Say hello to my (current) favorite pizzeria. Whenever my workplace wanted to order a pizza lunch, I noticed the same name was always bandied about - Cassie's. And even as a takeaway order, it was consistently delicious. I've since made several visits to the actual location, and it's regularly a hit. The bread that comes out at the start of a dine-in meal is such a gift. I love that it's served warm, and it's a hearty serving. It's a lucky thing that the food always comes out so quickly, or else I'd be filling up all my stomach space with it. The pizzas are fantastic. Categorically, I'd place them close to a Neapolitan, which is actually not my favorite type of pie but it's done really, really well here. I don't know if it's the fresh mozzarella or the fresh crust (in fact, this is the only place where I'd happily finish all my crust pieces, they're so good), but everything tastes like quality. I especially love how they serve up their meatball toppings, which are thick hunks of well-seasoned meat and well worth the tuppence they cost. The pizza's not the only star here. I'm not sure why, but there's something about the Caesar salad here that spanks my sweet taste buds. All of their salads come in two sizes - individual ($13) and family ($28). I find that to be pretty pricey for a salad, but when I ordered an individual salad to share with my husband during my last visit, it was a decently sized plate of salad for both of us. The dining space is huge, with both tables and booths divided between two rooms. Service is both kind and efficient; I've never had any issues and I'm regularly surprised at how quickly the food comes out.

I came here for a work lunch. The restaurant is in the heart of downtown Englewood. Street parking is tricky but there is a garage near by. I ordered the pasta and salad lunch combo and ordered a Caesar salad with vodka pasta. I forgot to take a picture of the salad but it was huge! I could barely eat my pasta, which also was delicious and creamy and had to pack it for later. We sat near the kitchen so it did get a little hot while we dined but nonetheless had a good time.

Ambiance: (5/5) Went inside to pick up the pizza and they have great seating and decorations. Price: (4/5) Prices seem average for the area. Food: (1/5) I was very disappointed. I ordered my pizza and I was there 10 mins later and the pizza was cold. It seems like it was already made and they gave me one for an hour ago. The slices were also cut in random sizes. They weren't even similar. I was really looking forward to my forward to the classic pizza because I have heard great things, but I can't say I agree.

We had a really nice time tonight celebrating a friend's birthday. The bread they served was amazing! Fresh and hot! There were 6 of us. We split 2 salads. Nice portion but we probably should have ordered 3 or made one a large. Then we split 3 pizzas. It was just enough. I wasn't stuffed but did not leave hungry either. We had the margarita pie, a white pizza, and the grilled chicken pizza. My favorite was the white. We had the tartufo for the birthday girl - it was also yummy. The waitress was very friendly. It was a very quiet atmosphere and fairly empty but it was a Tuesday evening. The service was very good and the prices were reasonable.

I've gotten takeout from Cassie's Pizzeria before and had decent experiences, so I decided to dine in with a small group before a local event. The place was very busy, so I didn't mind being patient with the staff. My group placed our drink and food orders, including a pitcher of red sangria. However, over 20 minutes later, we still didn't have the pitcher and had to flag down the server just to get water. When the sangria finally arrived, it was disappointing--completely bad, which was frustrating after such a long wait. My SO ordered wings as an appetizer, and they never came out. Three of us received our meals, but two of the cauliflower pizza crusts were cold, somehow both burnt-looking and undercooked. One group member didn't get their meal until 15 minutes later, making the whole dining experience even more disjointed. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had all year. Eventually, the wings and the last meal came out together, but at that point, it didn't matter. The server did inform us that we'd receive a discount for the mistakes, which I appreciated, but overall, this visit was a disaster. I'll be avoiding Cassie's going forward.

In my top 3 restaurants of all time, this place is special. Their pizza is perfection: it is fresh, the sauce is just the right amount of sweet, and it is super light.. I can accidentally eat 5 slices and not even feel like I did. My favorite menu item is the Cassie's Chopped Salad which is also so fresh and it is delicious with plentiful toppings. The experience is what makes this place even better. There is never a wait and the dining room is very specious so you're never on top of other people. The food comes out so quick it's incredible and you're served endless complementary bread which is sooo delicious. Highly recommend.

I used to come here as a kid all the time! I haven't been back in years until the other day. The food is still as good and the service is great! It looks like they maybe have redone the interior a little and it looks a lot nicer now!

Wow! This is some really great homemade Italian food, someplace you can take your family for a nice slice or a great pasta dish! In the heart of Englewood is a hidden gem that has been there for years, I had to try some apps! I got the meatballs that came with a little side of ricotta which was perfect for dipping, they were succulent and delicious. I also got the eggplant rollintini which was coded in mozzarella cheese melted just the way I like, Yum. And then to be healthy I got a chicken Caesar salad, if you were in the North Jersey area you definitely have to stop by.

