I highly recommend you make an appointment. I think I found my nail tech and her name is Piper. She was amazing from booking the appointment and getting there.. she really took care of me. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I had an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure. I had set this appointment weeks ago in preparation for an important event. I scheduled with a specific nail tech that was recommended to me by a friend. I get to my appointment and was told that they made a mistake in scheduling and that they could only do one service and that it would be the gel manicure and that they had to cancel the pedicure because there was no one to do it. Additionally, I was told the nail tech I scheduled with is not there today and that someone else would have to do my manicure. They did not even give me an option of choosing between the manicure or pedicure or asking if I maybe wanted to come back later in the day for the second service...even though this was entirely their fault. The technician that ended up doing my manicure was not skilled and the end result was uneven and horrible. I was so irritated at that point that I didn't even care to say anything, I just wanted to leave. I paid and tipped 22% because I have been in the customer service industry in the past and know that they rely on tips and so I still tipped well even though the service was not satisfactory at all. I definitely would not recommend this place. Awful customer service, no attempt to accommodate me for the second service even though it was their mistake, end result was uneven and ugly. After 5 years of shopping around for my go to nail salon, I think I've finally found it. I've tried so many salons that I just cannot find that feels like THE nail salon. Not even the new salon that is located RIGHT behind my home. I found this salon through a coworker and was surprised how close it was not only to my home, but my work as well. Bonus: it's located right across from my favorite local coffee shop :) Love how it's not super busy or overly crowded, it's a small joint, but there's few technicians that work here. Although small, it's spacious and comfortable. Love the decor as it's very modern, aesthetically pleasing, and may I say, on the girly side. Great place to bring a group of girlies! (Think bachelorette parties or GNOs) The ladies are fantastic and fun! It feels more like a hangout than it does a sometimes stuffy, silent nail salon. They hold great conversation and are really knowledgeable with their craft. They sometimes have a movie or tv playing, but lemme tell you their music playlist is bangin'. All around great entertainment! So far my techs have been Nychole and Nani (sorry ladies if I mispelled your names!) and they're both talented and fun. My mom and sister found this hidden gem shortly after Thanksgiving. They raved abou how small and clean it was as well as the way their pedis came out. I booked an appointment with Jara later that month and haven't been happier with my nails! The salon is really small with a chill, laid back vibe. All the techs are super friendly and can do a variety of techniques. My nail tech, Jara is amazing. She always makes sure that what she is doing is exactly what I want. She does amazing nail art (look at her insta @jarasnailbar_ to see her work) and has an awesome personality. I always laugh and have fun during our time together. They couldn't take us right away, and told us to come back in an hour at which time we were promptly served.EVERYONE in this shop was so nice. My mom had Sammy and I had Marissa. If I lived here, this is where I would get my nails done because the techs look like they all do great work with gel-x, designs, etc which is hard to find.
