I usually love Nice Guys and they don't usually disappoint. We went for breakfast over the weekend and we weren't too satisfied with our meals. I got the Spammie Breakfast Bagel and requested lettuce, tomato, and onion. (Repeated and confirmed my order at least 3 times but it still wasn't correct) The guy taking my order even repeated lettuce, tomato, and onion so I'm not sure what happened... Such a bummer because I know I prefer to add that fresh touch to my meals and it would have made the sandwich good to me. My boyfriend got the Nice Muffin and wasn't happy with that. So I was a fan of Fantastic Cafe. So when this place opened up I thought I would give them a try. I support the small places they usually have better food. But wow their prices were crazy high and they were very slow. Slower than Fantastic. They really should display that they are vegan. The good was ok but not worth the price at all. I am not vegan or vegetarian, just someone who has drastically cut down on my beef intake. Despite that, I still crave a cheeseburger from time to time. Nice Guys gets my seal of approval, as well as bonus points for setting up shop right next to a Wendy's. I went with the "Big Guy Burger," which is essentially a Big Mac. $10 might seem steep for a fast food burger, but you are getting a quality product that is leaps and bounds ahead of what vegan food used to be. Ironic that we used to give McDonalds hell for "100% Beef." The fries are not earth shattering, but they're tasty enough. I do like the vegan ranch, which actually tastes like the garlic sauce you'd get from Zankou Chicken. If Nice Guys can package that up in a compostable container instead of plastic, they'd have a winner. read more

I had the nice burger (their classic) and my boyfriend had the bbq burger and both were delicious. Support their business and I promise you that you won't be disappointed. Wow wow wow! Before coming to this new location, we were worried it wouldn't be as good as the original one. We were wrong! It's just as incredible! The drive thru line was pretty long but understandable and SO WORTH IT! Please come and try! Love this location even more since it's closer to where we live as opposed to the other one. My all time favorite is the premium spicy chicken sandwich w/ sweet potato fries but you really can't go wrong with any of the menu items. 100/10 read more

For me, this is as close as you can get vegan-wise to a real meat burger. All sorts of flavor in their burgers and you can tell they care about quality. I usually go with their regular burger and add on an "egg". Their "chicken" sandwich is pretty good too. Tator tots and chicken nuggets are a thumbs up from my kids. The only thing is their fries are kind of soft and soggy. This would be me go to place for burgers if I had a craving. read more

Just went through the drive through for the first time today. We ordered 5 burgers, 2 orders of taster tots and the nutzarella sticks. We had to wait for a little bit for our food but I'd rather it be fresh! When we got our food it was only in one bag so I asked if everything was in there and the woman at the window said yes. I pulled forward out of the drive through to make sure and 1 minute later a guy came out saying we didn't have all of our food (good things we were checking!) we were missing two of our burgers. We pulled into a spot and waited for the other two burgers which took about 5 minutes. Upon arriving home the tater tots were wonderfully crispy and all of the burgers were very well made, but half of them were not hot from us waiting for the other burgers :/ We got sides of ranch and honey mustard and both were amazing! I would definitely NOT recommend anyone to spend for the nutzarella sticks... It's $6.99 for 4 sticks and ours weren't hot because we had to wait for our other burgers. Nice Guys definitely have some NICE BURGERS!! I've been hearing alot about this place and wanted to indulge into a good vegan burger. The menu was large and i was undecided for about 10mins... In the drive thru at that lol( Don't judge me guys lol) no one was behind me..thankfully. After long deliberation, I decided on the Nice Bacon Burger. This burger was loaded and very filling, the flavor was on point and I had to check a few times to make sure it was vegan. I didn't get a chance to check out the inside due to covid protocols but service was fast, friendly and helpful. As far as vegan fast food goes, this is my favorite. The fried chicken breading really is amazing and makes that burger oh so delicious. The breakfast burger is HUGE and really good too, would definitely get that again. Wow, these "Nice Guys" really live up to thier name! I've been to there Santa Ana, on 17th street twice in less than a week! It's just that good!! The food is fresh, the portions are large (I especially like that). I had the spicy chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. Wow! I absolutely loved both. The chicken sandwich was delicious and felt similar (not 100% true same) as eating an actual chicken sandwich. I loved the crunch of the first bite sinking into this burger. The sweet potato fries are also fire. I haven't had too many bad sweet potato fries, so maybe I'm just biased in that I love sweet potato. The Shroom Burger Combo was 10/10. I ordered sweet potato fries and it came with a choice of sauce. I recommend putting the Thousand Island sauce on your burger. Totally Awesome! This was my second time eating at a Nice Guys. The second time my burger was just as nice. The junior burger combo is perfect for a woman with a average appetite. The regular burgers re quite large. The fries amount is the same for both the junior and regular burger combo(s). So if you are worried about getting less fries with the junior burger- don't be. I've ordered the jr. burger combo twice and have been satisfied on both occasions. I was able to customize my burger with a wheat bun and onion rings. Yes! The location is great. The service is wonderful. If you go inside, you order your food using a kiosk. I found was this to be convenient. It allowed me to see the menu options without feeling like I was annoying the cashier. Full disclosure, the interior of the restaurant leaves a little to be desired. It is outdated and could use attention in the area of cleanliness but, the food makes up for it. Hence, no stars were reduced. I recognize that restaurants are doing the best they can, with the short staff available. I'm grateful to have gem in the meatless world. Don't overthink it- just go or bookmark it for later. Came to Santa Ana to visit a friend, I googled "Vegan restaurant near me " and saw Nice burger and decided to give them a try..... Let me tell you it was a GREAT choice, the place is very clean the service is excellent and the burger with fries are so so so delicious, fresh very tasty. I totally recommend Nice Burger for Vegans. Gonna start by saying that I'm actually sitting in the Costa Mesa location's lobby waiting for my food because the Santa Ana location is closed, walk-in and drive-thru, even though all the sign lights in the window indicate that's not the case. I hate giving less than 100 stars because I love supporting vegan businesses, especially ones that serve up the type of food they do. They bring all the classics you might miss when you're vegan, like French fries that legit taste like McDonalds, Big Mac, and Bacon Cheeseburger with tots. Bro. And everything is always good. Consistent flavor. What isn't consistent is everything else. But only at this location. For either spot, I have a drive ahead of me, but it stings especially when everything indicates they're open when they're not. That's been the case the last 2 times I visited the Santa Ana location. With respect to other times, they're not always on point with my order. Once while ordering the drive thru, there was a misunderstanding at the ordering station, then again at the window, only to find out they still didn't give me an item I paid for. Half the time, I get someone suuuuper nice and friendly, and the other half they're suuuuper high or something. Which is fine, because I am too but I'm hungrryyy, so at least hook me up with the correct order. It's so sad. I feel like any other business that operated solely like this one wouldn't last. They at least have the novelty going for them, but i hope they get their schtuff together cause Costa Mesa is so much further (for me) AND I'd hate to see a vegan business not make it. So I came in they said if I'd like a combo and said sure. They charge separately for everything. I ordered chili cheese fries and they charged me for fries and the chili cheese both almost 5 dollars each. The burger was okay but not worth 13 dollars. and the wings were gross those were 9. I asked them if this was correct because they said this was a combo and they said yeah. I do not recommend this place. They over charge. They only took a dollar off the drink which doesn't make sense the drink was 3 so I paid 2. I changed my 2 star to one star. The fries are not that great. The chili cheese was not worth 5 dollars.