Cassie's is located in Englewood and has easily become my go to spot for pizza and pasta. You can't go wrong with any of their pizzas and they can also customize it. I ordered the individual chicken parm pizza but asked for vodka sauce instead of marinara. The carbonara, penne vodka, and rigatoni alla toscana have been on rotation in my house. You can customize by adding your choice of protein. The individual portions are HUGE and could easily feed 2-4 people when coupled with an appetizer or pizza. I've only ordered take out thus far but I can say the staff has been friendly on the phone and when I go in to pick up. They're also prompt and I've never had to wait very long for my order to be ready. Definitely try Cassie's if you're in Englewood and have a craving for pizza or pasta!

This is a very delicious restaurant in downtown Englewood! We came here for dinner and had a great time. The food was flavorful and absolutely delicious. They menu has pasta, pizza, sandwiches and more! For appetizers we started off with the fried calamari and steak bits. The steak bits were so so good, I'm still thinking about that dish!! Definitely get that as an appetizer to share! For our entrees we shared the penne ala vodka pasta and margarita pizza. Both were excellent options! And lastly, for dessert we had the brownie sundae which just hit the spot. If you're in the area be sure to check them out!!

So, the comfort that I didn't quite find at my hotel? I found it here -- at an Italian restaurant…read more I wasn't so much in the mood for Italian food as I was for patio/al fresco dining and something delicious to drink. The food was an afterthought (initially). At Aumm Aumm, it (the food) became the main story. My rideshare dropped me off and I thought, 'This will do.' A large patio in the late spring sun was just what I needed. I walked in and said I was a party of one and I wanted to eat outside. Done. Soon, a very chatty and kind waiter was taking good care of me and offering a glass bottle of still water.* As I am wont to do, I ate in waves: appetizer and main course (and, if I have the room/interest, dessert). A drink and a solid. A began my meal with the burrata. Rarely can you go wrong with a ball of cheese but this was a silky, milky sphere of mozzarella, served with oranges, toasted walnuts & topped with truffle honey. Truffle honey. I tried to pair every bite with cheese, citrus, nut, and honey and each time I was successful, my mouth sang. To accompany my chews, my waiter suggested Rancoli Vermentino, a dry white with a crisp finish and enough adjacency to the fruit components of the burrata to make it make sense. Lovely. I forgot that I was in Jersey. For my main, I had a GF version of the pennoni alla genovese napoletana - slow-cooked caramelized onions & diced beef pasta. Simple but incredibly flavorful (which, I've learned, is what Italian food is all about). The plate was large and I could smell it before I saw it (a very good thing). To help bring the dish to life, my waiter suggested a warm red blend (earthy, cherry/berry forward). He was correct on the type of wine but I was a bit disappointed in the price point. Believe me, I know the ins and outs of the restaurant biz, but this glass should have been (at least) a couple of dollars cheaper (knowing what I could get a bottle for). This slight faux pas lessened my rating to a 4. Not the end of the world. Just know what you're paying for before committing. I was pleasantly full so I passed on dessert/coffee. Th NJ sales tax was less than I was used to but the dreaded credit card charge fee made an appearance. I probably spent more money on dinner than I would at present but I don't regret the experience. I slept very well that night. *There was a charge. Know before you go.

Established in 1969 on the site of the former Bicycle Club, Giovanni's Bicycle Club features irresistible flavors of Italian cuisine from family recipes using the finest ingredients. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable but was not necessary on a Sunday. Upon entering this two-story building, my partner and I were greeted by the host, and a few patrons were enjoying their meal on two enclosed outside patio decks with fans in the summer, so we joined them. The windows could be raised for that inclement weather, and heaters turned on when needed. They do have a main dining room, with the front bar much fancier. A few small bicycle artifacts make the place memorable and unique. We decided on the Philly Cheesesteak and Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad. Complimentary bread with dipping oil started our meal. The food was tasty with a healthy portion. The price was a bit pricey. The service was friendly; our server was Buket. We could recommend this place.

The capellini is a blend of primarily angel hair and sweet sausage. Simply add a touch of parmesan cheese and you'll be in heaven. I usually eat cheese filled ravioli with marinara sauce, but the chef put an excellent twist to this dish! The food preparer has given a new meaning to ravioli by altering the filling and the sauce making it tastier. On a slightly constructive note, I enjoyed the tartufo but it's basically a pricey version of a Klondike bar with a cherry in the middle. However, their cakes are out of this world. The tres leches and chocolate mousse has the perfect amount of sugar and consistency. Sweets like these are the reason why there are two "s" in dessert; you'll always crave seconds! The linguini was a solid plate of pasta. Linguini, clams, sauce. It tasted exactly how you expect it would and the pasta was cooked well. The cavatelli was much more interesting to me.
