His lamest flame will be Too brief and burn too pale Double Cheese Burger Combo from #SignSmashBurger
    Mojo S.

The thing about smash burgers that no one tells you is that it's very easy to get wrong. I remember on a visit to Minneapolis Toby and I stopped at this smash burger place that was apparently highly recommended, but when we tried it all the patties were overdone and had the consistency of brittle. You're supposed to caramelize the patty, not char the everliving S out of it. Needless, I would not recommend that place. Sign, however, I will recommend because that was one tasty burger. The edges had the perfect amount of crisp while the middle was still juicy and tender. The condiments were applied in just the right amounts. The cheese too hit the spot with all the ooey-gooey. I won't say it's up there with Nice Guys in terms of satisfaction, but it was a very competent example of how to do smash burgers correctly. The service was quick in both ordering and getting my meal out. The counter jockey was very helpful in getting my refill and answering questions about the menu. The dining area was a bit small and they only had two tops as far as I could see, but it seemed to be okay in terms of business and turnover. I don't think it was suffering for customers. I would have liked more room between tables but that's a small thing, They also hit my pet peeve of serving everything in bags and to-go containers even when eating there. It kind of ruined the dining experience by not having a proper tray and basket set-up. The fries especially looked wrong in a paper pouch instead of arranged around the double burger. But as it is, it's a good place for a burger. Everything turned out wonderful and I hope next time everything is that much closer to perfection.

So good!!! Hot take but this is way better than in n out....sorryyyyy not sorry. The flavor, proportion, the SAUCEEE and amount of options to choose from is just perfect. They have a small but mighty menu. We got the signature burger and the crispy cheese and melted cheese that they do is genius. Sauce is heavenly. Every bite is umami af. Their loaded fries are def a top fave for me too. They have the option to order with self checkout and with the worker. Workers there are friendly and it seems like a small family business because I've seen the same workers on different days now. The only thing I wish they did have is pickled jalapeños! I think that would tie a lot of the flavors together. They don't have public restroom, not really good for large groups, and parking is pretty small. Willl be back!

We took advice to come here for a good burger. They did not disappoint. This is a small establishment with really big flavors. It is a small place but very well light and an open view of the kitchen. The menu at current is not very big but what they do make is very good. We ordered the double smash burger, the single smash burger, and a jalapeño burger to go with loaded fries. All were very tasty with right amount of heat from the spicy jalapeños. We will definitely coming back with decent pricing and staying open until 11 on weeknights as a big plus. Keep up the good work.

Such a trendy place & decently priced . The food was good felt a little rushed tho. And it kind of shows in the food. My single smash burger comes with jalapeño it's was seasoned really good. I do wish the jalapeños were grilled. They were kind of just thrown in the middle of the burger. My loaded fries weren't bad. I like that the topping weren't really heavy. I do wish that the cheese was put first then the topping . Overall good if you're looking for a quick bite.

Parking lot shared with other businesses, parking felt a little bz during the time we went (lunch time Friday) Simple menu: smash burgers, fries, shakes. Clean ambiance, service appropriate. Order through iPad or face to face option. Good burger joint , I wish I ordered the double patty, not just the single. Stop on by, support local :D

Wow! Sign Smash Burger made an amazingly crispy burger packed with flavor without being salty! That's a huge thing for me because sometimes smash burgers can get salty with all the cheese and seasonings, but they perfectly executed this. The buns were toasted to perfection (for my preference anyway). We got to try the Signature, Double, and Single burgers, the loaded fries, and a cookies and cream milkshake. The service was also great as the servers knew what to recommend! There's ample seating for a 2 - 4 people. I can tell this is a popular spot as many people were dining in before I got to take this pic with the empty tables! Will be coming back here for the signature burger because that was amazing!

Came here on a quiet Tuesday night and it was pretty empty, so we were helped right away. The menu was very simple, which was nice. Sometimes there is such a thing as too many options. We helped ourselves to our seats after ordering. The restaurant is very bare. Maybe they were going for a minimalist route? It took about 5-7 minutes for my party to get our meal so service was quick and efficient. I got their specialty burger along with fries. The fries were nothing too special. It kind of reminds me of your run-of-the mill French fries that you would find at any fast food establishment. That being said, it was a nice addition to the burger. The Signature Burger was alright. Though I'm not sure if it's a burger that would me want to keep coming back to eat. Once I finished my burger, I still felt hungry. Ionno, maybe I'm just a fat lard. Cheese was nice and crispy, though. Cool late night spot to go with the buddies, though far from the best.

Oh my goodness! These are by far my favorite smash burgers, my husband and kiddos agree! Husband and I order their double signature burger which has jalapeños grilled into the cheese and sign loaded fries! Kiddos get a single cheese burger and they almost finish a whole one each mind you my kids are 5,4,2 and 1 years old. They are that good!! And don't forget to grab a shake and soft serve!! Highly recommend!!

