I have had a lot of bodywork done over the years, but Eric is one of the best therapists that you…read morecan have for general aches and pains, targeted injuries, acute issues, or just giving you a general "look over" and identifying what is causing the stress and tightness throughout your body. While Zen Zone is not your lavish, over-the-top kind of spa or massage therapy provider, the space is clean and well kept. I would put it on par with the majority of the providers I have been to over the years and given the difficulty (and cost) of space in Boston, Zen has plenty of space dedicated to the services they provide. The price is actually pretty good ($200 for a 90m massage) for the services and what you get for that is BEYOND a value. Like I said, over the past 10+ years I've had just about every type of bodywork imaginable done (active release, grafting, dry needling, all different kinds of massages, TENS therapy, etc). I was always looking for ways to recover as an amateur competitor in CrossFit and that just causes the need to treat your body as good as you can so you can keep training and pushing. Now, with that out of the way let's get into my experience with Eric. This unicorn is well-versed in MANY different practices, but will tailor the services to your level of need and want in focus areas and pressure to be applied. I will say that my experience was not super relaxing, but that was what I wanted. We did active release, stretching, and deep tissue massage. These are NOT relaxing services to request, but what I wanted/needed at the time of my appointment. Not only did he meet all of these requests with fervor, but showed me a few other tricks I had not experienced personally. The one that sticks out in my mind is his attention to my head/neck/jaw after I told him of my cancer diagnosis. He did a full assessment of my body and decided to focus first on my head/neck/jaw with cold stone therapy and actually getting IN my mouth to release the tension in my jaw. Not something I would have thought of, but once he was done the difference was palpable and I was beyond thankful he spent this kind of attention on a place that instantly melted the tension and clenching away. I can't say enough good things about my experience from scheduling to paying (they even have the providers' Venmo displayed for tipping!!!). It was quite a first impression they left on me and I will definitely be back when I need this kind of intensive therapy or body work in the future. Highly recommended - 10/10, A+++

They put the stuff on my face and left the room for loooong time. Then didn't extract my pores, saying they were too small, whereas my current place said they had not issues doing extractions. The facialist knew it was my first facial then and I feel she took advantage of the fact. Afterwards, she charged my card and turns out I couldn't leave a tip after she charged it. At the time I wanted to tip, but she said it was fine, which I should have taken as a hint that she didn't perform the service she was suppose to do anyways!

I moved back to the area in the fall and had to say goodbye to my favorite waxing place, and the…read moreproblem was that my old one in Boston had closed. I figured it was winter so less of a time to panic, and add in Covid and what I had was me sitting inside with my dog. However, in early February I started to realize that I could (somehow) find a new place for waxing or I could just get laser and be done with it. I saw a Groupon deal, but checked out their website and saw that I could purchase one visit at a time (I don't think I have seen this anywhere else, it is usually a package of 5 or 6 visits) and decided I could get one Brazilian wax for $60-80 (depending on location) or one laser treatment for $99; seeing as one lasts 4-6 weeks and the other forever, the choice was obvious. My first visit was 6 weeks ago (everyone is different, you might be 4-5 weeks) and my second was this morning, it really is not all that awful and Emma is really nice. They have a great system in place for Covid: call from outside to check in, then go inside when they are ready for you. They will check your temperature as soon as you get in, your bag (if you have one) will go into a plastic bag and you will be given a pair of gloves to wear after disinfecting your hands. Really, it is easy and much faster than waxing!! They also have online booking (!!!), there is no shortage of free parking outside on Trapelo Rd, and you will get a great service for much less than other places that over-promise and leave you feeling disappointed.

I've had 5 visits at LaserHere with Emma and I'm already seeing amazing results! They use a strong cooling machine along with the laser, so the treatments are literally painless. Prices are great, and Emma is super professional and friendly, which makes the whole process easy. There's a cute little tea/coffee station in the waiting area, and I've never had to wait for my appointment. Highly recommend!

My injector was was also just weird. Made me uncomfortable and kept trying to sell me other procedures and I had to repeat myself maybe 5 times explaining all I wanted was Botox, but she just wasn't getting it and I was getting really frustrated. When I was checking out they told me I needed to schedule a three week follow up. I told them that was unnecessary, I would call with any concerns. They were pushy and wouldn't let me leave until I scheduled. When I kept insisting I didn't want the appointment the owner even made a snarky remark "have you even ever had Botox?"..... They ended up making the appointment and I canceled over text.... They then immediately asked me when I wanted to come back for my Botox. Never said I wanted to..... 24 hours before my canceled apt I got a text telling me to confirm and saying I would be charged if I didn't show up.... Thought I had cancelled? They were just rude, pushy, judgmental and made me uncomfortable. No shot I go back
