[[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the small cafe vibe with live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their Reuben pastrami sandwich and French dip are phenomenal. The service is friendly and a great place to enjoy lunch

Came for dessert!I had my mind set on a cannoli and maybe another slice of something sweet. I ended up going for the key lime pie. The cannoli was very nice, creamy and flavorful filling. The only downside was that the shell wasn't as crisp as I would have liked. As for the key lime pie, it was decent too. The cream was a little too sweet on its own, but it balanced well with the citrus filling. Unfortunately, after I took the pie home and put it in the fridge, I noticed the next time I went to grab it that there was some liquid on the bottom. It made the crust wet, instead of having that nice dry, crumbly texture. I actually came by a couple of days ago, but after seeing the sign at the cashier, I returned with cash in hand. Overall, these are decent desserts, but the soggy pie crust experience makes me hesitate about trying their cheesecake next time.

Made a quick stop in Austin to visit a cool bookstore and stopped next door at NeWorlDeli for a quick bite afterward. The entire experience was 5-star, mostly because of the service I received. The food was really good; I had a tuna sandwich and added sides of pickles and jalapeños. They also had packs of vegan twinkies so I had to get them to snack on later... Also delish!! But the girl at the register who took and gave me my order was what made my visit so good. She was so personable, made me feel right at home. Honestly, made me wish I had ordered food to dine in.

Turkey Apple Brie Gluten Free Sandwich

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cool little place! The ambience is really nice is kinda dark and out of the way and has unique art all over the restaurant and has a jazz area for performances the vibes are really nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The employees were also super nice and helpful the menu was a little big and the cashier I forgot her name was super helpful in guiding us on the menu and what to pick ! And all the sandwiches are able to be made gluten free which is amazing. I got the turkey Apple Brie sandwich and it was really good the Brie cheese is melted and it has a fig jam a very unique sandwich but definitely delicious! All the sandwiches are pretty unique which I like it's a cool place i definitely recommend!

Stopped by New World Deli around 6 pm on a Friday evening! Parking was pretty straightforward, as there are some spots available right in front (on Guadalupe), and also along W 41st St. [[HIGHLIGHT]]In terms of setup, it's laidback - you order/pay at the counter and then seat yourself. Plenty of space inside, even as it started to fill up more over the evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Curried Chicken Salad on a French Roll ($7.95 for a half, 4/5) - Great portion for the price! I ordered the "more than a half" option, and it lasted me two meals. - You can customize the type of bread you'd like, some with an added fee (sourdough +$0.25, gluten-free +$1.50). The other options of wheat, french roll, and jewish rye have no extra cost. I got the french roll and thought it paired nicely with the ingredients. - Light, refreshing mix of flavors. - Note: it's a cold sandwich, so if you're looking for something warm/hot, maybe try one of the grilled options. My friends ordered the Turkey Pastrami and the Turkey Sandwich with Apple, Brie, and Fig Jam + side of Sweet Potato Fries. Overall they weren't super impressed with the sandwiches (3.5/5). Both enjoyed the fries, but thought they were on the expensive side (total order with sandwich + fries came out to be $20-25 after taxes and tip). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance wise, there was live music which in theory would've been a nice touch. However, they were performing so loudly that in order for my friends and I to hear each other, we basically had to shout at each other over the table lol.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not sure if it was just a one-off experience, but it definitely detracted from the dining experience and we ended up leaving earlier than we initially would have because of that. Excluding the loud live music, NeWorlDeli is still a solid spot - although the food didn't blow us away, the prices are affordable for the portions you get. Definitely a small business/mom&pop shop worth checking out if you're looking to grab a casual meal!

The best reuben I've had in a while! Can be a little pricy but I think it's worth it. I will be back to try more of the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seats to eat there or you can take it to go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like the friendly, local vibe I get here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

They have a lot of gluten free options. The service is great, and they offered to do an allergy marker on the order and prepare it in a separate area from the regular sandwiches. [[HIGHLIGHT]]they have live music as well and a cute dining area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I recently discovered this place and instantly fell in love! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes inside are so cozy, and occasionally they have live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's the perfect lunch spot for a sandwich![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The veggie burger is AMAZING and I like that they have both impossible and black bean option. The only thing I would suggest is having a couple more vegetarian options for sandwiches.

Love this family owned, neighborhood deli. Their bread is incredible and makes every sandwich delectable. I especially love the tuna melt with tomato basil soup. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have free, local bands on Fridays and it's a lot of fun to attend.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The Rachel Sandwich and The Curried Chicken Salad Sandwich - Half
    Sydney D.

A nice local spot! I wanted the Reuben but the person taking my order suggested The Rachel and I'm so glad they did, it was sooo delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff was friendly and the space is really deli-esc; very big with lots of tables, my friend and I felt comfortable playing card games for an hour after eating, knowing we weren't taking a table from someone who needed it[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. My friend's curried chicken salad sandwich wasn't anything to write home about. I felt the price for my half sandwich was kinda steep, about $15, but the portion was reasonable.

As a New England transplant, it's often that I'm craving a good ol' Deli sandwich. NeWorlDeli is the spot. The Chicken Curry Salad (with the works) is a must. In fact, it's hard to order something different every time I go because this choice is just THAT good. Sandwich sizes are substantial and served with a pickle spear. Ambiance is welcoming, often with live music. Beer, wine, baked goodies, and soups are also found on the menu. I will say, though, the Clam Chowder had too much dill and, while I'm glad to have tried something new this visit, I will not get again. Great location for a neighborhood walk afterwards, too.

In the warmer weather which is plentiful in Texas sometimes I shift my focus towards Mexican Lagers and when we were visiting here that sounded amazing. So I went with the Primos Lager. It was an excellent Mexican Lager and totally what I wanted in the flavor profile. Occasionally other Mexican Lagers can be a letdown but not in this case at all... nope... not one bit. In the flavor profile you will taste a grainy flavor, maltiness (but it's not heavy handed. It's very well balanced), citrus and lime are present as well. The Primos is so easy to drink that you could easily have more than one in one sitting... but I behaved and just had the one. Great brewery with fairly large outdoor and indoor seating however it can fill up real fast on Fridays and weekends.

One of the best part of dining here was to chat with the waitress and give me suggestions on which beer to try among over a hundred on tap. Now have to read a list of descriptions and select one. Besides the ordering system the food and drinks are still top notch and pet friendly. I had to sit away from others where my baby kept sniffing the air and took her a while to settle down. The service was quick and efficient, and our waitress gave plenty of recommendations. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I had parts of a few of the sausages, and they were all pretty good. The duck one was probably my favorite. We also shared some apps, none of which really stood above the others. The deviled eggs were better than I expected, though. Suggest making a reservation if you are a big group. Also, the place gets very loud when there is live music, so be prepared to yell to communicate. Good vibes tho. Hundreds of beers on tap was obviously a big selling point as well. We thought about trying them all but decided that wasn't the best idea. Worth a stop if you haven't been and don't mind loud music, outdoor seating, and lots of meat options.
