I contacted a company that was highly recommended. They subbed out the fumigation work to Next Generation Fumigation. As you can see, this company's reviews are 5s or 1s, nothing in between. I wish I could give them a 5, but I can't. The morning of the fumigation, we asked the person if we could walk him through the house and he said, "No, most people just leave the keys." When we returned, it appeared that they did a really good job. HOWEVER, one of my rings was missing. I won't go into all the details, but I absolutely know that guy took it. I filed a police report, but ultimately the guy denied taking it. Words to the wise: If you contact a company, make sure you know if they are subbing out the work to another company. Also, INSIST on doing a walk through with them and be present when they leave the property. AND take your valuables to a safe place. The instructions talked about tying up your food, but did not mention anything about taking your valuables with you. And the way they talk made me feel like the idiot for even suggesting that we do a walk through. I should not have trusted them as much as I did. It never dawned on me that someone would jeopardize the integrity of their company by stealing from their customers. read more

We hired Western. They sent this company. There were several guys that showed up to put up the tent. Stayed behind to leave property once they all left. Noticed one of the guys took long to get out of the house. Wish I would have asked him why he took so long inside by himself. Once we were allowed back home, I noticed money and jewelry were missing. Probably was that guy that was inside by himself. So disappointed. Not only were we robbed, but they also damaged the inside of the ADU we have on our property. read more

The absolute WORST company you can use! I spoke to a nice salesman and somehow these people got contracted out. They demanded we give them the keys to our home and when I said that's not what the salesman said and was promised they went on to say how they have been in business for 30 years and people who live in homes MUCH nicer and MORE expensive then our place give them keys. Hired Lloyd pest control which subcontracted this company for the fumigation. I was weary at first due to the reviews I read here. Ultimately our fumigation turned out fine, with zero issues along the way. The team arrived on time and worked efficiently to get the home prepped and tented. Before the fumigation date, I called the company with the concerning stuff I read here about theft and roof damage. The office staff informed me of the option of being able to keep my home key (not turn it over to the company, but I'd have to meet them at the home for each service visit during the fumigation) and that I could be present in the home while they did the prefumigation work/ checks inside the home and stay until they locked our doors. We removed our ring cameras from our fascia and angled them to face all doors to the home as an added measure. Due to other home projects, we had actually taken out most of our belongings, including all valuables so I decided to provide them with the house key. I did however stay with them in the home until they locked the doors. Upon returning home, everything was how we left it and the termites are gone. Pleasant experience overall. Glad that they provided options regarding the concern about theft. Would use them again, but hopefully that's never needed. read more

I hired Pest Guard Exterminator Company which subcontracted Next Gen fumigation and overall I had a really pleasant experience. We used them prior to moving into our new home we purchased. They were on time, contacted the gas company, did the fumigation and removed it on schedule. I would definitely recommend them. Communication was great too, easy to work with. read more

