This is our third time having Prime Termite fumigate for us (on different homes each time). They beat another quote we had received and were super quick with responses and scheduling. Jill and Michael were a pleasure to work with, and I loved that they let us know when the crew was running late and gave detailed instructions during the entire process. Prime termite definitely made the process super easy each time we had to fumigate. We scheduled a date for tenting, put down a deposit, and met them with keys. Then, they took care of the rest from there! It is definitely much easier to have fumigation done before moving into a new home, if you're considering whether to do it before or later on. Especially since you would have to worry about removing all food and pets until it's done, and the home is aired out. Prime Termite and Pest Control exceeded expectation. Getting a house tented is a LOT of work, especially if you have a toddler. Accept that it's going to be stressful, arrangements must be made to be out of town for the weekend, etc. The last thing you want is an unreliable contractor. Michael, the site inspector, was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the process. He was responsive via cell, and patiently answered all my questions regarding our 2-story tall ficus tree hedge, which encompasses the property. I felt informed every step of the way, and trimmed back the vegetation just enough. I found their pricing much better than other vendors. Michael said they price-match too, but it wasn't even necessary. The actual tent team was thorough and efficient. A half dozen men showed up, two trucks. Apparently they had three site jobs that day, and I was only the first. I've already recommended them to my brother-in-law, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else dealing with termites. 2 year warranty on the work, which Michael said is industry-standard. Just as they advertised, Prime lowered their price by $100 in order to beat my lowest quote from elsewhere. Scheduling the fumigation for the following week at a convenient time was easy, and Jill kept me updated through the entire process. When I asked for additional bags in which to pack my pantry and refrigerator items they were accommodating. It was all over and done with in 48 hours, nothing was damaged in or around the house, and they even re-installed string lights that had to be taken down exactly as they had been before. The only hiccups were a mistake during payment process (which was at least partially our fault), and some incorrect information in the prep instructions they provided (the FAQ stated that the refrigerator needed to be fully turned off, which ultimately wasn't true). But those weren't bad enough to warrant knocking off a star. I would definitely recommend Prime to any LA homeowner. read more

We are very upset and disappointed by Prime Termite. They scheduled a visit to my home for a termite inspection today between 1pm - 4pm and they never showed with no call to cancel or reschedule. My husband missed a day of work for it. We have a newborn at home and so this matter is urgent to us. These guys were terrible! They drilled hundreds if not thousands of holes in my home, and do not pre warn me that they would be doing so. They only repainted half the holes. They treated a cabinet I had 4 different times and it STILL has termites. And on top of that, they were sexist and misogynistic. The owner spoke to me in very demeaning tones as a single female home owner, and when I complained about the thousand of holes he made it sound like it was my fault for not knowing their process, when it was never explained. I attempted to make contact about getting an inspection for a place that had problems with termites, and I received a message from a "Jessica" immediately, who said she'll try to fit me in on Monday, but won't be able to let me know when on Monday until that day. That day, I messaged back, and called at least 5 times on their listed number, only to received absolutely no response for two hours. So did my agent, but they picked her phone up and immediately hung up. I get not being able to fit people in on a specific day, but it would've been nice to at least know that wasn't possible before I scheduled an inspection and asked agents be there.
