Our first visit to Nic and Norman's went pretty well. Amazing service and the food is pretty darn good. The flatbread pizza was probably a 3/5, the meatloaf a 4/5 (great sauce!), the chicken sandwich a 4/5, and the lamb burger was only a 2/5. The feta cheese is odd, maybe it is whipped or creamed? It was just an odd texture and had no tanginess, like mayonnaise? Anyway, it was still over a good experience and it is worth checking out if you happen to be in Senoia. read more

First of all, when I knew we were headed this way for TWD Studio Tour, I had to ensure I had a reservation for this place. I was able to make the reservation online for 4:30. This worked perfectly. We arrived and were seated immediately. We had to order the special addition Terrapin Beer called Lucille and I got a girly pink lady drink. For an appetizer we ordered the pickle fries. Normally I don't like pickle spears, but they thinly sliced these pickles to fry size and they were perfectly battered and friend and served with a spicy ranch sauce. I could have eaten 43 bowls of those. Next I ordered the Mexican burger, which has jalapeño and queso cheese. That was the best decision I ever made! Hands down every bite we had here was an explosion in our mouths. I was going to go here regardless since it was Norman Reedus's Restaurant... but the food way exceeded my expectations and if we find ourselves in the area again I would definitely go back! read more

Delicious! Greg's pick burger was delicious. They come with side winder fries which are thick. Ate the philly cheesesteak fries instead which were so good! Mostly ate the toppings lol. They were not socially distancing. We maybe had 3 ft apart. The table was tiny. I was surprised they sat us so close in between 2 other parties. The place is really cute though. Dimly lit. The chicken strips, green beans, fries, mac and cheese and ice cream was all great too (we love sharing) I've been wanting to visit Nic and Normans for a while and I'm glad to finally have done it!! It had been so long since we had a good waiter anywhere, that we had forgotten how awesome they could be. We were very fortunate to have drawn Gus, who was very easy to work with. This was our first time in Nic & Norman's, and Gus allowed us the time we needed to figure out the cocktail and food menu. We opted to spend the evening in the cocktail and appetizer menus. The flatbread was solid (a little salt would have helped), and the sliders and nachos were excellent. We never met the bar tender, but clearly he was on his game. The desert was a pleasant surprise, too. All in all, it was a great night because our waiter made it so. We were not rushed; nor were we waiting for service. Even though it was a packed and upbeat house, we could hear each other, too. We will be back. read more

3/1/2022 First visit. Themed (walking dead) Pub-ish burgers & more. Called ahead to check if busy, hostess said very, no empty tables. When we arrived 5 mins later, only 5 tables occupied. But staff was pleasant and efficient, even if hostess didn't want more customers. Had a cucumber mule cocktail, fiddlers new old-fashioned cocktail, crab & avocado toast, greg's pick burger, fried chicken pot pie and apples with ice cream. Everything was very good, completely enjoyed our visit. Two small whiny things= 1. The biscuit in pot pie was like lump of dough. Should be tall, buttery and flakey. It should stick up out of filling, I had to search for it. 2. The avocado toast was under toasted, so very soggy and difficult to eat. Even so.....all the flavors were delicious. Nic & Norman's was so good! My boyfriend got chicken and waffles and I got the turkey avocado burger with bacon and a side Caesar salad. The presentation, the quality, the service, and the wait time was amazing! Our food was out within 15 minutes of ordering. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever visited! I also got a very nice pineapple mimosa which was only $3! The pricing was low for the quality of the food. Unfortunately, I do not remember our server's name, but we were on the patio right next to the window of the restaurant. Hopefully she gets the credit she deserves :)) read more

I really enjoyed the food and beer here. Kids had cheese pizza and classic burger. Husband and I had pimento cheese and bacon burger and pork shank with mashed potatoes and creole corn. Everything was delicious. Service was good and local beers were good. Atmosphere very nice, very beautiful chandeliers and even the bathroom sink had a cool metal bowl. Great place for Walking Dead fans and there are at least 7 filming locations to check out within walking distance of the restaurant. read more

Located in the quaint little town of Senoia, Nic and Norman's serve up a fine list of American style food. To be clear, this is not a little greasy spoon dive. This is a. clean well run place and the food is very good. My wife and I split a bison burger that was plenty for the both of us with a side of sweet potato fries and their mushroom rings. Nic & Norman's fits into the fabric of Senoia's businesses like a hand in a glove. With the purposeful connection to The Walking Dead, it would be almost impossible for a fan to resist a meal and visit to the restaurant of one of the show's stars and I did not even think of walking by when I visited Senoia. Seating, service and meal were efficient and polite. My Greg's Burger was hearty and cooked to my medium-rare specification. One of the better burgers I've had. The Seared Tuna Burger had a slab of tuna seared and seasoned well and my wife enjoyed it. Along with a meal, we met a fellow who was a double for one of the stars and he travelled around the world representing the show at various events. Very cool! They also have a selection of printed t-shirts and other souvenirs of the restaurant as well as the show. If you are a fan of the show, I highly recommend stopping here for a bite! read more

