My son and I stopped by to grab a quick lunch at the Neighborhood Kitchen. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is quite small, but the food was packs a big punch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When we walked in, we were warmly greeted. I ordered a Cambo Cali Burrito and it was delicious. The meat was tender, and each bite was super cheesy. Everything inside was well seasoned. The only thing I'd say is that it on the pricier side.

First time to try the Kitchen and I'm giving the shout-out! There's nothing better being so close to work and having a great place to go to. The "sinigang flavor" chicken wings were good which was the 5th star and the noodle bowl with the chicken had great flavors, spot on. The service was fast and easy. Thank you Justin who's the manager that rocks the house! I will tell my office mates for sure! See you again, Neighbor!

We arrived 30 minutes before closing but were welcomed warmly and provided excellent service! It was our first time here (yes, i was that annoying customer coming late & asking for recommendations ), but the staff recommended cajun lemon pepper, sinigang, and tropical habanero! Honestly my favorite flavor was sinigang! It had a good twist and tasted familiar to the cuisine! My boyfriend also ordered the garlic noodles, and yall plsss do not skip on that! Its actually the best garlic noodles he's had! Packed with flavors and a little kick of spice with chewy noodles! Definitely loved the ambiance here too! They have a lot of space to dine in and great place to take the kids to win some prizes as well.

Found this spot a little bit ago since it's down the street from my work. Super tasty!!! I wasn't sure what Cambodian food was all about but had to give it a go and the flavor definitely was on point. Would definitely recommend giving this spot a try. Also the staff is super friendly and helpful. My favorite overall was the garlic noodles with shrimp but loved everything ate. Filling too.

Wanted to try some unique chicken wings so we ordered sinigang and lemon pepper, which was recommended by the staff. Sadly, could not taste the difference between the two flavors, as they both just tasted like fried chicken. Unfortunately they forgot the 2 ranches we were looking forward to trying as well and paid for. The garlic noodles were okay and the spicy noodles were probably the best because of the spice itself. Everything we ordered were based off the staff's recommendation, I think next time we will try the noodles with steak and a 12 piece with sauce. I hope they do not forget the ranch that you pay extra for as well.

Wing Wednesdays are the best at this place! We love their wings and the flavors! So far none have disappointed us! Buffalo, sinigang. Umami and salt and pepper. All a must try! The noodles are just ok nothing amazing but the steak is pretty good. Other than that, wings for sure.

Went to neighbor kitchen thinking it was going to be a Soulfood place, but it actually wasn't a soulful place at all aha. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was FREEZING in the building, literally could see my breathe & I'M NOT being dramatic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Got my food to go because it was too cold to eat inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the cashier was friendly. I got some spicy noodles with steak, chicken, and shrimp. THEY WERE HOT, like the noodles were spicy asf! Whew. But they were soooo good! Top lip was sweating, nose was running but I was going in! It was flavorful didn't need extra sauce or anything. Next time I think I get the fried rice with all the meats inside. Definitely recommend.

Surfin Cambodian Burrito. Open in the bag. Gross and disgusting.

Had to try it again the next day which was $1 dollar Wing Wednesday. Got a 12pc with Lemon Pepper Spicy Ninja and Savory Garlic. The service once again was professional and courteous. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe was almost festive with many seats occupied.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Gratitude and give thanks for another delicious meal experience NGHBRS Kitchen and Staff.

Writing a review after my first couple bites. My wings were dry and hard. They also gave me a small amount of chicken on my garlic noodles. The noodles were overcooked with zero garlic flavor. I wonder if it's because I ordered takeout I am sad to write this review because I was super hyped to try this place after the TikTok videos to yelp reviews. I want to say this was a bad batch but this shouldn't be an excuse to be inconsistent to paying customers. I hope this improves with feedback.

Located off Del Amo in the same plaza as Foggia. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside as well. Open seating, first come, first seating. There's a few tables so don't worry about not getting one. We were greeted by a friendly staff member who took our order with a smile on his face. He was so patient with us and also gave us recommendations since it was our first time there. We ordered garlic noodles with chicken, sinigang chicken wings, and ninja fries. So many flavors in each of those dishes. The sinigang wings were SOOO GOOD! I think I'll order a dozen of that next time. I took a couple bites of the garlic noodles but felt like it needed to be hotter like temperature wise. I was right because I warmed it up in the microwave at home and it was much better! The ninja fries were loaded with their signature sauces, onions, cilantro, cheese, and carne asada. The seasoned fries added more depth to the flavors. This whole thing was a flavor explosion. We'd come back!

    Lomo Saltado with cilantro-Mayo sauce
    Frank O.

