Horrible!! Stay away. Just got an egg roll and won ton soup. No Taste for the egg roll and the broth for their won ton soup tasted like water. Worst food ever. Everybody is just too busy looking at their smartphones. Just go somewhere else!!!!! Never Again!!! Perhaps Union Lotus.

My neighbor and I had a late night craving and called at 10pm for a last minute pick-up order. I was really pleasantly surprised to hear a chipper voice on the other end of the phone (granted it was 30 mins before closing and most places try to turn you away or rush you) The food was ready quickly and everything was hot and delicious. Specifically loved the egg rolls - seasoned well and good crunch, not too oily! My friend also tried the vegetable lo mein which he liked a lot. Definitely will return to try more dishes and will update my review then, but for now, A+++ for quick service, good attitude and yummy food!

Fresh, tasty food. They won't deliver where I live so I drive here. It's worth it. Combo platters are my main go-to dish.

Wonderfully yummy food well prepared and beautifully plated…read more Our party of three split the Greek grilled calamari appetizer with capers, onions, and tomatoes, lightly seasoned, and the spanakopita so buttery and flaky. The entrees we ordered: the vegetarian moussaka, the lamb ("Bifteki") platter, and the chicken souvlaki platter. We were very happy and very satisfied. Portions are ample. Timing of the 2 grilled meat dishes with the oven-baked casserole was perfect: everything was hot. Our thanks to the chef of a well managed kitchen. The complementary butter cookies were a delightful way to end the meal. Our server was attentive and professional. The interior is spotless, with minimal decoration, so nothing distracting. The restaurant is in a mixed residential-small business neighborhood. We're happy to recommend this restaurant to others.

Flaky cheesy and filled with spinach - chicken platter: chicken was perfectly tender and charred. What Thai food dreams are made of…read more I first got hooked on Thai food about 20 years ago--grabbing takeout from random food carts and a tiny Midtown spot called Rain. One bite in, I was done for. Since then, it's basically a rule: if I see a Thai restaurant, I'm stopping. Over time I've graduated beyond pad Thai (growth), and I'm always on the hunt for the next standout dish. This past weekend, I found a hidden gem. And I mean hidden. Don't let the exterior fool you--it looks like the new owners took over a long-retired diner that last saw its glory days sometime around the Reagan administration. Inside doesn't do much to change your expectations either... very "vintage 80s diner chic," and not in the trendy way. Then you're greeted by a kid who looks like he's juggling high school algebra homework while simultaneously bussing tables, taking orders, running food, pouring drinks, and working the register. Absolute Swiss Army knife. Honestly, I've been to fully staffed restaurants that don't run half as efficiently. Now the food--this is where things get serious. I usually start with papaya salad, but I saw they offered soft shell crab for an extra $3 and thought, "say less." The crabs came out perfectly fried--crispy, not greasy--two generous pieces sitting on top of a bright mango salad with a light vinaigrette. Ridiculously good. For mains, I went with my usual benchmarks: beef pad see ew and duck in red curry. Both delivered. The pad see ew had a solid portion of Chinese broccoli, noodles cooked just right, and that perfect balance of savory flavor. The red duck curry? Rich, fragrant, and the kind of dish that reminds you why you fell in love with Thai food in the first place. No exaggeration--these might be the best versions of both dishes I've had in 20 years of eating Thai. And I don't say that lightly. I was just in Vegas and went off-strip to try a highly recommended Thai spot... this place beats it, easily. My wife agreed, and she doesn't hand out food compliments like participation trophies. At that point, we figured dessert was mandatory because clearly this place refuses to miss. Mango sticky rice came out and--shocking--also excellent. Sweet, balanced, and a perfect finish. Total bill was around $100, including a large Thai iced tea (also on point). Bottom line: this family knows exactly what they're doing. If they keep this up, they won't be "hidden" for long--they'll be packed with repeat customers who, like me, came for curiosity and left planning their next visit.

All the food came out hot and you could tell it was just made. However, items on the menu felt hit or miss. The tom yum soup, personally a miss, something about the smell of it was off which affected my taste. The roti in the roti thai style was really good and flaky, but the massaman curry was too thick. Drunken noodles were well made, and I had asked for spicy which the waitress gave us a warning that I might be "too much." However, it was quite the opposite and a bit below the spice level I was expecting. Also, felt like if you were ordering outside of their lunch special, the food is a bit expensive for what you get.

Had the chance to meet "The Boss" Gilda and her son Joe as well as the rest of the very friendly and helpful staff here. We tried a plethora of things so this may take a minute haha. Started off with two stuffed breads - A Reuben as well as a Pepperoni roll. The Reuben had a great flavor and the bread itself was tasty. It was slightly odd in my mind to eat a Reuben without grilled rye, but I enjoyed this. The pepperoni stuffed bread was also good and was even better with the addition of some sauce (they called it gravy and I thought I was in trouble haha). After that we were hit with some delicious Italian items including their house made meatballs, Italian sausage and peppers, and chicken Parmesan. The meatballs were just rated #1 in Central Jersey and #2 in the entire state of NJ at the Pizza Bowl a few months back. I could see why. Very tender, perfectly seasoned, and again that sauce/gravy was killer. To be honest though, I may have enjoyed the sausage even more! I mentioned how I didn't get hit with that typical overwhelming pop from fennel seed and Joe said they make it with ground fennel so the flavor is still there but it's not so in your face. I loved, and I mean loved, this sausage. The chicken parm was also very good but I had a small piece because I knew what was coming next! We finished off by trying two sandwiches that Iorio is well known for. The first was "The Jocelyn" which was a roast beef and Swiss melt on an onion roll, and the second was "The Sloppiest Joe" which was a North NJ staple "sloppy joe" but in epic proportions. The Jocelyn had good flavor and the onion roll was a nice touch and change of pace. The sloppiest Joe is sitting inside the top 3 I've had probably ever. The meats were freshly sliced and piled high, the rye was super fresh, and the Cole slaw had get flavor and added welcomed creaminess to the sandwich. As if there was any doubt at all - Iorio Deli in Roselle Park, NJ - Didn't Suck!
