I have been here multiple times over the last year and they have always done a great job on my natural pedicures and my gel manicures. The pedicure chairs actually massage well and are very comfortable. The way it is set up, you have a level of privacy because you are not facing the windows and the shopping center is not as busy on that side so you don't have to deal with people looking in at you while getting your service done. They have multiple nail techs who are experienced and happy to help you find the design and style you want for your service. They keep their salon clean and work really hard to make sure that they have openings for walk ins in addition to servicing their appointments. The staff is kind and helpful. I have been to almost all of the nail salons in Vacaville and this is joe my go to spot. Plenty of parking available in the CVS parking lot and the location of the nail salon gives you some privacy. read more

First time here and I am impressed. I am very picky when it comes to my nails. My technician did good without me asking and happily made modifications to my nails when I asked. The lace for my nails and pedicure was not rushed but also didn't take too long. The massage during my pedicure was relaxing. The shop and pedicure chairs are clean. I understand that the nail salons have only just reopened and that yesterday they were busy but wow, I'm very disappointed. My friend and I arrived and were told to return in 30 mins. We returned 30 mins later and were seated in the massage chairs right away. No one approached us for another 30 minutes, when a man came up, switched on the foot baths and walked away. We were then not approached again for almost 15 mins when my friend was assisted and I was assisted a further 10 mins later. The girl I had didn't even push the cuticles back (as you can see in the pictures) and kept pushing my foot around rather aggressively. She was struggling with my right foot for whatever reason and called one of the other ladies over who proceeded to tell me how crooked my nail was and that I needed to soak it (not sure how that would fix my crooked toe but ok). My nail has always been a little crooked but the paint covers it pretty well so not sure why there was such a problem. She kept moving the drying thing around and rubbing it on my nails - you can see the scuffs on my left big toe in the first picture. She must have noticed because it has been covered in the clear polish since. I only saw how messed up they were once I had stood up and stepped outside into the sun (obviously whilst she was doing it, my feet were facing her). I am not happy with this at all. I would have gone back in to get it fixed but we had been there for far too long and I didn't really want to spend any more time in there than I already had, especially as we had plans for the rest of the day. I had a terrible experience my first time at this nail salon, I will not be going back. I paid for a luxury pedicure and it was far from enjoyable. She burned my leg with the hot stones, I tried to tell her my water was cold and she couldn't understand me, she painted my actual toe instead of my toe nail and I had to fix it myself and ruined my $80 manicure in trying to correct her mistake. She also didn't give me a top coat and was rushing me out of the chair even though she didn't do that to anyone else and there was no one waiting. My overall nails are just not cute in my opinion and it was by far the worst pedicure I've ever received. I will not be recommending them to anyone. read more

Got a pedicure. Had an appt and didn't have anyone start anything for about 30 mins. They switched workers halfway. She took forever on exfoliating and massaging one leg then would rush the other. She filed my toenail crooked and I had to ask her to fix it before she painted them. I had nail polish on my skin on three toes. And they didn't put any cuticle oil on after so my toes were dry. My pedicure was $35 but when went to pay was told it was $50 due to gel polish. The workers were very nice I will say but I just don't think it was a very professional pedicure. read more

I needed a specific color because of my college graduation pictures. I have been to this place three times now, usually they said the third times a charm, exact opposite!!! The first two times were good, but today was far from good. I called the day before to make an appointment, I specifically asked for a particular person for my nails. When I arrive early for my appointment I'm told that the person I requested was off, okay I can give someone else a try. Strike 1 Then I proceed to get my pedicure, never once was I asked what kind of pedicure and now she's emptying the water?!? Strike 2 Now I'm willing to give someone else a try on my nails (I'm not picky on toes, but nails is a must!) and this other person starts soaking my dip off and she reaches into a drawer to get a nail file, looks like it's a trash can and it's labeled "trash" maybe it was mislabeled... then she puts it back into the "trash" then comes back to check my nails and notices she needs the file again. Reaches back into the "trash" and now I see tissue and other trash in there!!!! I asked if she was getting it out of the trash... she couldn't understand me for she didn't speak English. Appalled and grossed out, I take the rest of the foil off my nails and walk out. Gross!!!! Strike 3!!! I will never go back to this place. read more

Do not go here, continue to the next nail salon. Please be careful with these nail places. Once you get a foot fungus it's hard to cure. Try years of treatment!!! This place comes across as a clean establishment but they're not. I seen one of the female workers put another customer feet into a previous used bag, disgusting! Then they were talking in their native language and laughing. Way too many nail places around to deal with substandard service! Done. Stay away from this place if you want fungus free feet! **UPDATE** Second visit: So I went back and had a terrible experience. She filed the skin off 4 of my fingers then I had to sit there with the alcohol wraps on them. I told her it was hurting but she didn't understand so I sucked it up. Then she pinched the skin off one of my toes while trimming back cuticles. I told her NOT to put alcohol on that toe, she didn't understand again this time I wasn't going to suck it up. So after trying and her coworker sitting right next to her not helping, I finally told her coworker to tell my lady to not put alcohol on that toe or I will involuntarily scream in pain. She told her, which she clearly could have done sooner and my poor toe was safe. Anyway long story short, terrible experience and I will not be going back. **First visit** I have been going to the same place for 8 years and decided to try something new. I'm really glad I did, I got a gel mani and regular pedi all done by Cathy who was sweet as can be. She's not a talker but neither am I so it worked out. When I did need to communicate we had some language barriers but nothing that couldn't be figured out with hand signals and facial expressions which resulted in laughter. I have been coming here for approximately 3 months and I love every time we come. Everyone is very friendly and they have a great selection of colors. I like when I set an appointment up for two pedicures we both get done at the same time! I hate when I go to other salons and book an appointment for a specific time and one of us sits in the chair while the other person gets the pedicure. My first experience here. Vickie was my nail tech. I told her 3 times I wanted the $35 advertised mani/pedi special. At the end of the service she wanted $55! She looked at me like she didn't know what I was talking about. I told her it was advertised in the Vacaville Your Town magazine. She asked if I had the coupon. I told her there was no coupon just an ad. She stated the boss would require the "coupon." I reminded her again that I told her what I wanted. She said I could pay $40. The mani/pedi was outstanding so I gave it to her along with a $5 tip. I'm sure she had understood me but she wanted to cheat me out of more money. I don't like being played. Its too bad too because she did a wonderful job. I also observed the staff don't greet African-Americans when they walk in - only Caucasians. The only time Vickie spoke to me during the entire mani/pedi was to discuss money. Amazing. Not too good for a grand opening!! I loved my mani/pedi but the service and attitude sucks. Total ripoff. I decided to try this place and since the beginning manager asked some random guy who didn't seem like a mani/pedi technician to take care of me. I was in that chair for 10 min top for my basic pedi. He barely filed my nails, did not even bother to clean the skin off or anything at all. I stopped him until he started to paint my nails and it looked horrible. I asked him to re paint it and he was just trying to add more layers of nail polish. I had an overall wonderful experience at Nice Nails. Immediately when I walked in I was greeted by their lovely staff. Myself and two of my friends didn't have an appointment scheduled, but they were able to fit us all in regardless. Wait time of like 5 minutes. The atmosphere and environment was clean and relaxing. I got the lavender pedicure and it was amazing! I also got gel nails on top of it and they offered $10 off since it was all our first visit.
