Well this place has been going down hill for quite awhile . I think we have hit the bottom . All $50 of our food was totally tasteless. The salt and pepper shrimp were as bland as come be. These spring rolls were equally tasteless. For the vibrant place I remember around 2010 this is a poor shadow of it self. Rest in Peace. read more

I was wanting some Asian food and quick... if you are the same its not bad. The service is good and very quick. However, the food isn't great (although, it isn't terrible). Additionally, there seemed to be an unsettling level of uncleanliness. The tables were sticky and the men's restroom was awful. True rating: 2.75 Wouldn't recommend it unless you are very hungry and need some Asian food ASAP. read more

Chinese food just isn't worth it anywhere on the Cape and this place is no exception. We got one of everything: Lo mein, fried rice, General Gao's chicken, king pao chicken, spicy beef, pu pu platter, crab Rangoon, scallion pancakes, Peking ravioli, soup dumplings. Basically inedible. Overall I enjoyed my takeout. The PuPu Platter was well prepared and tasted very good. The Duck Sauce seemed like it could have been made on site, not bought. Pork Fried Rice has a good flavor although the rice was slightly undercoocked...and I mean slightly. The General's Chicken was by far the biggest disappointment. I've never seen such big pieces of chicken used, but that's an observation and not a critique. The problem was with the sauce. It was more like a gravy and was kind of tasteless. Will return and stick to the appetizers and the rice. If they are anything like what I had this visit, I'll be quite happy. read more

I had delivery last weekend from Doordash. Everything was very greasy; including the crab rangoons & their egg rolls were dripping with it & there was hardly anything else bit cabbage. They looked like they had been fried twice because the skin was so wet. The teriyaki steak sticks were bare an inch wide, very thin, & about 3.5 inches. That & everything else went in the trash. FYI the building is 4sale & I heard today its going to be a "Shaking Crab". read more

This review is for my Mai Tai and Pu PU platter for one. The drink was a perfect 10. Delicious and strong. The PuPu Platter was delicious. It was $12 for a copious amount of chicken fingers, wings, eggroll, spare ribs on the bone and crab rangoon. The latter were the best I have ever had. The egg rolls was also a spectacular. Service A+. But please lower the lights in the restaurant. Get a lighting professional in their instead of National Grid guY giving away Compact fluorescent bulbs. Falmouth has a strong bar culture. Haven't been to this location in years due to the change in ownership. Heard the previous owners are back and decided to give it another try. The service and food were excellent. Worst restaurant, bar none, I have ever been to. Nothing was edible. They do not know how to cook anything. Even the duck sauce was watered down! All meats were overcooked, tough and not seasoned at all. Forget anything deep fat fried. The fried shrimp were as hard as a rock. Noodles were either under or overcooked. How can you mess up an egg roll or a spare rib? They buy the cheapest ingredients, do not know how to cook or season anything and yet they are still in business. Don't get it. read more

The food was terrible and delivery service was terrible! I'm staying in a hotel, as soon as the delivery guy called me I made my way to meet him at the door. The delivery guy literally left my food outside hotel stating that he was way too busy to hand it to me. Anyone could have taken my food.. Won't be ordering from here again! read more

Pretty decent Chinese food we got the pupu platter for 2 no complain there everything was pretty good. We also go the general gaus chicken, chicken and shrimp pad Thai, captain fried rice, soft shell crab, and the lobster sauce. All of our main dishes were pretty good no complaints besides the captain fried rice it was a bit salty with the black paste that was in it. We'll definitely come back again. read more

