Been wanting to try this place out for a little while. Finally made it there yesterday. Location is great, with ample parking - I walked there since I was in the neighborhood. I gave the place 3 stars, wish it could be 2 1/2, but there was nothing bad about it, but at the same time, there was nothing great about it. The staff was about as friendly as you expect in a chain restaurant. The cashier a bit robotic, reading the options presented on his screen. Since it was my first time there I really wanted to look at the menu, which is located right as you walk in. Aside of shoving the people who stood there for ages reading, I had to wait to get access to the menu. I noticed as I ate that there were always a handful of people blocking the entry/exit/line staring at the menu. Not a good design, especially since there is no defined line to the register. The ordering itself was quick. If you are vegetarian the choices are quite limiting based on the menu. We ordered a Margherita pizza, a five cheese mac and cheese and two drinks. Food was served fast. Much faster than expected. My pizza was about the size of a dinner plate, which was ample, but it didn't look what I am accustomed to in a Margherita pizza. The red sauce smelled and tasted like anything you can buy in a can, the mozzarella appeared to be shredded, and there were 4 tiny slivers of basil on the pizza. Did it taste bad? Not really. But it didn't taste great either. The condiment bar helped make my pizza better by adding roasted garlic. My partner ordered the five cheese macaroni and cheese. The portion was ample but he too mentioned it didn't taste great, but it didn't taste bad either. It was meh. The place itself has ample seating with an open kitchen and a grab and go section. The one thing I liked was the condiment station offering a selection of toppings for salads. The roasted garlic offered enhanced our meal, so that was great. Not sure If I'd return, mainly because of the limitation in vegetarian options. Their vegetarian sandwich has grilled squash, zucchini, portabella mushrooms, everything I can't stand and a standard in uncreative kitchens trying to please vegetarians. Glad I tried it out. Good to see the place has an audience that enjoys it. Perhaps not the best place for me. read more

Food was delicious. Not used to having cold chicken salad on hot cheesy bread but it was very good. Place is quite clean. 4 star rather than 5 just because the ordering process was frustrating, kept having to repeat myself. Will be back! read more

This place is great! Wish they had more in CO because I'd have gone there more often. They have the BEST loaded potato soup I've ever had. Went there with my brother and sister, who got personal sized pizzas which they said had really good flavor and weren't super greasy like other places. They also have great, fresh side salads and desserts. Service is friendly, welcoming, professional, and speedy. read more

I really hope the owner reads this! I called to place an order but was placed on hold for 15mins then was rudely hung up on. I think his name is Xander, he claimed he was the manager. He was the one that up on me. I would never ever recommend anyone to order from here. This was my first experience with this place. I saw an ad and thought i would tried this place but the terrible customer service will never ever get me to try this place again. Very disappointing experience yesterday with our pick up order. Upon walking in, 2 employees working with the food weren't wearing their mask correctly. Not a great start. Our order was not ready at the committed time. They made the wrong sandwich as part of the order, which we did not discover until we got home. We just discarded it. Overall, disappointing. read more

Cake and salad! I love the black and bleu salad. The walnuts give it such great flavor and the steak is a generous portion. Well balanced and so good. Then I got the strawberry cake to follow and was excellent. There aren't many places you can get a good piece of cake all day long as most good bakeries close early and the bad ones are just bad. These cakes are excellent and the portion sizes are perfect. Will be returning for sure. I am honestly worried about being so close to this cake source. read more

Customer service has declined due to pandemic and never recovered. Greeted by how are you doing. Wanting to move forward asked for a medium hook and ladder. Staff responded back with that's not what I asked you. Snarky response and have no interest in supporting this business going forward. The sandwiches here are outstanding. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because they don't have gluten free bread and my wife can't eat gluten. So we can't eat there as often as I'd like. Looking forward to gluten free bread!!! read more

Disappointing they don't offer any salads without meat, if you remove the meat from the salad the price doesn't reduce but the option to add meat to any salad (which already has meat on it?) is $4-7. I'm not a vegan but sometimes I want to option to not have meat on a salad. Still paid $11 for a salad with no meat, which is ABSURD for a bowl of lettuce and a few toppings! read more

