My second time in was just as good! I love the atmosphere. I love the vision. And I especially love the clean plant based ingredients. Who says vegan can't be good? The chicken burger is fantastic! I could eat it everyday. And that sauce is to die for. Yes the shakes are a bit expensive, but they are so worth it. I've been dying to come back for one and it didn't disappoint the second time. The fries are awesome, crinkle cut, my fave. And the ketchup really is next level good. I had a taste of my sister's farmhouse salad and will definitely be ordering this next time. Several fellow Yelpies visited this location last summer. I was going to a concert nearby at D.U. this evening and looked for a new place to try. This is a vegan burger and salad restaurant with plant-based offerings. They have a large varied menu of burgers, salads, snacks and shakes. I had their basic Beyond burger with organic toppings, small sweet potato fries with house special sauce for dipping and a small soy based chocolate shake. The burger and fries were hot & good. The soy based chocolate shake was the best shake ever!! You order at the counter, they give you a table number sign and bring your food to you. I will preface with saying I won a contest for a free meal here for 10 people. Nobody who came was vegan and only one person was vegetarian but everyone LOVED their meal. They are a vegan and organic upscale fast food restaurant I have tried both their quinoa and mushroom pattie, which while doesn't taste like meat, is packed with wonderful flavour and stays together as you would expect a meat patty does, and the beyond meat pattie than when placed with so many toppings and sauces, you truly cannot distinguish from a beef patty. They also have a bean pattie that I want to try. Between the different Patties, buns and toppings, they l have so many different burgers to choose from it's almost overwhelming. Now for their fries. I am not usually a fry person but their fries are so crispy no matter the type you choose, they are all delicious. Their special fries sauce or worth trying for sure! My favourite are probably the sweet potato fries served with their vegan chipotle sauce which is better than any chipotle mayo sauce I've had. My favourite burger is the maverick burger with crispy onion rings, pickles, delicious sauce, choice of vegan cheese (American, provolone or pepper jack; my favourite is the pepper jack), on a tasty pretzel bun. They also have lots of "chicken" options as well from chicken burgers to chicken tenders The milkshakes are also fantastic. The orange cream tastes like a pina colada and the peanut butter cup one is rich and delicious. I got mine with coconut ice cream (choice of soy, coconut or mix of the 2) and don't forget the whipped cream on top! They look small on first glance but i ordered a medium and could barely finish it. I will say for someone who is paying for the meal, it is costly (single patty burgers run as a high as 16 dollars without fries) but that is to be expected for an organic and vegan restaurant. The staff here are fantastic. They had a table for 10 arranged within minutes of arriving and took everyone's orders without a hitch and had them delivered within minutes. They are all super friendly and helpful. There's only about 6 parking spots attached to the restaurant so you may need to park in a different lot nearby. read more

I want to preface this review with the fact that I do not have any dietary restrictions or food allergies but I will be back to Next Level because it is point blank THAT good! After getting a sample of Next Level at an event, I wanted to stop in and try the real restaurant. Located on E Evans Ave near the University of Denver, the spacious restaurant has plenty of seating and a walk up window for take out. I ordered a PubChz Burger which was incredible and completely vegan. The pretzel bun, creamy beer cheese, sauteed onions, and brown mustard complemented each other perfectly. The non-meat patty was juicy and delicious. The fries were hot and fresh and came with a side of ketchup and burger sauce. As if the burger and fries weren't decedent enough, the extremely kind owner gave me a cookies and cream milkshake. As an ice cream lover, this vegan shake was truly delicious. 75th/100-2022 It's always a delight to fond a new place to hang out especially thru the Yelp event. This location use to be Starbucks while back and I had no idea that Next Level Burger moved in. Let's talk about the parking here. Yes, it is limited but have 10 or so spaces and also two right a the front. If there aren't any available, just park around the corner and walk for few minutes. Word of caution! Do not block someone's drive way. Not a good way to spread bad Karma on you. Establishment. Being new and expertly designed, it is super nice. Got one of those....actually several fancy glass garage doors you can roll up and stare at the busy Evans traffic or actually sit by the side walk. Plenty of inside seating also. Walk up to the right side and order using the kiosk which are self explanatory. At the end of your order, will ask for name and number. Ok. Use the number from the place card, not your phone #. If they are out of it, just ask the attendant nearby. Two things that I remembered. Beyond Burger were delicious and so was the fries. Ordered large onion rings but it took a bit of time. One of the friendly attendant stopped by and explained the problem and got small bag of rings and few minutes later, got a large bag of onion rings again. Thank you. Oops... shakes are yummy too. NLB is located right next to Birdcall and across the street from worlds first chipotle. Easy parking lot next to building. NLB started in OR and this is their first CO location. I think the former tenant of the building was a Starbucks. DU students require next level food to feed their higher education palate. I saw a recent survey "Vegans are most likely to be females under the age of 