Decided to try this place and had a horrible experience with the owner/manager. The other wait staff seemed pretty friendly, and we ordered a beef vermicelli and bbq beef plate. The food looked pretty good, and the portions were healthy. The food itself was pretty good for the Cerritos area --- not as good as Westminster or Garden Grove but decent for around here. Our server was great and came around a few times to ask if we needed anything. Our experience completely changed when we needed a to-go box for our leftovers. We saw a male server with blonde hair and glasses approaching our table, so we made eye contact (he for sure saw us) and waved him down. He completely ignored us and went to the table next to us. We said excuse me politely and asked nicely for a to-go container. He seemed like we were simply annoying him, and he had an attitude with us from that first interaction. He then got the to-go container and rudely slammed it down on our table and stormed off. We asked our server if we could speak to the manager, and the owner/manager ended up being the rude server! We explained why were upset, and he rudely responded that he's having a bad day, as if that justifies his bad service. It's one thing if a server is being rude, but it's another when the owner/manager is treating his own customers like that. He looked young, so maybe it's his family's restaurant. Noticed other Yelp reviews mention that the restaurant recently is under new ownership as of 2026, and looks like it's family-owned and family-operated FOOD -- So many options for both food and drinks! For drinks, the options include coffees, matcha, milk teas, fruit teas, and lemonades, which can include toppings like boba or jellies. Highly recommend the green Thai tea and sparkling lychee green tea SERVICE -- All the staff were friendly and attentive, and service was quick even when it seemed to get busier. We were immediately greeted and seated when arriving. It didn't seem like we had a designated server since we were kindly being checked on by all of them. This place made me happy! I have been looking for a banh xeo spot nearby and I'm so happy they finally have this spot nearby! The Com Ca salmon tasted good, not over cooked, it is still moist inside and the Cha Cha Tha fish is good as well. Came back from a trip and had to have pho! We found this place because they were one of the few pho places that are open late (they close at 9 pm on weekdays and 10 pm on weekends). They are located towards a corner of a popular plaza. Parking is free but you may have to circle around a bit during busy times. We ordered 2 types of beef pho as well as the chicken pho. All the bowls were delicious! They also have a lot of other non noodle dishes and drinks which we plan to go back and try. Minus one star only because the food is a bit salty. The old timers would remember there used to be a different pho restaurant before this one. This is the only place near Cerritos that I can find decent Bahn Xeo. You get 2 large turmeric crispy crepes filled mostly with bean sprouts and a little pork and shrimp. I asked for my bean sprouts steamed because I can't eat raw bean sprouts. I love all the fresh veggies/ herbs served with the Bahn Xeo. Eat it fresh, it does not reheat well or taste good the next day. Lesson learned lol. My daughter loves the short rib pho here. The drinks are pretty good as well. I found this place by searching for "new pho spots in the area." As I drove up, I realize this was where Pho Saigon used to be, I guess under new ownership. That being said, I liked it. First of all, they have a full menu of Vietnamese food, not just pho (e.g., bun/vermicelli dishes, rice dishes, bo luc lac, fried rice, seafood dishes, and coffee/tea/boba/juice drinks.) I ordered the large dac biet (special) pho. I'm not Vietnamese but I thought the broth was tasty. Noodles were the correct texture. One downside is that the meat was a little sparse. The first girl had no idea what I was talking about, then handed me off to another girl who asked me the exact same questions like she didn't understand anything either. We ordered Pho Dac Biet, Ha Noi Grilled Pork Bun, and Deep Fried Crispy Tofu appetizers. The serving portions are VERY LARGE and worth the price. Service was slow at the time, probably because there weren't too many customers, so the servers also took their time. Quality and freshness was amazing. The menu has a lot of variety, so I'm a little cautious that they don't specialize in any one dish. The Pho was good, but if I was going solely for pho, I might stick with Pho Tasty, just around the corner. Pho Tasty has a lot more ingredients inside their Pho Dac Biet and has better broth than Ngon Yummy. But the quality of the Bun and huge variety on the menu such as Banh Xeo is rarely found in this area, so I would definitely be going back for that. I'm not usually a fan of appetizers, since those prices can be as much as a full meal for a small amount of food, but the Crispy Tofu appetizer was as large as a full meal. Summary: - BATHROOM.