I see some mixed review, so wanted to share my recent experiences. During COVID, I've been ordering take out for myself and family, mostly sushi, and some Chinese menu items from time to time. It's on my way to and from some local errands, so I've picked up lunch and dinner about a dozen times in the past month. Most orders are sushi focused. We've been pleased with every order. The maki and sashimi has all been freshly prepared, and with care in the details and presentation. My personal favorite is the Idaho roll, a vegetarian sweet potato option -- great flavor and texture. Nothing is over priced for the quality or portion in our opinions, and the lunch specials are an especially good value; soup and salads are included at a reasonable lunch menu pricing. The Chinese items we've ordered have been good too, but have been somewhat basic lo mien or rice dishes. Good, but I think they shine most in the Japanese menu. The internet ordering is easy and clear... but occasionally a bit slower than phone ordering, as I've had a hiccup or two with that. So, considering the quality, price, and my interactions with staff, I recommend giving them a try if you are in the neighborhood. read more

We used to get sushi take out from this place pretty often. Food quality was good (as good as any other sushi at the cape) and ok prices. Always placed orders online. Last couple of times, they wouldn't start putting together our order until we would arrive at the restaurant...so we would be stuck there, waiting for 20+ minutes, even though order was placed way before and restaurant was near empty. Went here for lunch with my daughter while visiting. My daughter asked for lo mein noodles so went here after the arcade. I ordered the crispy beef entree and a beef fried rice. The crispy beef was delicious. I was not impressed with the fried rice, nothing special about it. My daughter loved her noodles. I would try this place out again as they had a lot of dishes I wanted to try but I settled on the crispy beef. I can always eat my dish with white rice rather than ordering fried rice. read more

I took my husband to this beautiful restaurant on Fathers Day because he requested it since we had been here before. He is allergic to MSG and they do not use it here. We ordered Moo Shi Pork which he loves as an appetizer for $9.50. It only $1.50 more than some of the appetizers and they give you lots of it. I ordered the Beef and Scallops Sizzling Platter and he ordered Happy Family. Everything was delicious. We will be back again in the near future. read more

Our first time eating here and it was fantastic! Clean and nicely decorated. The waitress was lovely. We had gyoza (better than anything we've had in Boston), sushi and they gave us soup dumplings - delicious!! My husband had the best Peking duck ever. Definitely go or get take out. Looking for sushi in Falmouth I found this was the only place available Saturday night. I was sceptical about the combination of chinese food and sushi but dead wrong. I gave it five stars taking into account the location. In Boston it would be a solid 4. Hamachi Kama was top notch, tempura app very nice. Sushi and sashimi all fresh and nicely sized. Very cute hibachi/sushi restaurant! I love the food. It's very fresh since we're near the ocean. The fried rice is amazing and I ate the King Crab Maki roll. It tasted very good but it cost extra to omit the avocado. Our waitress was nice but we had to repeat ourselves a couple of times. Nonetheless she was very nice and gave us our food very quickly and patiently waited to refill our drinks. My boyfriend and I originally were looking for a place to have a drink but the host talked us into having a roll of sushi. We do not regret it! read more

Made for the American palate, but probably the best Chinese food we've had since leaving NYC a year ago, certainly the best we've had in the Falmouth area. As my mom announce on a rainy summers day she would not be cooking dinner, i decided to give new Peking palace a whirl. The veggie lo mein was an absolute winner with moist noodles and crisp bok choy. What sets this place apart from other Chinese restaurants is the amount of sauce they use on their dishes. My go to is the classic beef and broccoli combo with white rice. Some places drown the beef and brocc in the sauce where you can have sauce soup the next day. However, this place has sauce experts (sauceperts). They use just enough sauce to coat the beef and broccoli while also allowing a nice drizzle over the steaming fluffy white rice. Great take out experience over all, hoping to try the egg rolls next time. read more

As a lifelong town resident, I've seen a few iterations of this restaurant come and go. Optimistically tried this restaurant last week, and I was honestly horrified with the quality of the food that I received. The egg rolls contained old fish and cabbage that were grey in color, the mango chicken dinner we received looked rotten and barely had any meat, and the "peanut noodles" we ordered was a small box of noodles with a lump of peanut butter on top. There are other, higher-quality Chinese restaurants in town that cost far less money. The food from this restaurant was absolutely appalling. read more

