Mediocre and Underwhelming! "Best Pho" is way over stated...especially when they don't know the differences of Pho Chin (a staple in Pho language), which they insist means tendons. Broth was cloudy and completely lacks depth and richness. I was looking forward to other traditional dishes in the neighborhood. The Bun Rieu was under seasoned and underwhelming. There were plenty of seafood balls, and stuff in the bowl, but it still boiled down to the broth...leaving very unimpressed. There was plenty of tofu, tomatoes, cha lua (Vietnamese ham), and rieu (seafood and pork meatballs). I love the toppings in bun rieu and was very satisfied with the soup. My mom was craving pho and our normal spot was closed that day so with the help of Yelp, I found this gem! We both ordered the pho with beef ribs in large size since it wasn't much of a price difference. The pho bowl was huge! it came with 3 large beef ribs that were so tender and fall off the bone! Pure tendernism! *throws glasses* The broth was very rich and flavorful, I didn't need to add much aside from the mints and lime. It was a lot of pho that we took the rest to go and I took the bones for my doggy! We ordered 2 rice dishes to go as well. One was a pork dish and the other was the beef lok lak. We ate it later in the day and it didn't make an impression on us, maybe it would have been different if we ate it at the restaurant. We ended going back the following week for round 2 of pho tho! We have been here a couple of times for pho which was pretty good, but we specifically came back again to try all their other more unique dishes and they were pretty worth trying! Overall the food quality is always good, service is always courteous and helpful, and the price is good value for the quantity. One specialty we tried was Bahn Beo, it wasn't on the menu but was featured on a poster outside previously, we asked and it was available. It's an interesting appetizer came out in 7 little dishes. Each dish has dry shrimps, and other goodies on steamed rice cake. The server taught us to cut each in halves using spoon, add sauces and scoop it up to eat. It's true a flavorful and unique dish. Came here for dinner on a Friday night. It wasn't too packed, we were seated right away. To start off, the service is great. Everyone was so nice. However, the food to us was okay. The grilled chicken vermicelli was probably the best thing. We got the eggrolls, which is a little bland. The banh xeo, very bland and barely any protein, all bean sprouts. The spring rolls sauce was heavy hoisin sauce, doesn't even taste like any peanut butter in there. Don't get the scallops, sorry not worth it. The reason the meat tasted great is that I have always ordered the short rib version. Our server was great and came around a few times to ask if we needed anything. Our experience completely changed when we needed a to-go box for our leftovers. We saw a male server with blonde hair and glasses approaching our table, so we made eye contact (he for sure saw us) and waved him down. He completely ignored us and went to the table next to us. We said excuse me politely and asked nicely for a to-go container. He seemed like we were simply annoying him, and he had an attitude with us from that first interaction. He then got the to-go container and rudely slammed it down on our table and stormed off. We asked our server if we could speak to the manager, and the owner/manager ended up being the rude server! We explained why were upset, and he rudely responded that he's having a bad day, as if that justifies his bad service. It's one thing if a server is being rude, but it's another when the owner/manager is treating his own customers like that. He looked young, so maybe it's his family's restaurant. I love banh xeo and on our way to bakers and barista, we saw this place and decided to eat there instead. Service was great, really nice staff. Cute interior, clean. Noticed other Yelp reviews mention that the restaurant recently is under new ownership as of 2026, and looks like it's family-owned and family-operated FOOD -- So many options for both food and drinks! For drinks, the options include coffees, matcha, milk teas, fruit teas, and lemonades, which can include toppings like boba or jellies. Highly recommend the green Thai tea and sparkling lychee green tea SERVICE -- All the staff were friendly and attentive, and service was quick even when it seemed to get busier. We were immediately greeted and seated when arriving. It didn't seem like we had a designated server since we were kindly being checked on by all of them. If you thought this place was great before, you'll be amazed by the new ownership that just took over your favorite local Vietnamese eatery. They have all the classics from pho, bun rieu, bun bo hue and all your rice classics. Service was phenomenal as we were greeted as soon as we entered and our server was extremely knowledgeable about their specialties. My wife got the bun rieu and I got com Chien with bo luc lac. The meat was so tender and the fried rice was just the right amount of flavor. Not to mention their drink selections were splendid. They offer coffee and other craft drinks as well. The place is okay. Didn't like the togo containers are outside in the rolling cart which make the place not organized. I see some fruit flies flying on our table. The service is fast. The Com Ca salmon tasted good, not over cooked, it is still moist inside and the Cha Cha Tha fish is good as well. My husband didn't know how to eat and the server told different ways to eat as a wrap, or eat the fish with noodles or anyway you want to eat it. It was served fanciful. Came back from a trip and had to have pho! We found this place because they were one of the few pho places that are open late (they close at 9 pm on weekdays and 10 pm on weekends). They are located towards a corner of a popular plaza. Parking is free but you may have to circle around a bit during busy times. We ordered 2 types of beef pho as well as the chicken pho. All the bowls were delicious! They also have a lot of other non noodle dishes and drinks which we plan to go back and try. Minus one star only because the food is a bit salty. Came here for a late lunch, around 1:30pm. We were greeted and seated right away after entering. There were about 6 other parties already dining. After a few minutes we got water. I've been here before when they just opened up. This time around, they might have revamped their menu with new items and new drinks. I tried their shaken beef with rice, and it came with lots of vegetables. The portion size was really big; I almost couldn't finish it. The old timers would remember there used to be a different pho restaurant before this one. Friendly staff, clean simple dining area. I wonder why this place is not packed yet but this is a real good spot. Comparable to NEP cafe where we have tried the Bahn Mi Chao, and tried it here as well.