We came by and sat there to eat. What a big difference that really makes. Taking it home makes everything soggy. I ordered the signature smash. It comes with a double patty with jalapeños, melted crispy cheese, their sauce and pickles. I opted to have the pickles on the side. The burger came out hot. The patty is larger than the bun, so you have go maneuver a little bit to get a good bite. My first bite was a little salty, but then the rest of the burger seemed fine. It was a good blend of flavor. The double patty was perfect and the jalapeños added the right amount of spice. Overall the burger was a good size and the flavor was perfect.

The food is fresh flavorful and well prepared. Service is friendly and quick. Ambiance is simple window counter and tables utensils and ketchup station. Smash patties are flavorful and crispy with a cheese crust around the edges. Loaded fries are hearty but the only comment is I don't care for that nacho cheese sauce goop, I would have enjoyed just as much without cheese wiz but that's a preference.

Service was very polite. This establishment took over, imo, a run down Mexican bakery. Sign did a great job of brightening the place up. There is a bit of a sterile feel in here but the food speaks for itself. I got a double burger with lettuce. There are a handful of extra ingredients you can add for free, like lettuce, tomato, raw onion, ketchup and mustard. The burger already comes with smash sauce (like 1000 island), grilled onions and pickles. I wish I could have asked for extra pickles! The the burger tasted so beefy (without tasting like meat, you know what I mean?) and salty. It was really good and I ate the whole thing. The fry on the fries is REALLY GOOD too. Front parking is a nightmare but there is additional parking in the back. They share an separate bathroom outside with the Cali tacos. Anyway, welcome to Orange!

Fries, loaded fries, smash burger, signature burger, cookies and cream milkshake

Great food at a really reasonable price. It's casual and everything is Halal. Their loaded fries are PHENOMENAL and the staff were super kind!

Finally got to stop in at Sign and got the double smash. The inside is small with just a few seats. I ordered and it was not a long wait for my burger. The burger was really good but the fry's are just ok. Nothing special. I have to say the burgers here you need to try they are that good. Grilled onions and pickles if you want. The special sauce is good too. Give them a try.

All our food came out pretty quickly and around the same time as we had ordered one after the other. My burger was delicious! All their burgers here are made from wagyu meat. Mine came with sliced avocado (pretty much half of an avocado) which was ripe, smooth and creamy. It also came with crunchy onion strings and their special Topa Topa sauce and of course some kewpie mayo and shredded cabbage. The cabbage was super crunchy and fresh. The buns were super soft and toasted perfectly. The fries were alright. The Okonamiyaki style was unique and the toppings were tasty. My Dr Pepper was a little too sweet, maybe it was more syrup than carbonated water. Overall the burgers here were great! I also got an order for my boyfriend later that night. I wanted to share some comprehensive feedback regarding a recent experience, aiming to highlight both your successes and areas where further refinement could elevate the customer journey even further. First and foremost, I must commend your team for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my order, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. This level of customer service, which often feels lacking in many establishments today, truly sets American Grub apart. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall experience, and I sincerely hope this commitment to friendliness remains a cornerstone of your operation. However, I encountered a couple of points that, in my personal opinion, warrant consideration for improvement. Regarding the payment process, I felt a degree of apprehension about providing my credit card details over the phone. While I understand the operational need to secure orders and prevent potential losses, particularly for larger transactions, for a single item like my bacon cheeseburger, priced at $17.24 including tax, this practice felt somewhat disproportionate. I also noted the 99-cent fee for online payments, which, while minor, might deter some customers who are seeking convenience without additional charges. Perhaps exploring alternative secure payment links for phone orders or adjusting the fee structure for smaller transactions could enhance customer comfort and streamline the process. My primary concern, however, arose upon returning home. Despite ordering a bacon cheeseburger, I discovered the burger completely lacked bacon, as well as any form of sauce or mayonnaise. This oversight had a significant impact on the meal; the absence of these core components rendered the burger quite bland and far from the experience I had anticipated. When ordering a single item, the expectation for meticulous attention to detail is particularly high, as there are fewer variables. Consequently, the overall value of the meal, given the missing ingredients, was not quite met on this occasion. I did reach out to the owner privately via email to discuss these points, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency in addressing my feedback, particularly concerning the rationale behind the phone payment policy. It is reassuring to know that your business is open to customer input. My hope is that these observations can serve as constructive input, allowing American Grub to continue refining its excellent service and product quality. I remain a supporter of your local endeavor and look forward to seeing these aspects addressed. Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, all my reviews and communications are crafted solely from my personal experiences and genuine perspectives, not AI. Every word and insight you read is authentically mine, driven by my commitment to provide honest feedback. Even though the review was long..(lol) I wanted to make sure the details are accurate and understandable.
