I ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger. I wanted to order their zucchini fries because they are so good but it would be too much food for me... The burger was amazing. Soft fresh bun; thinly sliced shredded lettuce; and best of all the bacon was chopped into 1/2 inch to 1 inch pieces! Every bit had bacon! Also, very clean. I have a love/hate relationship with this place. It's right down the street from work and they server delicious Burgers. Sandwiches, Gyros for crying out loud even Breakfast items. The place is amazing. But so, so, so bad for you. I think even the salads are fried! But so far I have had: Double Cheeseburger Chili Cheese Fries Gyro Breakfast Sandwich. The last was my favorite -it is like a home cooked breakfast sandwich, with mayo, lettuce, tomato...yum. It was perfect. Exactly what I needed when dragging at work one morning. My dad, my daughter, and I frequently go to their drive thru for zucchinis and mushroms/onion rings. They never disappoint. I really liked this place, I ordered a charboiled chicken sandwich with lettuce and pickles, and the garden salad with ranch dressing. I order chicken sandwiches wherever I go, and this one finally impressed me. It was very fresh and tasty. The salad was probably my favorite. Went there for lunch today. Good burgers and onion rings. Unfortunately the drive through attendant forgot to give me a bag. I didn't realize it till I got home. I called them and let them know. A male who I'm assuming is a manager of some sort offered to bring the food to me. I thought that was pretty awesome. Swung by Nick's to pick up dinner for my family, ordered about $60 in food, I asked for 1 single ranch for my steak sandwich, the cashier prompted me by saying she would have to charge me extra, at this time I saw old Nick walking around the kitchen and politely asked if she can ask Nick to do us a favor and hook us up, with a single ranch, she came back fairly quick and responded " He said " No " ". They lost a customer for life, prior to this we frequented Nick's at least once a week and at times triple that. It's sad to see an establishment try to nickle dime their regulars. I should have guessed they weren't business savvy, after all, it took them YEARS to transition to accepting plastic ( debit/credit cards ) as payment. Who hesitates that long in this world of cashless transaction, it almost makes me wonder if they were evading taxes by accepting only cash. I found a new place to get my steak/roast beef sandwich, Tess' Place on Barton and Mountain View, in Loma Linda near the McDonalds. Sandwich with amazing flavor compared to Nick's, they provide whatever condiment you ask for free of charge, not to mention the delectable selection of desserts to take home with you. Sad to say the quality of the food has really been slipping. Must be a new generation operating the place now. I ordered a Tuna Melt. Cost $6.20. I did not taste cheese. I could not SEE any cheese. I left the drive-thru to go inside to inquire. I asked a worker if there was supposed to be cheese on my Tuna Melt. Her reply was a snippy "Of course there is, that is why it is called a melt!". I asked her to SHOW me the cheese. She said "see the little line of cheese there?". I said I did not. "Well, it IS cheese." The "line" looked like mayonnaise. She was too busy to assist me further. On top of that the "tuna salad" was dry and bland. SECOND disappointment there in recent times. I chose to ignore the first one as POSSIBLY a bad day. USED to be a favorite place. I can not say anything nice about last nights experience. I went through the drive thru and was the only car in line. I only ordered a chicken salad and a medium Diet Coke. I waited 15 minutes for them to put fucking chicken and some lettuce together. With no apology and attitude from the older lady working the register. By the time I ended getting my food there was five cars behind me which I felt sorry for. If they couldn't make something that easy in an appropriate timeframe, then the people behind me were screwed as well. Definitely never go back from this experience, unless it's the last resort. DONT GO AT NIGHT. holy smokes. Me and my boyfriend go quite often for their breakfast burritos, which we love. The people are usually super nice as well. However, tonight I think I met the rudest worker there. Literally making me contemplate going back because I feel so disrespected. I went up asking for two milkshakes, because shakes are clearly listed on their menu in the drive through. The girl said "We don't carry shakes" I responded with "Oh, that's weird, it's on your menu." Very snarky, she remarked "Uhm we haven't had shakes in about five years, so yeah we don't have them." I said, "Uhm okay, but it's on your menu clearly sooo just letting you know." She was short and said "okay" and never said anything again. No apologetic tone or anything. Again, we go literally every week in the mornings for breakfast, and I'm not gonna lie, pretty pissed off by this customer service.
