    Cod Tacos

This is your standard Irish pub in New York City. They have a very long bar when you walk in. Couple of high boys and tables and then down about eight steps they have a small seating area. Lots of Irish memorabilia and televisions throughout. The señorita drink I had was labeled as spicy, but was more sweet. I had the cod tacos and they were OK. The french fries are tasty and appear to be hand cut and made fresh. My friend had a burger and said it was amazing.

The staff was fantastic, greeting locals and newcomers with the same enthusiasm and service. The vibe is that of a true Irish pub, down to the sunken seating room in the back. The food was great! The fish & chips and Combo Platter were excellent. If I only get to go to one Irish pub when I visit New York, it'll be Niall's!

We came here by chance and really liked it. We had a rest next door and kept on seeing all the awesome food coming from the kitchen. Our bartender Rick was very friendly. We should have eaten here instead of the awful place next door. The restaurant section is charming and we will definitely be back and recommend this place to our friends.

Very solid Irish pub with friendly staff, tucked away on a quiet street in midtown Manhattan that is rarity nowadays. I ordered the turkey burger which came prepared with a good, toasted brioche bun and toppings. There is a diverse beer menu and when seated in the dining room area, you almost feel like you're located in someone's living room. This establishment has apparently been around for decades, and continues to uphold high-quality food, service, and other accommodation. The food feels like standing up food at the end of the day, but is prepared with more attention compared to your standard bar.

Went here just for a small bit of food - the Grilled Chicken Quesadilla. Sadly - it was terrible. The people & the bar was calmly quiet which I liked and the vibe was slow-paced which is what I wanted, but the chicken just tasted completely bland, and the cheese wasn't melted. The sour cream helped, but not that much. It was pretty big though and lasted multiple days.

Great ambiance, great music, reasonably priced, good food and service! We came in on a whim and could not be happier. Definitely recommend this place for an intimate dinner with friends or family!

It was a lively night at Niall's, during the Knicks Celtics game. Everybody was in good spirits and this place had a really nice vibe. My server was very helpful and attentive. I had the tomato soup which was good and then the fried chicken sandwich which was a lot of chicken and french fries! Good food, good service. Good ambiance

My coworker and I was looking for a place to have Margaritas and Nachos afterwork for Cinco de Mayo. Niall's had a beautiful sign outside that caught my eye $10 Margaritas. We ventured inside the pub to check out the Margaritas and Nachos. The Margaritas were pretty good so after a few we stepped it up to the Casamigos Tequila. The nachos were good - a little heavy on the cheese but still pretty decent. Since we was having a good time we had to throw some spicy wings in. I was amazed how plentiful the order was. The wings taste really good and was spicy just like we like it. The bartender was awesome, very personable and was making really good drinks. The customers were nice and everyone was talking and the older customers were telling funny jokes. It was a good experience. Also if you use a credit card there is a 3% processing fee which is not bad considering you are in midtown.

Serviceable, but below average fish & chips. Limited beer selection, service was meh. To be fair, we did go in late & bar was filled with football fans. We sat in the back away from the bar so we could converse & our server was pleasant but not that interested & sat at the bar with her back to us most of the time we were there. I asked for malt vinegar to go with my fish & our server was totally confused, but offered to get me some regular white vinegar. The fries were definitely the best thing, hot & crispy. The experience was average.

Best blue cheese burger and fries I have had in a long time. Initially, I thought they would just be another Irish bar full of noise and booze. We were lucky last week, and it was that busy, so we headed back for some dinner. I ordered a blue cheese burger that came with fries which I gave to my partner, and then discovered how good they tasted. My partner ordered fried calamari which I was not too interested in. We had a wonderful waitress who was very patient with us and gave us some good tips. Will we be back? Yes

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. We will absolutely return.

Fortunately, The Grey Dog's Chelsea location had a large picnic table in the back (and yes, we had to make a reservation in advance). Even so, the seating was a bit tight and uncomfortable. FRIED CHICKEN & JOHNNY CAKES - 18 I wanted a mix of sweet and savory, so this option seemed like a good one. Each order came with two strips of fried chicken tenders placed on top of two large cornmeal pancakes, each bigger than my face. The fried chicken was heavily-breaded (perhaps a bit too much), with white chicken meat underneath that varied between juicy and dry The pancakes themselves were pretty forgettable, and I wasn't a big fan of the lemon ricotta or chili-spiced syrup on the side. Most of our group found their entrees pretty underwhelming. Additionally, service was really slow, and the kitchen forgot an order. Personally, I wouldn't return, especially with so many other great options within two minutes walk away. Edit: Owner pointed out that their chicken is not breaded. What I meant is that the chicken is heavily-battered. Sorry!

Probably the worst food I've had in manhattan to date. We got the shaved steak sandwich which was awful. The steak was somehow raw (we asked for medium well) and rubbery and overly chewy all at the same time. Also tasted like it was seasoned with a pinch of salt and nothing else. The caesar salad was abysmal. They make their own dressing which is usually a good thing but that was not the case here. The dressing tasted like anything but caesar. We told the waitress and asked for new entrees because we couldn't even take another bit of either. We chose chicken tenders and a burger because we figured you can't mess that up. Well.... The burger was also pretty terrible and the chicken tenders tasted of old oil. Now one would think if food isn't their strong suit, maybe they make up for it in their drinks. WRONG. Moscow Mule was not in a copper cup. Instead it was out of a plastic cup made to look like copper. It also tasted like flavored water. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the waitresses gave us new food (also bad) and we're apologetic but it's not their fault. Don't come here for anything other than a beer since they can't mess that up