35." And vegetarians/vegans represents about 5%-10% of population. According to EPA in year 2020 US greenhouse gas emissions comes from: 27% transportation 25% electric power 24% Industry 13% commercial residential 11% agriculture (cow fart) Alright let's move on to the food before I deep dive into a climate change conundrum. The beyond fire burger I asked for the ghost sauce (spicy) on the side. It has Tempeh bacon (soy based). Lettuce bun GF. Beyond patty is mostly pea protein, rice protein, methylcellulose. It also has vitamin B12 and zinc so it's kind of like taking a multi vitamin pill. I still prefer the taste of beef better. The sweet potato fries needed more breading and it was over seasoned a bit but do note I prefer less salt in my meals. The blackberry shake was good with real berries and coconut cream (no dairy). Overall I'm not the target market here because I'm a carnivore. However if you have vegetable/vegan friends this place has plenty of menu items to make their tummy happy. read more

I was obsessed with the NLB in Bend, OR when I lived there so I was ecstatic when I heard about the grand opening in Denver! The CEO is a local of Colorado so it's awesome he's back and opened this amazing location. I waiting in line for 1.5 hrs, sadly missed out on some of the free prizes for the first 100 people but I scored a sticker and a golden ticket with 4 free food items. Honestly it was worth every minute of waiting, the food here is amazing and I guarantee you will love it even if you're not vegan. I got the crispy chicken sandwich and it was fire. The chicken tastes sooo real, the mayo, pickles and lettuce added flavor and crunch and the bun was so soft. Paired it with the best sweet potato fries of my life and it was a meal to remember. The milkshakes are my ABSOLUTE favorite! I love coconut, so I always get them with coconut milk (other option is soy) and the cookies and cream was good to the last drop. Tried this vegan burger restaurant last night. It was a ton of fun. I ordered the following: 1. The classic cheeseburger (which came with fries) 2. The cookies 'n cream shake Thoughts on my order: Loved the classic cheeseburger mainly due to the ingredients being so fresh. They let you pick from three cheeses which one you want on your burger. American felt like the natural choice and I don't regret it. The cheese was phenomenal! I miss the juicy, flavor of a real meat patty, but it was still a great burger. I liked the texture of the patty itself and the bun was incredible. I enjoyed the fries as well. They were well seasoned but think seasoning them before frying would infuse them with more flavor. Didn't care for the ketchup used due to its acidic/chemical taste. The cookies 'n cream shake was fabulous. They let you choose from soy or coconut or you can do 50/50. Not a fan of soy, so I opted for 100% coconut. It was delicious! I would for sure get another one of these. Coconut can sometimes be too sweet, but this was perfect. My hubby and kiddo ordered the following: 1. SoCal Burger (with came with fries) 2. Peanut butter cup shake 3. Kids grilled cheese with fries (came with a juice box) He said it needed more sauce since the quinoa patty was a bit dry. The peanut butter cup shake wasn't anything special. It had a nice crunch, but it needed a lot more peanut butter. And the dark chocolate they used was too bitter so a higher grade dark chocolate is needed. Our little guy ordered the grilled cheese which came with fries and a juice box. He was a huge fan of the fries. I tired a piece of his sandwich and the cheese was very tasty. He had no complaints on any part of the meal. Overall food gets an A-. Solid 4/5 stars. It's a bit pricey but vegan food is expensive to produce but just be prepared for that part. They get an A+ for customer service. We so appreciated how friendly they were. They also answered our menu questions which helped us decide what to get. They get an A++ for cleanliness. This is one of my pet peeves at most places. Restaurants should never be dirty. I could've eaten off the floor in this place. I also loved the open feel of the restaurant. The decor is modern, industrial, and fun. They have both outdoor and indoor seating, though it's not a huge place. First of all a parking lot, plus there already. Took both my kids here with me for an early dinner. I didn't bring up the word vegan or anything just to see how they would naturally react to the food. My socal burger was delicious. Instead of going for the beyond burger patty options I wanted to try their quinoa patty. Delicious. Their use of their spicy sauce is great. Fries are crinkly with a dash of like a Cajun seasoning. I also tried their orange creamsicle shake. I opted for the soy and coconut milk mix. Very taste and thick. Must be a soy or coconut milk fan though cause if not, you'll for sure taste the base. Now for the surprise...my kids loved their grilled "cheese" sandwich. My son even wanted more! They also devoured my shake. So grateful for the opportunity to try vegan fast gourmet with the YES team. As other have stated in their review, I'm also a 'meat-gan' but wasn't going to knock on something until I've tried it. I was so tempted to get their green chili burger but ended up trying the chicken bacon burger. Was super surprised everything is vegan here as the burger/cheese... shakes.. all are so super yummy. I added the ghost spread (from their spicy chicken burger) and it was really yummy! I would recommend skipping the bacon in the future as it tastes like little beads of soy or whatever the product they used... it had good smokey flavor but the consistency was not quite there. Other than that the chicken patty was great, the cheese was soft/melty... the fries was on-point! I had the Rocky Mountain Shake with half soy/half coconut... soooo yum! I'd come back for the dessert alone. I'll be back to try their faux beef in the future as it really inspired me to eat vegan once in a while...
