Customer services was amazing and for the price of the food was sorta pricey but it was all worth it

We ordered a pastrami sandwich combo with fries and added cheese on the sandwhich to mimic a pastrami melt. The sandwich was okay but the one thing that I think should be changed is the bread. The bread seems to be very tough so it makes it hard to chew and I think that if they had a softer and lighter bread then it would make a big difference. Other than that the service is great the cashier seemed to be very very friendly and in a good mood. Next time we go we will try a burger. read more

I didn't just leave a negative review based on one time visit. The last 3 times prior to my last visit I got bad food. The onion rings we're burnt. Nicks used to have this really awesome chunky meat burrito, it was unique and filled with this shredded beef. For some reason they decided to replace it with a totally mediocre carne asada burrito. My friend and I ordered carne asada burrito and onion rings. The two orders of Onion rings were burnt, not one good onion ring in either order. I had a third of carne asada burrito and didn't bite into any carne asada. We gave them $20 they gave us back garbage. read more

4/20/16 Thursday, I took a ride from Big Bear, CA to Relands for the day and found Nick's Burgers, because up in Big Bear, I have yet to find a decent hamburger and was so thankful to have eaten at Nick's the food was delicious and the prices just right, I ordered a hamburger, taquitos and a order of zucchini that was huge so I shared it with a couple sitting near me, I wished Nick's was in Big Bear, because I would be there at least twice a week, because it is a total of close to 115 miles round trip to eat here. Food is great and always consistent but the staff is rude. When going through the drive-thru they are short, pushy, they cut you off mid order with "is that it?" No it's not I'm mid order can ya calm down please. They never give you a total until you get to the window and then stand there impatiently while you get your money ready. I came here today with my son's and my husband on 3/11/2018. We came here to try it out. As you walk inside it's old school style with the booths but clean. The girl at the register was very nice and friendly and helpful and great customer service. I ordered the mushroom burger with swiss and a order of zucchini s with ranch and it was the bomb. My youngest son ordered a tuna melt sandwich it was okay, I tried it but it was too fishy tasting for me and too much mayonnaise. My oldest son ordered a bacon cheese burger with fries combo meal and he liked it alot. My husband ordered a a chicken burrito and he liked it alot, and yet I had to take a bite of the chicken burrito which was the bomb. This restaurant was very packed it's a cute little place but it needs an upgrade especially in the bathrooms. It's good food we will be back here again. read more

How to describe Nick's Burgers.... it's the type of place you look forward to coming back to after traveling, or eating other places for a while. Nothing fancy or award winning here at all, but GREAT value, consistent quality, and very friendly service. I don't think I have ever tried anything else there but the bacon cheeseburger and fries. My wife gets the veggie sandwich (dry on wheat). As I type that I laugh as I've said those words many times over the last few years. Also, I feel it's a little too pricey for the food quality they provide. First, we ordered a carne asada burrito, and for whatever reason it included both, asada and chicken. We were looking at the menu board and my husband asked a question about the combos. The manager said it's right up there can't you see? My husband did not have his glasses and told him he couldn't see. I had asked for more medium lids since they were out of medium lids. I thought the bigger lids were the large lids so I mentioned that to him. He proceeded to point his finger to the kids label and said those are kids cup lids that are on the counter. From the second I arrived, the staff was very rude. Gal who took my order, was short and snippy. When I got my food, I had no utensils and asked for ranch, which I was told was 50 cents. I got my food, asked for a to go box. Explained how rude they had been and that a fork would have at least been nice. Went to Nicks today and ordered Chili Cheese Fries and was really disappointed to find that they reduced their portions by what looks like half. Why do company's penny pinch and expect their customer base to stick around? Don't waste your time, go to Burger Town. Last time I waste my money here. Btw.. I spoke to the Mangager and they them selves said that the portions have been reduced by a "few ounces". According to them this is the standard, so yes the portions did change and guesses are it's because they need to cut corners to produce more profit or make up for lost profit. read more
