Honestly soooooo happy. My nails were raggedy! Amy and MY brought me back to life. Sad I didn't have before pictures. They were so nice they took me in last min! MY cleaned up my toes sooo damn good! That's the main thing for me is cleaning and taking the extra skin off my nails and they took their time with that. Loved it! Very professional and super nice and clean! Takes COVID protocol which is great. I'm very simple when it comes to my nails but the cleaning is everything. Will be going to them from now on.

I've been trying out a few salons in my area. Most have left me disappointed because the gel would chip or my nails would break. My friend recommended me this place because she got a great price for a full set gel. I arrived with 2 broken nails and gel chipped off after 9 days since my last nail appointment. Amy was very helpful, sweet and listened to my concerns. I wanted a full set acrylics because my nails weren't strong. She recommended I do the powder so I can keep my natural nails. Amy is amazing! It was a lot of work, but I loved my nails after my appointment. She was able to do the design I asked for and I have had them for 15 days without any chips or issues. Thanks Amy! Will be back!

A month ago I went to get full set, I didnt like the way my nails got done, they weren't even, plus it was a weird shape , But today my nails. looked super nice and cute. Emy was so friendly and careful. She took her time shaping them so they look even. the price was decent too.

I was referred here by my cousin & decided to do a walk in. Amy greeted me did my gel acrylics & gel pedicure. She was nothing short of amazing! She's extremely detail oriented, took her time, was professional, and very sweet. I am particular when it comes to my nails and was very pleased with the finished product. Not to mention I didn't realize it was Chinese New Year and they closed early and she stayed open even later just to do my nails which I really appreciated. Gel new acyrlics set gel pedi with callous removal + gel removal = 75. Not bad :) Will be returning to Amy soon!

Went today because I needed my nails done badly and I didn't feel like going to my regular place. The lady did such a poor job. I mean she left nail polish on my cuticle, she skipped top coat on my middle finger, she didn't shaped my nails smoothly or evenly paint my nails. Now I remember why I don't come to this place. At first my nails looked ok but when I came outside I saw all the flaws. Ridiculous. Won't ever return. read more

I got charged 100$ for my nails and toes now my nails it hasn't even been a week and my nails are already lifting also the rhinestones that the lady put fell off right the next day the shaping was bad and some of the nails were crooked my toes the polish is gel but looks lumpy read more

It's summertime and I didn't want to walk out of the house with my toes looking like a mess but I didn't feel like driving to my usual place either so voila: New Style Nails it was! Honestly, I should have just gone to my other place. The only two good things about this place are that it's close and that they have some formaldehyde free options for nail polish. The bad things: everything else. They have a LIMITED selection of non-gel colors. Customer service is mediocre at best; I wasn't even greeted, just met with a blank stare and a rude "what do you want?". The man who did my pedicure kept digging into my toes and kept doing it, even when I was visibly wincing. Additionally, I noticed that even though I asked for my nails to be cut down and filed, it appears some were not cut down and they were not filed evenly. Do not go to this place unless you have very low standards and don't mind wasting your money. read more

This is my new go to in Granada Hills... it is very hard to find good nail technicians in this area however AMY and TAMMY are amazing!! They are so thorough and handle people like me who are extra picky very well. I would say the only thing I would like to change about this place is the brand of gel polish they use. Most places use this same brand it isn't my favorite however it still works. read more

On Friday my mom and I wanted to get a mani and pedi before her trip to Mexico on Sunday. Well, we yelped to find a place since our usual place was busy all day. After calling numerous salons and all of them being booked for the day, I stumbled upon this salon, I called they were available and so I decided to try it out. I get there, they all stare us down and ask what we need. We told them and they asked us to choose a color. We did, and were helped soon after. Anyway, It was my first manicure ever, so obviously my nails and cuticles were not perfect but I felt very uncomfortable at the way the nail tech was looking at my nails and me.. I felt embarrassed. After that, my mom told me she would treat me to a pedi. So my mom asked the nail tech (male nail tech) helping me if he could also give me a pedi. Silence. My mom asked her nail tech (older female) if they had time to give me a pedi. Silence again. So I asked the guy helping me again, and SILENCE. He finished then pointed towards the massage chair for my pedi. Was it that hard to answer my question?! Ugh!!! So to end this review, my nails turned out nice but the customer service SUCKS. My mom has gotten tons of pedis and said the woman helping her didn't do a thorough job. I don't think we will be returning. Customer service is very important to me.. And this place has some of the worst customer service I've experienced. read more

The worst experience ever! The woman who gave a pedicure was terrible, wouldn't even scrub the bottom of my feet to make them smooth. I walked to my car to look at my feet in horror. It looked like I did them myself at home, and I suck. She just chopped the cuticle around my big toes. As a result they did not look smooth. I went back in and honestly it made me more upset because she said I was crazy and had bad skin. Hello why do you think I have to go somewhere to get my nails done?!? No one else tried to help me even though that it was obvious that the owner was there. AVOID THIS PLACE!! DO NOT BE TRICKED BY COUPONS!! Not worth it at all. read more

Please do yourself a favor and go to Amy!! I was slightly intimidated by her when I first came into the shop. She was a tad bit stoic at first but I honestly think it's because she is so focused on making nails look gorgeous. I've been to way too many nail salons but Amy is by far one of the most precise people I have ever met at a salon. I truly believe she has a gift in making nails look perfect and gorgeous. I have short nails so I asked for a gel acrylic full set that looks natural and she suggested a beautiful nude color, which I absolutely love! The price is very reasonable especially since I paid so much more in Sherman oaks but for less quality. The total came out to $40 for the acrylic gel but her work of art is priceless. I'm glad I found my new salon--I thought I'd never find someone I could trust with my nails! read more

