It is piled with lots of fruit on top of fresh romaine lettuce. The raspberry vinaigrette dressing is the perfect choice for this fruit salad. I've also had their slices (not pictured) and that also did not disappoint. Each slice has a great undercarriage while cheesy and crispy at the same time. Chicken Parmesan: Regrettably, I can't say I feel the same way about the main course. It looked decent on the outside, but the taste didn't match its appearance. The single cutlet wasn't breaded to its full capacity; it had a rubbery texture. The thick red sauce had tasty chunks on top, but there was a puddle of water on the bottom of the plate. Cheese didn't have much of a char. When I return, I'll definitely order other dishes, but not the CP. read more

Stopped for a quick bite to eat in Bergenfield and decided to try this pizza/Italian restaurant. I ordered my staple: a chicken Caesar salad. While the chicken had the consistency of being store-bought and frozen, it was cooked very well, and the salad itself was well-made and tasty. I was particularly impressed by the menus on the wall--they were very vibrant and eye-catching, without being gaudy. The staff was friendly and seemed to have a great rapport with their regular customers. Although I didn't try the pizzas, they looked very appetizing. From what I've seen in previous reviews, it appears they used to be cash-only, but they now accept credit cards, which is a welcome change. Just moved here recently from Queens, New York. As you may know New Yorkers are critical of pizza.... so with that being said.... you will not be disappointed. This is a cash only pizzeria but don't worry, if you are like me and never have cash on you, they have an ATM on the premises. The pizza is delicious, but don't stop there. Hands down one of the top 3 best pizzerias in Bergen county, possibly my favorite. The specialty slices are UUUHMAZING! Chicken bacon ranch pizza is great. 1 slice will make you full and make the button on your pants pop. But it's just too good. My boyfriend orders the veal parm sandwich often from Nicks. We have ordered delivery + ate in several times. No complaints either way. Delivery is always fast + the pizza is always exactly the way we want it. It's been a while since we visited Nick's Pizza in Bergenfield, NJ. We were near and decide to stop by the other day; after getting out the car to turn back around made me realize why did not visit that often: -1* Management/Clerk - they are not nice and unprofessional. -1* Restaurant - is small, damp and not really clean. -1* Payment - options are very very limited to JUST cash; during this pandemic one thing we learned is to updated your technology to make more MONEY & be more customer SOUND & friendly. +1* Food - I heard the pizza was okay but near got the chance to taste it. -1* - parking is limited, no curbside service, no mask, no nothing. I guess we may not get a chance to taste their brick oven food as they are not following any CDC guidelines. read more

The place is solid. We had two slices and a chicken parm hero. Slices were nice and thin, minimal sauce and well done. I prefer full cutlets in my chicken sandwich rather than the chicken being cut up in strips. It fills the sandwich up while using less chicken. Worst service ever. I order 2 slices. And they don't take cash granted they had signs up. But some people just walk straight in so am not gonna nick pick that. The guy puts both slices wrapped in foil and in a bag. I don't realize it after I pay. I look inside not even a paper plate under. Nothing. I ask the old lady at the register if it's possible if I can get a small box so I can eat in my car. You know what she had the audacity to say. " am not doing doing! For 2 slices! No way." I was shocked. Let it go. I go in the car and sure enough the whole paper bag is filled with grease. Get on my arm rest. I go back inside and have a nice old chat with that rude lady. I show her the bag and the grease and tell her that's why other places put paper plates or even in a small box you don't talk to customers that way. One of the best pizzerias not just in Bergenfield, but in all of Bergen County. I ordered a couple of pies for pickup, and it was a very easy process. I went to Nicks one afternoon and ask the guy if I can have 2 slices he said sure. He pulled out 2 dry looking slices and put them in oven. At the same time he pulled out a fresh pie. I asked him if I can have my slices from the fresh pie and he said "no , once I sell these then I sell those" I was like really? I can't have fresh slices instead of these slices that look like they're from this morning? The guy was like "that's rite if you don't like it get the hell out of here" and this was in front of other customers I was mortified. SO I NEVER WENT BACK THERE AGAIN. Where I eat now, they gladly give you your choice of pizza and never try to sell me old pizza first. 5 stars for their plain pie. It's everything you want from a cheese slice. Crust is good, sauce tastes great and the sauce to cheese ratio is also perfect. I've had toppings before, but unless I'm in a mood, I usually stick the plain when I'm here because I won't ever complain about it. Small spot by railroad tracks so I wouldn't dine in, but it can be done if you don't mind the noise of the train. There's usually these two old grandpas sitting together by the window having dinner and they don't seem to mind it.
