody wanted to eat them. there's another $25 I was out. we ended up having to use the bottled sauces that I bought as a gift... another $20 gone. pulled pork was fine. the brisket was pretty tough. my dad usually loves leftovers and didn't want to keep any of it... so that said a lot about the meal all by itself. the positives (?): cornbread was pretty good. wolf turds were good (though crazy expensive for what they are - only 2 come in an order for over $10). mac and cheese was good, though it has far less meat than it used to. all in all, not a positive experience. seems like they've really gone downhill. if you order to go, check your order carefully before you leave. they had everything ready when I got there and had tied the bags shut (double knotted), so it would have been hard to get them open. do yourself a favor tho and take the time to open each bag. it sucks to get all the way home and find key items were left out.