I was a regular customer at Peking Palace for many years. Haven't been there for quite a while since the restaurant changed the ownership. I ordered take out today. OMG! I had the most difficult time to understand the lady over the phone. It must be a new and unexperienced lady working on the front now. Boneless Spare Ribs were burned, BBQ Spare Ribs were fatty and the meat was still raw. For C9, chicken wings were over burned, two shrimps looked like one tiny muffin been cut into halves and pork fried rice was tasteless with few tiny diced roast pork in it. The whole meal was disgusting and does not worth the money. Never want to give a second try, will go to other restaurants instead. read more

This was by far the worst experience I've had at a restaurant yet. This was my first and my last time I will ever be visiting this establishment. We walked in and it was empty yet it still took 10 minutes for someone to realize we were there and seat us for hibachi. Our server did not know how to understand or even speak decent English so it took the longest time to even order drinks. We all ordered sprite and it came extremely watered down and hardly tasted like sprite at all. When she came to take our food order she started off asking if we wanted lunch or dinner and it being 11:45, we ordered lunch. She did not understand their own menu AT ALL and kept looking at mine as reference and she had me point everything out for her which should not happen. She disappeared for maybe 15-20 more minutes and then brought out the miso soup that came with the lunch, which was very bland. We were mid way with eating the soup when she came back and said "no lunch on Sundays", even though there's no mention of that anywhere on the menu. She then proceeded to literally rip the soup out of my hand as I was eating it and said we'd have to pay extra if we wanted that plus the salad that came with the dinner. It's a bit odd in the first place they'd make the soup if they "don't serve lunch on Sundays" so that was a set off but not as much as her taking it away as I was eating it. We told her they needed to have some indication of this on the menu and she just said "Ok ok" and walked away after we ordered again. We waited another 10 minutes for the smallest salad ever DOUSED in this awful tasting dressing. The chef came out another 10 minutes later and as per usual with hibachi restaurants, gave us the two sauces we'd be having with our food. Both sauces were awful, but the "hot mustard sauce" was just watered down soy sauce and tons of wasabi. I got chicken and he burned it but then tried covering it up by smothering it in sauce which didn't work it just tasted worse. The other two people I was with ordered steak, cooked medium, and it came out way over cooked as well. Our original server never came back but instead, sent someone else to check on us. The service was absolutely awful overall and the food was just as bad. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone and I advise you to stay away. read more

We have lived in Falmouth for many years now. Loved the old Peking Palace, and would go here with my family every weekend. It was such a fun atmosphere with great food. When the new one opened, we tried it again. Every time I come here, I can not even eat my food because of how bad it tastes. This weekend, me and my sister went back again, trying to give it another chance (my bad). I ordered tuna sushi, which was brown and inedible. I didn't even recognize the avocado in it... it was completely brown. We also ordered the Mango Chicken, which seemed like a safe choice. It was extremely slimy and tasted actually rotten. We could not even eat it. The waitress did not check on us or ask what was wrong when we said we do not want to take any of it home. When she brought us the check, it was pretty expensive. We had not eaten any of our food, and had left the rotten Mango Chicken untouched. It literally had purple veins running through it. Instead of complaining, I politely asked if she could take this charge off the bill, because it was not what we expected at all. Our waitress was the woman with the tinted red hair, who immediately began screaming and swearing at me in front of everyone in the restaurant. She screamed that I should not have ordered it if I did not like it. I explained to her that I love Mango chicken, but that the one we received was inedible, slimy and rotten. She continued to throw a temper tantrum and said she would not take it off the bill, as everyone stared at us. She said she would now have to pay for it, as she stomped her feet and ran away crying. We ended up finally getting it taken off, even though she returned to our table and gave us another verbal lashing. It was a really weird experience on top of tasting disgusting. I honestly do not understand how people can seriously eat here it is laughably horrible. read more
