Met some people here for a quick dinner. It's in a strip mall with lots of parking, which is a big plus. Lots of room inside & plenty of tables if you want to eat in, which was also excellent. The bathrooms were a little grubby I'm told, and there was very little lighting in the parking lot, but overall it was a nice enough neighborhood place. We ordered a couple of pies, which true to its name, were NY style. The pizza was good and the staff was friendly. Food came out fast. They had a local hot sauce (parlor city pepper co sweet heat) on the condiment table and it was phenomenal with the cheese slice. Super close to downtown too without being right in the heart of things. We were going to LUMA festival after, and this was the perfect place to grab a bite beforehand. read more

Stopped in to pick up an order for my office for a small celebration. Inside is really spacious for seating and customers. Staff were pleasant and communicative. We ordered three pies and an antipasto salad . The crust was well done for New York style pizza. Pepperoni style was not greasy and just the right amount of crispness. We're born and raised New Yorkers that moved to FL 13 years ago. We're up to visit friends and tried out New York Pizzeria. I was literally brought back to my childhood. I love the classic pizzeria look, the hot oven feeling and especially the yelling your order over the high pizza display! The pizza was delicious and the staff was super nice, even got excited when I told them this was my 7 month olds first time in NY and having NY pizza! Good! I'm from NYC living in Philly, so take my review with a grain of salt. Not great, just good, especially for the price. Half sausage, half mushrooms is 15 and change which isn't bad. The amount of sausage on the pie is ridiculous.. Seriously, you won't be wishing for more! Canned mushrooms, but that's no surprise. Thin crust which is good. The amount and flavor of the sauce was lacking for me and I wanted more cheese. Very nice people working the counter when I picked up and pleasant to place the order over the phone. read more

Was our super-fave pizza place until 1/2 hour ago. Called into order pizza, garlic bread, salads, and drinks, (we get carry out from there at least 2x A week)! NEVER AGAIN!!! Our call was answered by a exceedingly rude & disrespectful young woman. Was left with the impression our order ($25+) was an huge imposition to her. My new friend is on a Keto diet and getting her to eat pizza is like "parting the seas". A Saturday night I convinced her to order a pizza. I ordered a large mushroom and black olive and paid for it. To my surprise I got home and a plain pie was in the box. At that point it was too late to order something else. i LOVE this place! The absolute best pizza-by-the-slice selection I have EVER seen. Usually over TWENTY different slices to choose from! Cheap prices! Their plain pizza (the best indication of a pizza joint's quality) is good. Not very good, not great, but good. This is about the only pizza place where the plain (cheese, red sauce) pizza gives me slight heartburn. Their specialty pizza is very good (not great, but cheap, and very good!). The Philly Cheesesteak (steak, peppers, onions), and there Taco pizza are very generously topped. Unfortunately, I usually avoid the Chicken Spiedie pizza because, I assume, spiedies are fully cooked before they go on pizza, then pizza is cooked. By the time the slice is reheated, chicken is pretty dry. read more

We have ordered from New York Pizzeria three times and they have been great every time! They're delivery times are usually within 30-45 minutes even on a busy weekend and the food is never cold. My first tip is to try their garlic knots. They are so delicious -- may be some of the best I've ever had. As far as their pizza goes, I have only ordered their pepperoni and buffalo wing pizzas, both I highly recommend. The crust always has a nice crisp to it unlike some other reviews have suggested. I have ordered one of their cheesesteaks and it was pretty good, definitely one of the better ones that I have had since moving to Binghamton. After living in Philadelphia I have high expectations. I will order from them again, possibly tonight because writing this review is making me hungry. read more

Almost always on point! Whether delivered or eat in. Tonight's pizza was but at all typical. It was really thick and not as "greasy" as usual! I had half pepperoni & half crumbly sausages. Oh, it hurt didn't taste like their typical, with spices either. So disappointed. The salads are always just do so but ordered the large tonight. It consisted of iceberg lettuce, 2 tiny grain tomatoes& 2 slices of unpeeled cucumber. Boring! However, this being said-One time in the many times I have been! The staff works there asses off! Prices are great. Sometimes they can't keep up with the lunch mess and crowd. So you might have to clear a table. But you can't beat their lunch specials. It's one of the 2 restaurants in that area. And the best!! When my brother comes in from Savannah and my son comes in from Austin, Texas, they always want to eat here. Definitely the best New York style pizza in the area. Ordered the eggplant parm pizza--totally hit my craving spot! Crust was just right, sauce nice and light, lovely texture on the eggplant--crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside! Now, my only problem is not with this fine establishment, but with Yelp itself. The boneheads who run this app have been getting opening hours wrong for quite a few businesses, including this one. I always filter for the hours a business is open before going because I don't want to be that jerk who walks in five minutes to closing and keeps everyone from going home on time. Even more awkward is walking in thinking you've got another hour, and only after being seated find out that you are indeed that jerk because the restaurant closes an hour earlier than reported on Yelp. Long story short: the pizza here is amazeballs but the hours are different than Yelp thinks they are. The hours (as of tonight, 6/26/17) are M-F until TEN, Saturday until 11, and closed Sunday. read more

This is another of my favorites! Guys in there are all friendly and don't keep you waiting. They have a buffalo chicken pizza that is PHENOMONAL!!! Has HUGE chunks of real chicken! Sauce is good and crust is very good. Nice area to sit inside and check out games, or sit outside. Pasta is really very good too. Excellent variety of almost everything! Restaurant is clean and comfortable and restroom is clean as well. Buy 2 slices and get a free fountain drink!! I grew up in Binghamton, believing that this was pretty mediocre pizza. No real reason to go unless you had to choose between it and Domino's. But then I moved to New York City, and realized - nope, it wasn't even mediocre. It was crummy. The decor is fairly run-of-the-mill, and the store is clean enough. Staff is pretty much hit-or-miss, and the prices are good. The actual pizza, however... I've learned that you can just have a thin crust and call it "New York" - see, the pizza has to actually be -good-. This floppy crust, bland sauce, and salty cheese don't qualify. At their peak, they're passable, but most times, I wonder again why I came in. (Because my best friend loves the place, that's why.) Oh well. If you find yourself standing in front of the place with nothing but a few dollars and an empty stomach, go ahead, it won't hurt you. But it won't leave you with a taste of New York, either. read more

Bacon pizza! Need I say more? :) It's one of the least greasy pizzas I've ever had. They have a buy two slices get a free drink policy for about $5. The crust was crunchy on the bottom and doughy in the middle. Delish! read more

While I can't vouch for the other pizza shops in Binghamton NY, I'm assuming the other reviews are accurate in stating that this is the best pizza in the area. I know that's not really saying much. The two slices + a drink for $4 is a pretty good deal and the slices are a good size. It appears that they had a lot of different pizza options including a taco pizza and a buffalo chicken which my friends seemed to like. Taste wise, the pizza really wasn't bad. I went with the pepperoni. It was a bit greasy, but not over the top. The strip mall itself where it is located leaves much to be desired, but oh well. Decent pizza. Good prices.