Stopped by for a quick lunch in the weekend, left full and wanting to come back to try other menu items. On my first visit I got the Lomo Saltado. I was surprised when it came with both fries and rice, since I've only seen fry-pairings before. After eating it all I still prefer only fries, but I could see the rice option as a good alternative to avoid the fried aspect of the fries. The steak cubes had majorly robust flavoring, maybe so much umami as to turn off sensitive palates. There was a small amount of sauce in the bottom of the container, it was well coated onto the steak and fries and onions. I did mix the rice into the rest and found that after mixing it all the flavor is was slightly reduced but still satisfying. The Lomo saltado came with cilantro-mayo sauce (I asked if it was spicy but this is a different type of sauce completely). I tried it and found that I liked the steak seasoning as is.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean and vibrant space, good customer service and the price was a little high for shrimp fried rice but still good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The shrimp was the best part! If I could order some on the side or by itself I would. The friend rice had green onions in it and a good portion size.

My friend and I shared a variety of dishes: -Student Noodle: If chow mein and pad thai had a baby, this would be that dish. Without the fish sauce, the noodles tasted like chow mein. This dish overall was good! While I would still opt for pad thai, the noodle texture was good and I enjoyed the flavors. We got this with crispy pork and it was tasty, but I wish it was crispier. I liked how it wasn't too fatty. -Fish Amok: It did not look like the picture, but the dish was still good. It was a sweet fish curry which was sweet from the coconut milk. This was tasty and the fish was soft. It wasn't fishy at all. This paired well with the rice. I would still opt for a savory curry though. -Beef Skewers: These were yummy and I enjoyed the charred flavor of these! The flavor was very similar to Filipino skewers. I liked how even the fatty parts were enjoyable. Steamed Rice: Fluffy and not mushy which I liked. It came served in this cute rice bucket which preserved the heat of it. The restaurant was decorated nicely and was pretty clean. Bathrooms available which were also clean. The service was good and attentive. There's lots of free parking in the lot in front. Food also took an incredibly long time to come out even though we only ordered two dishes--student noodles and beef skewers. We also had to wave down a server just to follow up on the iced coffee that I ordered, especially since this was already after the food had finally arrived. Lastly, while it was good that they had their own parking lot, exiting through the almost too narrow alley was incredibly challenging in either direction. The restaurant interior seems to be under construction/ renovation. Elated to see they updated their menu with some written descriptions and photos of the each food items. This really helps with deciding factors for some customers who might not be familiar with Cambodian food. Service provided by a young gentleman was great , He was friendly , attentive and apologetic . What a disappointment uuggghhh!!!!! Cha qua ( fry breads/ fry donuts) At first glance myself and my mom already knew the Cha qua was not cooked properly , it has some weight to it, ( should be light and fluffy) the dough was raw inside. I sent it back. The waiter was apologetic and a few minutes later came out with a new batch of Cha qua . I kid you not, I just chuckled and shook my head . I explained to the waiter, clearly the cha qua is not cooked properly, has a strong odor smell of yeast and the flour is not cooked through and as an experienced home cooks between my mom & myself the dough did not have time to rise and the flour ratio was not properly measured. The young waiter apologized once more and came back from the kitchen explaining what my mom and I had speculated . We asked that he not charge us for the cha qua. So , I didn't think this could get any worse right? LOL!! Cha mee khatang ( similar to chow fun / pad see ew ) I opted for seafood as protein of choice, with shrimps, imitation crabs & squids . The Chinese broccoli was cooked perfectly. Except this dish didn't have much flavor. I rate it 2/5 BBQ roasted duck $25 for a half order. I been anticipating to try their duck for a few years now. To my dismay it was awful , damn! I expected so much more and it didn't meet my expectations. The skin was not crispy, had a funky gamy scent & tasteless flavor and came out cold at that. Rate 2/5 Baw Baw Kreung ( Cambodian innards / pork blood rice porridge. ) Deep sighs ... another disappointment dish . The rice porridge lacks savory taste, it was a tad under salt , by adding the fermented soybeans helps uplift the flavor. I find it gross! the minuscule fragments innards pieces has a bowel odor taste in our mouths. 1/5 Boat Noodle soup , was okay but needed some improvement. The noodles were too overcooked , texture was mushy, the flavor didn't have the savory beefy aroma, appreciate the fresh ong choy vegetables Rate3/5 Beef Stew w/ bread , crunchy crispy hot bread always hit the spot, dunk in hot beefy stew warms the heart. Unfortunately this dish stop short of a perfect meal. Although the meat was tender , the broth lacks the familiarity aroma of spices and lemongrass scent associated with this dish.. Rate 3/5
