An establishment around since 1958 I believe, actually has parking and a cash only establishment. A hoppin' hot spot well known in the neighborhood as well as perhaps any New Yorker worth their salt. Lots of visually stimulating stuff to watch as you enjoy your slice. Barebones, no frills or excess.... Just a really good slice.
Perfect little pizza pit stop when you're out running errands and need something quick but satisfying. This is the kind of place where you can grab a couple of slices and keep it moving without feeling heavy or overly full afterward. The crust is thin and crisp, exactly how I like it, and the cheese is really good and well-balanced. I personally would've loved a little more sauce, but even with that, the pizza was still very enjoyable overall. Service here is fast and efficient, which makes it ideal for a quick bite. Everyone was straight to the point but friendly. Seating-wise, they have indoor seating and also outdoor tables for warmer days, which is a nice option if you want to sit and enjoy your slice. Overall, a solid go-to pizza spot when you want something simple, tasty, and easy without the commitment of a full sit-down meal. Definitely worth stopping by if you're nearby. Just keep in mind that this spot is cash only.
Cash only establishment. Quick service and nice employees. This place is considered to be one of the best pizza shops in the area, and they certainly do not disappoint. Try the cheese pizza! In my opinion, it was the best one. I also tried the pepperoni pizza but found it to be way too greasy. Overall, a classic spot to grab a slice.
New Park Pizza still making the quintessential NY pizza by the slice or pie. It's just basic real deal NY round pie/ Neapolitan pizza people come here for. When on any main road going east or west north of here.. drop down and definitely bucket list for the basic but essential pizza slice. Oldish place with no frills.. and part of the charm.
Parking is easy, on the side and back of the building. Near the airport, on our way out we stopped in for a couple slices. I got white, very affordable and generous with the ricotta and garlic for $5.50. My coworker got cheese. We had one slice each and decided we had to have another. So good! The dough is chewy in the best possible way. I could've eaten more but we had a flight to catch. Worth the stop today! Support small businesses. Of note: cash only!
New Park Pizza is a Queens staple and arguably one of the best spots to grab a slice in the borough. I tried both a regular slice and an everything slice, and both were absolutely delicious with a crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and perfectly melted cheese. Service was fast and efficient, so you won't be waiting long for your order. The pizzeria offers both indoor and outdoor seating, though space is limited and outdoor seating is seasonal. The ambiance is casual, making it an easy, no-frills spot to enjoy great pizza. If you're in Queens and craving a quality slice, this place is a must-visit.
Been going to this place for years. Pizza is never hard or stale. Pizza is constantly being made fresh. Not a huge selection but I always get a white slice or a plain pie. Good classic pizza. Staff always friendly. Usually order to- go. Space can get tight at times but staff moves fast. Only down fall is that it's cash only and I never have cash but thankfully there's a chase bank right next door .

The spot was moderately crowded and we sat in back which had a good amount of tables and I would say the majority of folks there did take out. I had a mushroom slice which was $4.75 compared to the usual slices which are $3.50. The mushrooms were different than other spots being a different type but they were quite wet for whatever reason. The pizza itself had a lot of flop to it with the bottom presumably due to lack of char. The tomato sauce was better than the average slice being not super sweet with a good tomato base while the cheese was standard. Outside of the good size and reasonable price, the pizza here was just fine. Mid/low 3 being nothing too notable but would be good as a neighborhood joint. New Park Pizza has been in Howard Beach since 1962. Yes, you've heard of it. Check your mid 1980s history. It's still there. We decided to have dinner here on a Friday evening after a drop off at JFK. There's a to-go window in front but there's also indoor seating and another counter. We ate in. We got a full pizza with half sausage and half pepperoni. I wasn't expecting much but this was a delicious slice. We followed the online wisdom that said to order this well done and it still came out extremely fast! There was a nice amount of char on the crust. It was salty and a little greasy. It had everything I wanted in a basic NY slice. Don't expect artisanal toppings or fresh mozz. It's a busy place! Constant stream of people coming and going and ordering. The kitchen is small and there's a lot of people in here doing their thing. I'll be back!
Stopped by here before going to the airport. This place is cash only which was a bit annoying. Other than that we got the plain, white and square slice. The best one out of all three was the white slice but idk if the price justifies it. The red sauce is salty if you like that I prefer a tangy sweet sauce. Service was quick and there are tables inside and outside to eat.
Had a few hours to kill during an NYC layover, so I decided to ditch the airport and just stumbled into a random pizza place. I was not disappointed. This is the real deal--the classic New York slice you expect from the movies, totally spot on. Everything's made fresh and ready to go in less than 15 minutes. The prices are totally decent, and the service is super fast and friendly. It was a total win and the perfect way to spend a quick afternoon. Seriously, what more could you possibly need?

