Do not order online!!! The order was not processed at any truck! Checked the closest to us and ended up walking 12 blocks in 100 degree heat. They told us it would be ready in 10 minutes because they don't check online ordering. 20 minutes later they started to make our order. Counted the containers b/c we order for 10 people and walked 12 blocks back to work. The order was only 60% correct...horrible experience! read more

After having the birria quesadillas we knew we had to come back for more my roommate and i are moving apartments so we had to try some restaurants for the last time we split the al pastor nachos and birria quesadillas. the quesadillas quite literally melt in your mouth with how savory and juicy the meat is cooked and the deliciousness of it all put together. since this is a food truck they were super quick to make the order - and the servers were also very kind. 10/10 would recommend and come back read more

An absolute gem of a food truck. If you love birria tacos, this is the place for you. If you've never had birria tacos, this is the place for you! Make sure you get an order of the consume as well. Full of the drippings from the meat, onion and cilantro. What you don't finish by filling your tacos in, is so deliciously drinkable. On a chilly day, I would absolutely walk by and order a cup just to drink. It's so good. It's location on the block can vary, but it will be between 52nd and 53rd Streets on the east side of 6the Ave. At $4 a taco, it's worth stopping by even for one. I ordered delivery for 3 tacos (classic, shrimp, and pork). The shrimp taco was probably the best as it tasted very fresh. The other 2 however were quite unflavorful and didn't really do it for me. I've had other birrias before but this place didn't quite stack up. Unfortunately, I would say the food doesn't travel too well since the bottom of the bag was dripping in grease. Not bad. Wanted to try some birria so took a gamble on this truck without any research. Al pastor tacos taste fine. They crisp up the pork which is nice but there were some pieces that were just chunks of fat. Los tacos does it better. The birria is pretty good. Not much flavor on its own but the consommé is tasty. Doubled corn tortillas, standard. Also standardly crumbly, even before dipping. Honestly the best birria tacos I've ever had and the best meal I've had in NYC this entire trip! Tacos are $4 each and the consommé is also $4. These tacos taste like the tenderest brisket. Not too salty, not too cheesy - the meaty flavor shines through. While this company apparently has multiple trucks, I ate at the truck that is located at W. 52 & 6th Ave every day from 4-11PM. This is a very underrated truck in the city. One of the best birria spots I've tried in a while. I tried this place on new years, and it was sooo good, I dragged any of my friends that mentioned anything about food that day. I first got the birria torta, which was a heavenly sandwich, and a great deal for 10$. I also went back for a birria quesadilla, which was also really good! The service was quick both times, and I really appreciate them keeping reasonable prices on new years, with 1 dollar waters and 2 dollar sodas! I can't speak too much about the ambiance because I assume this was a temporary location for new years, but I would follow this truck anywhere. No food pics, food was gone way before I ever thought about taking a picture. read more

Pretty close to times square/Rockefeller plaza as well as other street food carts including halal guys. Price was a bit steep though, $16 for 2 tacos and a bowl of consomme. The tacos were small street sized double corn tortilla, topped with birria pulled beef, salsa, raw onions and cilantro. The meat was tender and flavorful, lime helped add some acidity. Dunking into the consomme was a bit finnicky, I preferred enjoying them separately. The soup wasn't too salty which I was worried about, and had a good depth of flavor. In the future I might just get the consomme by itself on a cold winter day. read more

Fast, convenient, and delicious! A bit pricier than what you'd get elsewhere, but the convenience can't be beat. Birria tacos with and without cheese are great, as well as the mulitas and burritos. Portions are decent but not huge. It's in an area with tons of other food trucks so good to go with people who want to eat different things! read more

I've been back twice in two days lol. The Birria is awesome and the drinks are cheap. I've also had their burrito and the rice and beans could've been better in that so I'd recommend sticking to the tacos. Haven't had anything but Birria and I don't want to branch out and dislike anything when it's a delicious and consistent meat by itself. Birria Tacos really need to be more of a thing. Having hot consume with your tacos, either as a dip or just to drink and warm your soul feels like a no brainer, why aren't more taco places doing it??? I spent 4 days in NYC and this was dinner 2 of the 4 nights. These are the best tacos I've ever had! The shells were crisped up on the flat top nicely, the meat melts in your mouth, and the portions are excellent. You have to get some consome to dip in to get the full experience.
