When she returned with the fish, I said "just FYI, all that should matter is that I'm the customer (paying top dollar for a premium product), maybe I'm just a bit OCD." Her response, again with that famous Gen-Z contempt, was "I mean, there's no difference, we just brought it (the fish in the case) out, but anyways, I got you your fish." She just didn't get it. The owner overheard everything and chimed in "all of our fish is fresh here, you don't need to worry about that." I even needed to change our delivery date by a day, and they were so accommodating and easy to work with. The lobster arrived right when expected and was packaged extremely well in a secure box with plenty of ice packs. And the fact that they delivered fresh Maine lobster all the way to Northern Michigan was pretty awesome! Family run, very rustic shop full of character and a resident mascot named Olive who was super sweet. And if I ever have to mail order lobster again I know where I'm getting them from.