Just landed back in NY (my old stomping ground) and after some BS pizza chain pizza at the airport at the start of my journey I knew I needed the real thing when I landed. Thank God they are open till midnight. Still some of the best NY pizza you will ever have. This place is the bomb. I used to look forward to my sales calls that would bring me anywhere close enough to stop for 2 slices. Just so good. Thanks guys. You made my day. read more
New Park Pizza is one of my favorite spots for great Pizza. It's a classic CASH ONLY Pizza joint. Doesn't bother me.. They're always busy and serve pies as well as slices! The Pizza is soooo delicious.. Seriously.. Their sauce recipe is definitely one of a kind and has a great flavor. They don't overdo the cheese or sauce. They have the perfect cheese to sauce ratio. The under crust wasn't super crispy.. The outer crust had a bit of crispness but was mostly soft, chewy and altogether it hits nicely! I had 2 slices easily.. Could've done 3 but I kept it cool at 2.. Whenever I'm in the area there's no way I'm not stopping by for this incredibly delicious pizza So if you wanna have one of NYC's best Pizzas hit this spot. A Howard Beach institution and legendary pizza joint. This is also one of my spots. Easily Top 3. I've never eaten inside at the restaurant, but I've had the pizza plenty. It can get very crowded, especially during the summer, but they are a well oiled machine and you won't be left waiting forever for a slice of pizza. I'd suggest calling ahead if you want a pie (and ask for it well done). Every time I go to JFK or I have a little bit of extra time when passing through the area (if I'm in 45 minutes of it, I'm going - worth it) I'll make it a point to get over here. I always get a well done regular slice and a white slice to eat and a pie of each to go. They have the best white slice out of any/every pizzeria I've been to. It's slightly buttery, slightly garlicky, with a crispy thin crust and it's never dry. If you like a white slice, you have to get one here. Their regular slice is terrific. Yes, it can be floppy, but all you have to do is ask for it well done - it's what all the regulars do. It has a robust sauce, great cheese/sauce ratio, and there's something about their dough that pulls it all together. Crispy, but with a little chew, but not enough to give your jaw a workout. This is a NY pizza must-go-to destination. Give it a shot. read more

If you're ever in Queens, this is the pizza spot to try! It's a bit of a trek if you're not from the neighborhood but it's so worth it and the guys are great! We live 5 minutes away and calling for pick up is a breeze. They have good amount of parking so you'll never have to worry making circles. Tip: when you order your pie or slice, ask for it well done. Regular tends to be soggy in the middle. read more

All of their pizza is extremely fresh and homemade with the best ingredients. their regular slice has the perfect ratio of sauce and cheese. Their crust has a hint of salt that adds unique flavoring and ties the pie together! We recommend ordering a whole pie. cause it's just that good! However they also do slices as well. They have a few specialty pies, but regular is the way to go We've been coming in for years after a friends recommendation and absolutely fell in love! Great pizza, great service, has its own parking lot, which is good, it's cash only, basically, they just serve pizzas regular and Sicilian, they do have various toppings, sometimes white pizza and calzones, a lot of people do takeout, but there is seating in the back, People were coming in and out very friendly with the staff and owners,,, Tells you the clientele they built up over the years, stapled in the neighborhood, pizza was delicious, light crispy and crunchy, My favorite was the Sicilian slice read more

I loved new park pizza! Super close to the airport and friendly service. The place is cash only which is neat because I am sure this helps keep their pricing low and affordable for their community. The ambiance is very laid back and perfect for a pizza date. Very limited seating on the inside and plenty of seating on the front and outside for a quick bite. Happy to experience this place. New Park Pizza is a Howard Beach gem. It truly stands out with the best pizza in town. The thin crust is perfect and you might want to try it well done too. This place has become my go-to for late-night pizza runs. There's not a lot of seating inside but it's nice to sit at the outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Service is fast. Immediately after getting into JFK I needed a good New York City slice and I remembered New Park Pizza. I had it many years ago and I always say I haven't had a better pizza since. Headed straight there in rush hour traffic but it was so worth it, placed an order over the phone and it was ready in a timely manner. The place is cash only and the staff is very friendly. This is just an opinion about their pizza, I've never eaten their other food (I don't even know if they serve anything else besides pizza), but it's either you love or hate New Park's pizza. After Covid, they built some sort of covering, so now you can eat in front of the place, on the benches, instead of outside in the cold. It might still be cold. Idk. There was always this rumor that they had someplace in the back to sit and eat. Idk if that's true or not, either. I'm taking it's not. I don't recall them ever being super friendly as far as service when I have gone. Again, I know ppl who swear by their pizza. It just isn't for everyone. It never looked that appetizing but when other ppl you roll with want it and outnumber you, you try it, for the umteenth time, hoping for different results, but it's not for everyone. read more
This Pie is Mana from heaven. Service was friendly. Ambiance was classic. The pizza was to die for. I wish i lived close to this place i would literally eat this pizza 3 nights a week. Amazing very authentic New York pizza. This gem is a little hidden but definitely worth the trip out. It's reasonably priced and everything is made super fresh. This is good NY style pizza. Simple, crispy, amazing crust, flavorful sauce (but not too much) and a good salty cheese. I got a regular slice and a white slice, they both came out piping hot. This spot is only cash and is definitely more of a take out spot. They have a few picnic tables and although the spot is covered, it is more of a truck with a patio style covering. This spot has been here for years and I am glad I finally went to try. read more

First taste of a New York slice after landing at JFK at midnight! Note that they accept cash only. Got the classic regular slice right out of the oven. So good when eating it hot! The crust is the best part! Service was quick and instead of serving the slice straight from the pie sitting on the counter, the guy put our slice back to the oven for about two minutes. Thank you for that extra two minutes! It made the whole difference read more

I personally rate this spot 8/10. i tried a lot of pizza spots and this is one of my favorite go to for pizza. if you want a great pizza without breaking the bank i would recommend coming here. i'm a plain cheese guy so i always get a large pie to go. this place is cash only but they have a chase right next to it and a small parking lot. i believe large pie is $23. Tip: they sometimes lightly burn the pizza so i call them and tell them don't burn the pizza, i guess it will be not too well done. read more

Yes they have inside in front of the counter and a back inside area as well as a nice little outside seating area . It's available during their normal business hours .

No. The pizzeria, nor the family that owns it, were involved in that incident in 1986.
Has the delivery radius changed ? I live off the South Conflduit, and all of a sudden they no long deliver to my address. It's 1.2 miles away, I have walked it.
I’m sorry but I can’t help with that. I live on Long Island. I’m only on Crossbay Blvd. once or twice/year. Just for NPP. Give them a call or ask them next time you’re in for a slice.