Went today to get a fill. I've been seeing this place and thought I would give it a try. I went to another shop for my past three fills the first time was great but after that is was down hill. Jenny did my nails today. She was friendly, had just the right amount of conversation. I dont like to chat too much when I'm getting my nails done, I just like to sit and relax, kinda like spa or massage time. She didnt hurt or cut me and did my nails perfect! Short, thin and natural looking. It's hard to find someone who will do them thin and natural looking. Polish was great, didn't miss any areas (another per peeve of mine) and no bubbles. The owner, Lisa even came over to say hi to me, very nice lady. Priced very reasonable, $17.00. They are open 7 days a week too! Parking can be tricky depending on the time of day, there are a lot of other businesses around. Located in Dennys lot. read more

Walked in at 4pm on a Monday for a simple full set. The lady at the front desk looked at me and said "we're closed." As multiple customers were getting manicures and pedicures! I'm not sure if this was blatant discrimination or what but it felt so unprofessional. Why close THREE HOURS early and still have the door open and other people being serviced? I used to come to this place when it belonged to Lisa. The new owners didn't do a good job at all. First the lied about the change of ownership. But what bother me the most is that I made an app. And when we get there they where not prepare. We ended up only having a pedi done. Then they charged me for using my ATM card!!!! Never go back. Bamboo nail will be my place to go from now on. read more

It was my first time ever being here and it was a horrible experience. I originally sat with an older women who was unsure on how to do acrylics and kept asking for confirmation. Next, I was sent to sit with Tammy and she did a great job, but was unable to finish because her appoint was here. Then, I was maneuver to Amy and she was the last lady to finish up my nails, and let me just say she was so disrespectful and rude. My nails turned out okay but definitely not worth the price and I experienced horrible customer service. Definitely wouldn't recommend. read more

Came in for the first time yesterday after reading good reviews. Amy was able to take me in last minute which I truly appreciate! Other than being extremely friendly and professional, she was also a perfectionist , she took her time to make sure my nails were perfect. Love my nails!!! Did my gel acrylic nails w/ regular pedi and it only cost me $53. Made an appointment with my friends (3 medi-pedis), came to the store and they thought I said 1 full set when I said over the phone 3 so my friend had to wait an hour to get her nails done cuz it was so busy. Love my nails but the color started to fade away within a week and they did not cut my cuticles. read more

At the beginning of my appointment, I told my waxer, Jazlyn, that I only wanted the Bikini Full. There was already some confusion because only the eyebrow service was showing on her screen, but we agreed to proceed with the Bikini Full. Somewhere along the way, there was a miscommunication and I ended up receiving a Brazilian instead. I want to be clear that Jazlyn herself was very attentive, kind, and reassuring throughout my appointment. I understand that miscommunications happen, and I did not blame her for the situation. My frustration was with how the front desk attendant, Zoe, handled it. I was told I had to pay the Brazilian price even though I had booked and communicated that I wanted a Bikini Full. When I questioned this, Zoe brought Jazlyn to the front to discuss what happened in front of several other customers. Given the personal nature of the service, this made me extremely uncomfortable and felt unnecessary. I would have appreciated some acknowledgment of the booking/miscommunication issue and a private, professional attempt to resolve it. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed and frustrated over how the situation was handled. I hope management uses this as an opportunity to provide additional training on customer service, discretion, and de-escalation.

After my visit, I developed an issue on my right toe, which is completely unacceptable and honestly alarming. From what I observed during my appointment, hygiene practices were not being followed properly. I personally saw tools being reused on multiple clients without being properly sanitized, despite the fact that they clearly have sanitation machines available. That alone is a serious violation and puts customers at risk. When I brought this issue up, the man at the front with the thick eyebrows did absolutely nothing to help. There was no concern, no accountability, and no attempt to resolve the situation. It felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially considering the severity of what happened. Because of this, I will be reporting this salon to the Board of Cosmetology. No one should have to worry about infections or unsafe practices when getting something as routine as a nail service. Please be careful if you are considering coming here. Your health and safety should always come first, and based on my experience, this place does not meet those standards.

Yes if you were still getting over a cold, you knew you were sick and could have used a mask OR given more than 1 day notice. Alright, made it to my appointment. Nothing feels more welcoming then arriving and being told that you are not allowed to have your phone while she does your manicure because she "needed to concentrate." I was like, "so am I not able to use my phone for an hour?" Jamie told me that she doesn't allow it so she can focus. Uhm ok, my phone shouldn't distract you. So I had the option of staring at the top of her head or look outside at the FedEx truck, I chose to look outside. Jamie tried to make small-talk asking if I had a manicure prior and blah blah. Really I wasn't interested in chit-chat. Anyway, thank God for my bestie who was in the neighborhood and came to see me! Things got real uncomfortable at the end when I told my bestie that she did a good job I just wasn't happy with the color selection. Jamie looked mad and said.."for being independent I don't have many colors? I've only been doing this for a year." I told her that I would rather say the truth and say NO, the selection is very limited. She has like 12-14 basic colors and 10 that she charges extra for because they have some type of "design." So no, showing me one ring of colors compared to many places that set out 5 + rings is nothing. To top it all off after 2 days my nails look dull and my gels already have a chip and my cuticles are jagged:/ (picture included). Jamie didn't use any cuticle oil, no lotion or hand massage. I'm very unhappy, but best of luck sorry it didn't work out. I still like the salon and have been to Sharon. She is super sweet. My mom and sister like her too! She has a lot of gels and a bunch of new colors that she showed me last time. She never makes you put your phone away and if you text or call her, she will get back to you quickly with her availability. Make sure you ask for Sharon. :)
