He was friendly and communication was clear. The dishwasher ended up having a loose connection that was tightened but was a little moreccomplicated due to how the dishwasher was recessed (was previously replaced 2 years prior so it's not too difficult). The whole repair probably took a little over an hour and I expected to pay close to what the others quoted but to my surprise he was charging us a premium. When I questioned the price the gentleman stated he made a mistake and he quoted me the price he would of charged if he went out to source a part. Last I checked he never left the kitchen..? This kind of shady practice is why a lot of us consumers are weary and ask for up front pricing. I still ended up paying more than I would of but it was simply to end the contract. I cannot in good conscience recommend SkillRam. EDIT - Response to owner First of, no quote was provided beforehand and I can screenshot the whole conversation. Did you also forget that was the same conversation where you took the liberty to schedule 10am despite the fact that I clearly stated "anytime AFTER 12pm" forcing me to care for my child while balancing this repair. Second, the gentleman backtracked on the price when I questioned it and stated the $320 price was due to an extra charge to source parts. Please dont claim you are innocent because I have the receipts to prove my claim. What an awful way to do business.
