I have been going to this salon for my mani/pedi for years. I kept trying to go even though my favorite nail technician, Diane, was no longer there. I was hoping she would be back. Since I have been a loyal customer for so long, I had good faith that Kathy would take really great care of my daughter's beautiful hair. It had gotten so long during the pandemic and we were finally feeling safe enough for her to go to a salon. Her hair was all the way down her back. I asked for bangs and just a BASIC CUT to past her shoulders. This is what we got! It's soooo uneven and you can see stray hairs! I could've done this myself! Poor, poor work for someone that's supposed to be a seasoned stylist. She was also very distracted during the cut. It was a complete mistake on my part. I actually trusted her since I have been coming for so long. You would think that she would value her customers! After this, they have lost my business for sure. Sad. Every gel manicure I've gotten at Nice Salon has been wonderful! Kathy and Cindy do a great job every time. Their technique is great and I never get bumps or air bubbles in my polish. They always double check with me to make sure I'm satisfied with the nail shape, gel color, and overall job. I work with my hands a lot, so it's amazing that these gel manicures last around 3 weeks before the first chip. Another thing is that I always feel relaxed and welcomed here. The manicurists are so friendly and funny, so I always enjoy the experience. Make sure you give them a call before heading over to make an appointment or to double check the wait time! I have been coming to this Salon for almost 4 years, and I can honestly say I will no longer be coming here for any service ever again. On Feb 28th I got a full set of acrylics (as it's only been 9 days now) and by the 7th day a nail had already come off. My nails are all lifting and they're all in pain and it upsets me because I feel like they used to do a really great job. While the owner did give me a discount for having to wait 30+ minutes, my group and I had made an appointment and still had to wait to be seated, as another woman was seated before us even though she came in after us AND we had made an appointment. Don't get your nails done here if you're looking for good service, and a good set of nails. read more

My regular place was closed for the holiday and as I looked for another alternative, I found this establishment and based on the not so bad reviews, I figure I'd try this place out. My experience? Not so nice. While the technicians and "hairdresser" I encountered were really friendly, the service/product did not match. I got a regular mani ($10), while my aunt got the Mani/Pedi special ($28). I was not sure if this was one of those cases where I got what I paid for, but man it was bad. For my mani, it was SUPER rushed, a few of my nails were uneven, cuticles not cleaned thoroughly and uneven polish application. You can clearly see where the clear coat was not applied evenly, and unnecessary bubbles. For my aunt's experience, she was cut several times by her nail tech and her nails were cut down in a such manner that it was painful, she also the nail tech did NOT put a clear coat on her mani. I mean, once you've been pinched and cut, you just wanna go. I could've understood if one of us had a bad experience with our nail tech, but both? Geez. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

I was a bit nervous walking in to a new nail salon since I have been going to the same two for over 13 years, but I was desperate need for a mani. I never really get gel nails since I'm so hard on my nails , but since it's new Year is approaching in two days I decided to treat my self . Zero stars! Worst experience ever from a nail salon. I get there at 3:30pm for a manicure and pedicure they started in my feet at 3:35pm. The lady that takes over to do my pedicure changes to be because her previous customer complained. She did an ok job with my pedicure, but she took almost 2 hours! Then she goes to my nails, and 30 minutes in she still doing my cuticles. She ended cutting three of my cuticles to bleed. And if I wouldn't have told her to put alcohol she wouldn't have. Now, I am very upset, but I let her do her job to finish. Once she is done my nails look worse than before! I was very upset but kept my composture. When I went to pay the manager say I am sorry and charge me the full price for the manicure. It is unacceptable. Dont go here! (See pictures). read more

I am loving this place!! I went 2 weeks ago because I needed to get my nails done and my usual place was too busy and it's always hard to do a walk in because they are always booked! I couldn't wait so I called Nice Salon and they had an opening. I'm always hesitant to try a new place but I took a chance. They are very friendly and the place is very clean. I saw it being remodeled a few months ago and I'm so glad that they are now open for business. My nails looks great! It's also a bit cheaper than my regular place and it's a plus that is just down the street from my house! They also have more selection of gel colors. Another plus for me is they are next to my massage place and my boba tea place! Downtown Hayward is starting to be happening and I would rather support the small businesses here than other city. read more

My new nail spot. I have no complaints at all. I come in as a walk-in about a half hour to closing and they insisted on taking me in. I got a full set of acrylics with gel. The lady who did my nails took her time and always asked me if I was pleased before she went on to the next step. They have a nice location as well. I recommend parking in the lot of the movie theater or across the street behind Buffalo Bills. All in all, I had a great experience and recommend you give this place a try. This is now the only spot that I'll go to. & I forgot to say it was only $30+$5 for gel! They do good quality work for a good price. read more

I don't usually write reviews ( but I check them on Yelp before heading to a new place). It was my first time here because my old nail shop across the street burnt down. I got a mani-pedi and was in there for over 2 hours with an appointment. The lady who gave me a pedi cut my toenails uneven and I now have 2 ingrowns. The manager did my Mani and a) tried to talk me out of the color I wanted b) completely ignored me and the design I asked for which was not complicated at all and c) cut my cuticles to the point I was bleeding and made excuse that my cuticles were dry. I have had several Mani/pedis and have probably had only two bad ones in 20 years and this was the worst. I went here on a recommendation of a colleague and I do not recommend this place at all. read more

This is the second time I've visited this salon and unfortunately I wont be returning after my most recent experience. It was near my house and I was really excited to have found a place I can visit that did a decent job. My second visit which was a few days ago was really lacking. The women who did my mani and pedi seemed nice enough but they just didnt do a good job, especially the mani. My nails weren't cleaned up well or painted well. They were filed uneven and when it came time for a top coat I was asked to first dry my nails and wait because basically my seat was needed for another customer. After waiting for sometime I asked someone else to please put on the top coat and clean up the polish on my skin. They really sloppily put the top coat which caused air bubbles on my nails. When I mentioned that she just put another coat and I was sent on my way. Not two days later my nail polish was completely falling apart...see pictures. Never again. read more

Had an appointment for 10 am for four of us, we get here, only three workers to begin with, so they start working on the three people I am with and sit me in a chair, over an hour goes by without anyone working on me, someone comes in with an 11 o clock appointment and they take her right away.