A fresh menu of salads, soups, sandwiches, pizzas, and homemade desserts. Newk's has plenty of options, so the whole family can find something they like! They have a large dining area so we didn't have to wait for a table, and the food came out pretty quickly. The soups are delicious; I got tomato basil, and my boyfriend got the lobster bisque. Their complimentary topping bar is fantastic- you can serve yourself and grab crackers, croutons, cheese, pickles, spices, crunchy breadsticks, and more. We've enjoyed Newk's several times. It's a nice, casual restaurant with good sandwiches, salads and pizza. Especially convenient is their grab and go section were they offer a variety of their food items ready to go. One unique feature of Newk's is a centrally located condiments bar. I can't get enough of their complimentary sweet pickles and bread sticks. I suggest you take the time to check out their menu online. Choosing your sandwich, salad or pizza, at their entrance, can take a bit of time and often people are milling around the entrance deciding. Save yourself the hassle and decide what you want, in advance, until you are more familiar with your favorites. They also offer some nice desserts. read more

My coworkers and I wanted to throw our fellow coworker a casual baby shower. I suggested Newks for it. Tonight was the shower and Scott, the manager, and all of his staff were amazing. The restaurant was so clean and the food came out fast and was delicious. Also Google said that the restaurant closed at 9 when they actually closed at 8. I have to give this place 5 stars for the food quality and service. I ordered a half sandwich and bowl of soup. The turkey sandwich came out turkey avocado, I was fine eating it but mentioned it to the guy (manager?) who was walking around asking about our meal. He not only made me a full sized sandwich to take with me, but also included 2 pieces of cake for later. All the ingredients of the Tortilla soup, pizza, turkey sandwich were fresh and high quality. I'll have to say that compared to Panera in Highlands Ranch, this place is much better with customer service. Also, who likes to bus their own dishes? I can do that at home. Strolled in at 10:30am; let the staff know I had never been in. They went over the menu w/ me, I ended up doing the 1/2 and 1/2 -- Got the Farmers sandwich and the Mac n cheese. The sandwich was insanely hot fiya powerful delicious. It's vegetarian. Mac n Cheese was nice and cheesy. While I was checking out I learned they didn't even open until 11am. I finally stopped at this place by my favorite grocery store. I ordered their Italian Sub. Was greeted nicely and explained the concept. Looked over the menu, many choices. The smell of the fresh food didn't make it easy to choose. Focused on the Italian Sub and ordered it. It was a beautiful day so I sat outside. Order came out, looked delicious and it was. The layers of deli meat and dressing made it complete. I will be back to try more. Great service as well. Oh, they have a self serve salad bar. Multiple choices of refreshments. Awesome café! Very good fast casual service, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The interior is very spacious, clean, and has a chill vibe. I got the potato soup which was delicious! This restaurant is awful. I came here with my wife a couple days ago and we both agreed to never come to a Newk's location ever again. It was really upsetting because the food was decent (horribly overpriced however) and the servers were nice, but one of the managers treated them like dogs. I do not reccomend coming here to ANYONE based on the fact that they chose such horrible managers to represent their company. It is very unfortunate because it wouldn't be a bad restaurant if these grown managers knew how to treat their employees. They were also quite understaffed (which is understandable because I'm not sure who would want to work here) as ONE employee rang us up at the register, served us our food, swept, and bussed during the time we were there. If I could reccomend anything to this company it would be to make some big changes in their staff. Very disappointing. read more

Newk's Eatery was introduced to me by my lady and I am quite happy that she did. Nothing fancy, but very friendly staff and fresh, flavorful food. I love that they have a little snack/accompaniment bar towards the middle of the establishment with a variety of pickled veg, condiments, and above all else, tasty, skinny little bread stick packets. On the two occasions I have been to Newk's I have selected the same thing so I don't have a lot of experience with their other flavors, though their menu items all look great. I get the turkey avocado sandwich. You can't go wrong with turkey avocado sandwiches, except so many places don't do them justice, the same can't be said of Newk's. Their version is stacked well with fresh avocado, finely sliced, quality turkey, delectable Swiss cheese, romaine lettuce, tomato, and mayo, all sandwiched between two pieces of perfectly toasted 11-grain wheat bread. Yum, yum, yum! Will I be back to Newk's? You bet.....my only complaint is they don't have more locations here in Colorado.... read more

I've been to this location a few times and service is always consistent and the staff are always nice and friendly. The food is okay, nothing spectacular but not bad. The one thing I was looking forward to though was their cakes - I ordered their Strawberry Cake (I'm strawberry obsessed) but was so disappointed. It tasted stale. It wasn't moist at all and it looked like it was in the refrigerator too long. I won't be ordering dessert here again but I did like their other offerings and may come back for those. read more

Food was just average. The Q sandwich was kind of dry and the chicken on the BBQ chicken pizza was overcooked and dry. Luckily the BBQ sauce is amazing and made up for the dry chicken.