Had our house tented by Next Generation Fumigation. They communicated everything to us upfront and made it very clear the expectations of us the homeowners. We followed the list provided which made for a seamless process. We had all our perishables packed In the bags provided and moved all plants which were close to the house. Their checklist came in handy, and as a homeowner I appreciate their attention to detail. They advised us that since we had a tile roof some may break, but they would do their best to keep them all in tact. I mean it my makes sense that if they walk on the tiles some may break as they have to get up on the roof and secure the tent. Thankfully we only have a few to replace, but we were told ahead of time so it is not a surprise. This was communicated to us beforehand in our contract. Both teams which came out (tenting team and removal team) did an awesome job. They were polite and answered all my questions. I have subcontracted to this company for years and I have loved them through and through for using them. I see a lot of reviews complaining about broken tiles and burglary. The big thing I promise is a termite company has done this for a while now is they either had previous damage to the roof and didn't know about it or most commonly they are s tiles that get damaged which are very poor for being walked upon but have to be for the fume. The crazy thing is is a lot of people think we make these disclosures to protect ourselves but the state of California makes these fumigation documents that the customer sign but were they often get failed is by the termite company. I did see a couple reviews too complaining about burglary when there is a release added by the state that we cannot protect you from burglary. There's another review complaining about a key it is state law that the fumigator has a key during the fumigation process. If we were caught without a key during the fumigation process we are facing thousands of dollars in fines. The biggest thing is to start off by making sure you have a termite company that sits down with you and goes over the fumigation prep list and all the disclosures next generation fumigation is a solid company has always taken care of me and I've had little to few problems with them. I've had to use local competitors just the time or two as they were not able to get out to my fuming time and they were horrific experiences in the biggest issue I've ever had with next generation fumigation would usually just be being booked out too far cuz they're so busy. My wife and I had our house tented. She read the reviews for this company and told me absolutely not. It was too late to back out, and I proceeded. I'm glad I did. I did not have the same experience as the bad reviews which's makes me wonder how accurate they really are. They provide the service requested. Communicated very clearly with us. And the price was great. I forgot to leave my keys to the house and they waited for me to drive back from work. It delayed them but they were still very nice and understanding. We had to open our safes and show them our valuables and EVERYTHING was there once the tent was removed. We did get charged for a food bagging fee, which my wife wasn't happy about, but I didn't empty the freezer. It was something told to use so I can't blame this company, that's on me. HOA President Ivy chose Next Generation to do fumigation on 8 Condo units in Alhambra. Next Generation stole 3 brand new XO bottles of cognac worth $1,000 a bottle and even stole an open bottle that is half full. They wanted keys into the all the units and my grandmother had a family emergency to go to SF before the fumigation. Her son is dying and she had to leave right away and handed the keys as she was told. Then this happened. Ivy would not lift a finger to help as we all have been complaint with her projects and even asking us all to pay HOA 6 months in advance. She also hanged up on me. We trusted Next Generation being inside our homes and expensive items got stolen. If I could give a zero I would. Broke 120 tiles on my roof and arguing with me that they are not responsible. Only willing to settle for the 120 tiles which 8 estimates said couldn't be replaced without doing that part of the roof completely. I ended up replacing this part of the roof myself and then decided to replace my entire roof. My roofs never leaked for 50 years. I would not have ever replaced it. We recently had this company out to tent out home. While we didn't originally go directly to them, our job was passed on to them, I'm happy to say they did an exceptional job. I was contacted by their scheduling team who confirmed all details. They emailed me over a list of things I needed to make sure I did which I'm glad as I did not receive that from the other company. We accidentally left a few food items but their workers bag them up and left them on our lawn for us. (Bag of dog food and a few packs of gum) Price was reasonable based on what others were charging. There was no accountability and I was gaslighted that somehow it was my fault. I was also told other bad reviews were lies, which is insulting to other clients' experiences. The termite company we used subbed the fumigation to Next Generation. I will be honest, I read the reviews and was worried. So I decided to give them a call. The women in this office could not be more friendly, honest and professional. They took the time to talk me through the entire process and how to prevent any damage to our property. They were extremely thorough. Our escrow and subsequent construction ended up getting delayed and so the fumigation also got pushed... and these ladies were a godsend. I had them on speed dial, updating them along the way. They were always able to hold a date for us and were always ready to move the date at a moments notice (the fumigation was our final step and a constant moving target based on the completion of construction.) The day finally came for the fumigation, and they called me to let me know they got in OK and it was all underway. No one robbed our house; nothing was damaged. I wonder if termite fumigation is something that will seldom gather good reviews, so I felt it necessary to give them the credit they deserve. My fume with Next Generation Fumigation on 11/30/2022 was absolutely great! I was nervous on the reviews on Yelp but my pest control company was subtracting with them. I figured I would still give them a chance knowing not everything is true on yelp. When the crew arrived they were so nice and helpful. I have used next-Gen for 200+ fumigation and they get it done! They don't let fences, bushes, trees, random power/gas/telephone lines get in the way. Sometimes they may not have access inside the structure and they call me and give me at least until the end of the day to figure it out before they reschedule. A real lifesaver!! I've tried a few other fumigators, no one is as responsive, honest, punctual or reliable as they are. I trust them to get it done everytime. They have broken tiles here and there, and when they do they've stopped working and notified me so I can inform the customer to see if we can proceed. Beware of this company being listed on your fumigation paperwork as the contracted company. Our roof is not even a few years old and the day of the fumigation they showed up way earlier than expected first of all, blew up our phone as to why we weren't there earlier than what our company told us. And then pushed a brand new waiver on us (conveniently after already getting ladders and the tent starting to already get thrown on) that said they are NOT responsible when over 150 tiles get possibly broken and that they couldn't move on without us signing it. (we had already signed a waiver beforehand with our actual company btw for fewer tiles) They stood outside with the tent partially on and equipment until we signed it. This honestly felt like a huge red flag. The dude also went on to say "your roof is old so this will most likely happen" I have this convo on my ring camera fully recorded. This was not true at all (first off he isn't a roofer and second my roof is only a few years old). My family and I stayed in a hotel near by until the work was done - only to be contacted by my neighbors who let me know that these workers were walking around our roof, seemingly in a rush and without any regard to what they were doing and where they were stepping. My neighbor said "you need to check your roof after this, they are being reckless on your damn roof." And they also let us know that they left lots of trash outside on our yard and the sidewalk areas from their truck. When I got home I came home to trash out on our front yard. Trash thrown around our back yard. And roof tile pieces everywhere, including some that were just dangerously handing at the edge. We now have to foot the bill for having over 175 tiles replaced on a 2 year old roof because of these unprofessional people. I've had multiple roofer estimates and each roofer has said "who the hell did this to your roof? it's still a new roof!" If you use these guys make sure you know not only are you planning for a fumigation, make sure to plan for and to budget for massive roof repair damage. this is costing us now almost 7k. The kicker - our rep said they have been getting complaints about this exact team and never thought to tell us! fun stuff! this company was sub contracted to do a tent fumigation and after they were done, they broke 250 tiles on my roof, causing a 4000 dollar damage, also broke/bent dish antena, and broke rain gutters. company would not replace or help pay for damage, law suit to follow, make sure you know who the sub contractor is before allowing them to get on roof. read more
