Menus and a sample of their food
    John M.

Stopped for a quick bite to eat in Bergenfield and decided to try this pizza/Italian restaurant. I ordered my staple: a chicken Caesar salad. While the chicken had the consistency of being store-bought and frozen, it was cooked very well, and the salad itself was well-made and tasty. I was particularly impressed by the menus on the wall--they were very vibrant and eye-catching, without being gaudy. The staff was friendly and seemed to have a great rapport with their regular customers. Although I didn't try the pizzas, they looked very appetizing. From what I've seen in previous reviews, it appears they used to be cash-only, but they now accept credit cards, which is a welcome change. Overall, a pleasant experience, and I would consider returning to try their pizzas. ---

My heart is happy and my tummy full! So happy to see Nick's open again. They take card, which will make things easier. Got the Sicilian slice, so crispy and cheesy.

Hands down one of the top 3 best pizzerias in Bergen county, possibly my favorite. The specialty slices are UUUHMAZING! Chicken bacon ranch pizza is great. 1 slice will make you full and make the button on your pants pop. But it's just too good. My boyfriend orders the veal parm sandwich often from Nicks. We have ordered delivery + ate in several times. No complaints either way. Delivery is always fast + the pizza is always exactly the way we want it. If you eat in it's always clean and the staff is friendly. They have tons of other options other than pizza as well. Stuffed shells, lasagna, eggplant parm.. The whole 9 yards people. I've also ordered salads from here before and they are always SUPER fresh! Honestly, ya can't go wrong with anything here. 5 stars all around.

Worst service ever. I order 2 slices. And they don't take cash granted they had signs up. But some people just walk straight in so am not gonna nick pick that. The guy puts both slices wrapped in foil and in a bag. I don't realize it after I pay. I look inside not even a paper plate under. Nothing. I ask the old lady at the register if it's possible if I can get a small box so I can eat in my car. You know what she had the audacity to say. " am not doing doing! For 2 slices! No way." I was shocked. Let it go. I go in the car and sure enough the whole paper bag is filled with grease. Get on my arm rest. I go back inside and have a nice old chat with that rude lady. I show her the bag and the grease and tell her that's why other places put paper plates or even in a small box you don't talk to customers that way. And oh yeah guess what I check the reviews it's all about this rude old lady. She should not work there. Don't buy from there. And good luck if u run into her.

I've been a bergenfield resident for almost 2 years. I think this is the best pizza in town so far. I've tried a lot of their different slices as they always have a variety of different slices in the counter. This place is cash only which I don't like, its 2016 come on. I've ordered full meals a few times always excellent. this place doesn't fail check it out.

The menu is still the same, but Owner Cinthia recently added a wide variety of empanadas to the menu. It's time to crack open these homemade Dominican turnovers and check out the inner fillings. Beef: This original version of this folded turnover is packed with plenty of beef along with homemade seasonings. Bacon Cheeseburger: If you want to supplement toppings to the beef empanada, the bacon cheeseburger is a must try. It's practically identical to the classic sandwich. Ham and cheese: The savory ham combined with the gooey cheese will blow your tastebuds away Shredded Chicken: The seasoned chicken has a slight kick and you won't be disappointed. Pepperoni Pizza: If you want a variation of a classic pepperoni pizza pie, you've found it! If you are a vegetarian or simply need a break from all this protein, here are a few meatless empanadas to explore. Four Cheese: It's time to get the best of many worlds with mozzarella, cheddar, colby jack and pepper jack. Spinach and Cream Cheese: Here's a fair share of greens! Guava and Cream Cheese: This dessert empanada is a perfect closer to the meal. The sweet tropical fruit blends beautifully with the cream cheese. This was another flawless experience exploring this new menu addition. #unclefrankspizzeria #homemadeempanadas #dominicanempanadas #beefempanadas #baconcheeseburgerempanadas #hamandcheeseempanadas #shreddedchickenempanadas #pepperonipizzaempanadas #fourcheeseempanadas #guavaandcteamcheeseempanadas #GuavaEmpanadas #spinachempanadas #dumontnj #unclefrankspizza #dominicanstyleempanadas

Was not disappointed at all, first off 50 bucks for 4 people, where can you go and spend 50 bucks for 4 people? I spent 33 bucks at Wendy's the other day for me and my kid. So 50 bucks for 4 people for 3 courses in awesome! We got the ceasar salad, which was good and they gave us plenty of dressing and didn't skimp on the croutons or cheese. Next was rigatoni with oil and garlic and I gotta say I don't know what they did to the roasted garlic but it was amazing, like I was picking all the little pieces out of the pan it was so good. Then we got the sausage and peppers and if that wasn't enough they threw in meatballs with it as well. There was more than enough food for the 4 of us and we are big eaters. The sauce was so good and that fact that we eating at home I could soak up all the sauce in my bread without fear of being stared at by other patrons. We plan on ordering again and plan on going to dine in as well, the place looked newly remodeled and was quite cute inside. 5 out of 5!

I felt a little like Ray Liotta in "Goodfellas". The service was excellent and our waiter rattled off an extensive list of daily specials and they all sounded wonderful. We settled on burrata and a fried vegetable appetizer. The burrata was good but the fried thing was even better. I wish I could remember what it was because it was so good. I guess that's what I get for writing my reviews 2 months later. It was some kind of vegetable stuffed with cheese, battered and fried. It wasn't too oily and all the flavors and textures went well together. For our entrees we went with linguini in clam sauce and cavatelli, broccoli rabe, & sausage. The linguini was a solid plate of pasta. Linguini, clams, sauce. It tasted exactly how you expect it would and the pasta was cooked well. The cavatelli was much more interesting to me. The different textures and flavors really made it a joy to eat. The pasta was al dente while some of the sausage had some crispy bits to it. And the broccoli rabe kind of made me feeling like I was eating somewhat healthy The ambiance was nice if not a little dated. Not bad though, it was cozy. I'd come back, but not too often. It's pricey.

We started with the three-color causa (traditional, pesto, and beet), each topped differently. The flavors were well balanced and thoughtfully put together. The mixed ceviche was fresh and bright, with a citrus note that really brought everything together. The choros a la chalaca were generous and nicely balanced between the flavor of the sea and acidity. I especially appreciated that they offer chifa cuisine (Peruvian-Chinese fusion), which you don't see everywhere in Bergen County. The tallarín chifa was well executed and full of flavor, and the tipakay added a great sweet and crispy contrast. Overall, a solid experience and definitely worth visiting if you enjoy Peruvian food in the area.
