Nic & Luc puts a healthy spin on different breakfast and lunch options to choose from. I chose the Keto Scramble. It consisted of delicious house made chorizo, a spicy mayo and a small salad on the side. If you are a fan of chorizo then going to Nic & Lucs is a must, it is to die for! My wife had the Korean BBQ Piggy. The carnitas were top notch and blended perfectly with the gochujang sauce. I took one bite and wanted more! We both also opted for their plant based bowls to add some additional nutrients to our meal. I got the Dharma and my wife got the Nirvana. Each had delicious fresh veggies that make your body happy! To sum it up, you need to visit Nic and Lucs. The are still serving takeout during COVID-19 and have great people running the place. We will be back! read more

I must first say, this cafe truly belongs in a trendy spot. The quality of the food is above par. The name is the name of the owner's sons who are the cooks. It's family run so you get personal care. Unique food, great flavor profiles. We didn't get a chance to try the baked goods because they are their top sellers. When they run out, that's it. They ran out by noon. I came here for breakfast and ordered the egg burrito. Everything came out quickly and the food was tasty and fresh!! They were filling up the cold case with gorgeous salads and pasta dishes. You just feel like it's your family's place. Every time I get takeout but the Chef greats me like we have spent hours together and tells me all the new things he has going on. 6 Stars, my new favoritist breakfast place for myself and to bring guests. Service staff are very personable and we felt like we were being served by a favorite relative. Mr. Owner went over the daily special and Mrs. Owner stopped by our table to chat and answer questions about the food. The food is delicious and obviously made from scratch is in the establishment name. We ordered the Baja Omelet and the 3 Egg Breakfast (pictured here). I savored each bite and took small bites to make the experience last. Coffee was delicious also and we bought some of the pastries to go. Roy (Leroy) the chef and owner is supppeer awesome! I first met him & his wife selling jam at local farmers markets on several occasions in which they already had me hooked (especially the Scorpion jam!) so I was very excited to hear when they were opening a restaurant! They've been open for a hot minute now but since they run their hours 8AM-3PM Monday through Friday I couldn't make it in sooner (limited by my work schedule). I found myself free on a Wednesday and I just had to make the stop! I popped in for lunch and had a quinoa/hummus bowl that was incredibly fresh. My Mom ordered the shrimp wrap which was just as fresh and packed a great flavor! While my Mom and I sat for a long time chatting to catch up on life, Roy repeatedly came over to check on us and assure we were pleased with our selections. He learned my mom had never tried chorizo before; within minutes he brought us over samples of their house-made chorizo and it was SO GOOD! He then brought over all of this jams for us to taste test including one of their newest - apricot lavender (it is absolutely fantastic( cooingly sweet with a floral hint of lavender that isn't over powering like you're eating an essential oil). I also was pleased to find their utensils to be compostable (yay eco friendly!). We also learned Roy trained in Italy as well as in New Orleans which is represented well in his cooking skills. They started summer brunch hours on the third Saturday of each month so I swung in again, this time with the wifey, & It was a welcoming family affair! My wife had the El Burro wrap with their house made chorizo and fire roasted salsa; the flavor combo was worthy! I had the shrimp & grits and OMG he dropped the New Orleans stank on it! Definitely my new shrimp & grits fav in Orlando, by far! So flavorful with a perfect creaminess that was jaw-drop amazing. Overall cute spot with friendly folks and delicious food. Came here with friends directly from the airport so we were the only customers at first. Restaurant is very clean and minimal, what you order at the front and pay there. They bring out the food to you. The staff at the restaurant were super friendly. I had the Korean Piggy Melt which consists of pork, gochujang bbq sauce and kimchi, I didn't have mine with cheese but usually it comes with provolone. So I was looking for a local breakfast place and this place had five stars on yelp. I wasn't sure it was open because all the logo stuff was behind a dark film. I later found out that Longwood changed the code and requires that which was frustrating to the owner. I am glad I pulled over and went in. The decor is simple and very inviting. The owner Nic was very gracious. I ordered a water and wanted bottled water until he told me they have a water filtration system. The water was excellent. The americano was fantastic as well. I ordered my food and they are organic eggs which are full of flavor. And the jam served with the meal was home made. Apparently, they make it using fresh Florida fruit. I ended up buying one of each of them. They are all made with non-GMO, no preservatives and natural sweeteners. All in all, this place is a gem. It is very, very clean and the chairs are very comfortable and it is quiet enough to have conversations. I highly recommend!!!! read more

Hidden in a nondescript shopping plaza off 434. The interior is a clean and modern cafe look...not too big though, so its more of a takeout place. So far I've only had their breakfast items but they've all been good. The menue is creative and not just a generic take on cafe/diner fair. Everything is really fresh too, and there are a lot of healthy options. The owner told me his story of losing weight eating healthy and I appreciated his take on good food for the soul and body. They also have coffee, including some cold brew. My only complaint is that the hours are inconvenient. Theyre only open from 10 AM to 2 PM. It opens too late for a breakfast before work place....but a lot of the menu is breakfast. In any case, I would definitely recommend this place for some where fast, healthy, AND tasty. read more