Nic (Greg Nicotero, special makeup effects supervisor) and Norman's (Norman Reedus who plays Daryl Dixon) has a Walking Dead connection, but any reference to the show in the restaurant is subtle. What they truly are is a very good restaurant with a creative menu of their own making. I don't think you will find these tastes anywhere else. There were several interesting items on the menu and lucky for me we were a table of four so many different items were ordered and sampled. One of the soups of the day was a Gouda soup which was quite flavorful. The Philly cheesesteak fries were incredible and both my sister-in-law and I agreed they would be our entre choice the next time we visit even if they are on the appetizer menu. You get meat, potatoes, cheese sauce and a few sautéed peppers, onions and mushrooms thrown in for veggies. Sounds like a balanced meal to me. Maybe you could talk them into giving you a sub roll to put it all in and then you'd have one killer sandwich. The barbecue flatbread was very good also with tasty hickory smoked pulled pork and BBQ sauce. The hamburger had a good taste although their "proprietary" meat blend was a little dry (due to lack of fat) and toothsome (too much mixing of the meat). The grilled salmon entre was a large piece of salmon that was wonderfully flavored and perfectly cooked. The asparagus side was ok. The brussel sprouts with bacon and goat cheese side could have benefited from a little more roasting of the brussel sprouts. Both sides could have benefited from a little olive oil and seasoning when they were cooked. With this much tasty and creative food, we had to try the deserts. We opted for the Turtle Molten Bundt and Georgia Peach Cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for both. They were both a pleasure as well. The restaurant is nicely laid out with comfortable seating. Service was very good and attentive. Prices are a little more than some, but with the great taste of the food I just smiled and paid the bill. read more

Their menu isn't too big but I always have difficulty deciding what to get because they have so many great dishes to choose from. This time I got the power blend salad and really enjoyed it. Some restaurants based off of something popular can take advantage of the fact that they know fans would visit anyways, but not Nic and Normans. Wow, what happened? This used to be our favorite restaurant. Trenton is an awesome server. He was off tonight so we had someone else serve us. My Cobb salad with blackened chicken was fine. Son ordered a burger without onions. Came with onions but no cheese. It was fixed. Wife ordered blackened salmon. Server brought it out and said they're out of blackened seasoning. We pointed out that my chicken was blackened. Server said she was afraid to ask the kitchen because they would "yell at her" and did we want the salmon. Wife said no. Server then said she'd check. Brought out blackened salmon that was sushi raw inside. They were very busy so hopefully this was an off night, but serving raw salmon isn't acceptable. The service and food is usually excellent (although the pork shank is hit or miss). Crab cakes and other appetizers are very good. Burgers are also very good. The restaurant look great inside and out. Very classy and the ambiance was what one would hope for. The staff were friendly from the beginning to the end. One waitperson who wasn't ours even jumped in our booth selfie for fun. We started off our Dinner with a Fried Mozzarella starter and I ordered a Green Michelob Ultra because this was St. Patrick's Day. The beer was beer, but it was fun that they offered the green beer. The Fried Mozzarella portion seemed small at first, but it was absolutely delicious, and we realized it was actually the perfect amount for a starter. We ordered a Kids Meal Pizza, Fried Chicken Burger, Greg's Pick, and BBQ Burger. My child enjoyed the Cheese Pizza. The Friend Chicken Burger was delicious. The Greg's Pick Burger was unbelievable, and the BBQ Burger was absolutely incredible. I'm not exaggerating when I say those two burgers are the best Burgers I have ever had. I am a serious condiment person and someone who removes things from how they are made but I didn't add any sauces to these or take anything off and they were incredible. My wife and I actually cut them in half so we could both enjoy them. We also spent as much money in Nic & Norman's swag as we did in food/drinks. Had dinner here w/ friends last Tuesday - we had an early reservation and pretty much had the place to ourselves but by the time we left around 7p it was hopping! Atmosphere is the dark bar but the food choices are plentiful! At the recommendation of our local friends, we started w/ the Brisket Nachos... 5 thumbs up on these! Orders included the pimento mac & cheese w/ brisket (heavy but when in the south a girl has to have brisket...and pimento cheese...), the bacon cheeseburger (stylishly stamped), the queso burger (messy but well received), and the Nic N Chicken.
