We went here because everyone raves about their pizza and it was ok? The sauce is watery and doesn't have much flavor, the crust is just meh. The only thing that is perhaps a cut above most other Italian joints in the area is the cheese - it is fairly high quality. And the restaurant is frankly a bit scary. Its cramped (we were at a table that was so small they had to put out serving plates *under* the pizza tray, which made for a very uh, exciting meal) and its best not to look to hard at details, such as the ceiling or the floor. Someone needs to tell the owners of this place to treat their staff better ! Management can be heard lecturing the waitresses and degrading them- the cooks are no better . Nick's is my all time favorite for pizza. I have lived in Chicago and still nothing comes close. The pizza here is true New York style, AMAZING pizza. Their Italian salad dressing is also to die for. Ample portions at reasonable prices (pasta is an additional $3 with entrees) and half portions of pasta are available. The ranch dressing is excellent and was the high point of my meal. The red sauce is extremely salty and by the time I had finished half of my meal, my tastebuds had gone numb. The restaurant is cozy and warm--probably due to the fact that the restaurant is always crowded and tables are closely packed. We had to ask for knives and spoons and were told that they had run out (there were full sets of silver on the empty table next to us). My wife and I enjoy the pizza from here. It's always made perfect. Out of all of the pizza shops I've tried in the area, Nick's is my favorite and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good slice. Why 3 stars? The cashiers that have helped me have an issue noticing me at the counter and wait on other people that clearly have come in after me. This has happened twice now so I will not be doing business here anymore. I really like the pizza too. They are dine in as well and the food always smells delicious. I am an Endicott native and have been going to Nicks for pizza for years. The pizza is good. Take out is quick. However dining inside of Nicks is a different experience. The restaurant is dated and colored in beige. Its very very tacky. Many tacky murals and cheap dining furniture and not in an ironic, divey way. I ordered gnocchi with the red sauce, and it was just okay. Bland and extra cheesy. Nothing special. I also had a house salad which was not fresh, lettuce wilted and veggies soft. The desert is not homemade, definitely from Maines or Costco. The waitresses always seem busy and efficient however the last time I stopped in at Nicks, what I presume is the owner, scolded and yelled at a few of the waitresses at the waitress booth that was directly next to my table. It was very unprofessional. I saw one of the waitresses red eyed after the confrontation. VERY Uncomfortable to be around. I would NOT recommend Nicks. Go to Consol's or Antonios on Oak Hill. read more

I mean, granted I usually only eat their gnocchi (LITERALLY THE BEST IN TOWN, FIGHT ME ON IT) and on occasion we get the pizza. I haven't had much food from here, but what I've had has been really good!! I really like their pizza, this is tied with Consol's for my favorite pizza in Endicott, but Original's is also up there too! A friend of mine told me to try the garlic pizza with red sauce and I'm glad I did, it was great! The pizza is traditional thin crust NY style, very good! I also had their chicken parm before, which was good, I really like their sauce, but there was some confusion in the order. I called in and placed my order and apparently there's 2 ways you can get it, one is just the chicken by itself and the other way is with a side of spaghetti. I wanted the spaghetti but apparently I didn't order it that way? They asked if I wanted the dinner and I said yes, I assumed dinner means more food haha, oh well. it did come with a side of bread that resembled garlic knots but without the garlic butter. another bummer is that they don't give you salads when you do takeout, yet they charge you the same price. The menu seems a little basic too, but you most likely won't leave disappointed, I need to get out here more often! read more

It has been a while since I have been to Nick's. My mom and I decited to go there for dinner tonight, now I wish we didn't. It was just awful!! I have a stomach ache. I had eggplant parm it was mushy and the only flavor the sauce had was salt. My mom's chicken para tasted like uncooked flour, not pleasant at all. My mother has the shit's.,. Excellent home made taste. Casual atmosphere, reasonable prices. Excellent service. Pizza is delicious- crust is the perfect thickness, sauce is tasty, perfect sauce:cheese ratio. I have NEVER had a bad meal here. Highly recommend the eggplant rolatini, pasta with garlic and oil, rigatoni and meatballs, lasagna, manicotti....ok, really anything on the menu! When there's a line, yes, you have to wait, but it usually isn't a very long wait- the longest I've ever waited to be seated was 20 minutes, but usually it is much less than that. Also: they offer large orders of pasta, meatballs, etc.. for pick up if you are having a get together (order in advance)....very reasonably priced and they taste exactly the same as when you eat in. This is the best Italian restaurant in Endicott. Though there are other places in Endicott that are wonderful, Nick's is the most consistent in regards to both food and service. read more

Love Nick's. Go there whenever I'm back home. Great Italian meals, pretty good pizza, awesome ranch dressing, decent service and prices. My favorite is spaghetti with mushrooms, and sometimes the manicotti. Definitely recommend it. Small family restaurant, expect kids, and a line during busy times, but it moves fast. Nicks is one of the greatest Italian restaurants in the Endicott/Binghamton area in my mind. I haven't had a single dish there that I haven't liked, my personal favorites have to be the chicken parm and the gnocchi. Its reasonably priced for the amount of food you get and the service is normally pretty good. If you do go keep your eye out for the owner Nick because hes normally wondering around who is a really friendly guy. I always love it when the owners actually come out to talk to the people eating at their restaurant I think it makes you feel like part of his family. Overall I think its much nicer than the other Italian places out there like Mama Guccepi's, Tony's or even Michelangelo's. read more

Nick's makes good pizza, although not in my opinion, memorably good. I have not been in quite some time (perhaps they have re-done the place, as the chairs in the photograph look much higher quality than the small, vinyl/metal ones we sat in), but I would much more consider Nick's for take-out than eat-in. I don't even remember what we ate when I was last there, but I do very much remember the cold breeze coming from the entry, the uneven and crowded table/chairs we sat in (I think the floor was uneven and also it felt like we were kind of stuck in the aisle) and being completely unable to get my chair to have all four legs on the floor at the same time. So three stars for the food, and none for comfort or ambiance. Not somewhere I would want to sit down to eat a meal. read more
